Tri missed and hissed softly as his shadow did the same before snapping back behind him. Looking up he backed away //fallen// he categorized mentally for the report . Confident, and going from his powers the right to be so... Gravity? Or air? The needed to bring him down quickly. If air than his dart would be usel-. ".." He flared his wings for balance as the ground under him started to vibrate. Ground and air? Not good.

"Code ash activating!"

//what!? NO// Tri turned toward Hexxis catching sight of Zaku stabbed through the abdomen before she turned toward the second meta who had decided to come down. //mortal wound// he ignored them, focusing on Hexxis now.. No, Ash his skin glowing as he started to emit light. The two bounties weren't important as the malice right now

. His gaze flickered to the crowbar and blood on her hand. Hospital, the sick or injured coming for help...needing help as what was left of the flloor above them creaked ominously."Hexxis sleep"


Mara made her way to the room with the shouting, who else was going to go "she has a malice!" Already dread was growing in the pit of her stomach as she opened the door, catching only the glimpse of light as the outline of two bodies disappeared."s**t" she growled.

Tri took a few steps forward and caught her, pulling her in closely with a sigh. That was close, the malice running around could be one of the absolute worse things that could happen.

The sound of heavy footsteps made him raise his head only to catch the black armor that Mara wore with a sigh of relief. "Mara w- Guh...." his eyes widen in alarm as pain lanced through his abdomen forcing him to double over and even pushed him back a step. For the first few seconds he barely felt anything before nerves started firing and the wash of pain followed. "Malice..." he shoved Hexxis away, noticing the rebar sticking out from between his rib cage and hip all the way through to the other side. Normally the hit would have push him back instead of piercing but with Hexxis's strength and speed...



"Mara .. out" he gasped as he held the rebar with one hand, fear and pain making his wings tremble even as he flare them out protectively as he finally lost control of his aura. Light emitted from his skin and extending turning the area between him and Hexxis/ash opaque, and freezing cold with a hint of solidarity. (Cold Light: Defense)

Mara froze staring at the piece of metal that stuck out of Tri's back and the clothing that were quickly being saturated by blood. A cold more logical part of her brain went //dead..... // as both fear and cold hit her. She clenched her teeth even as she was forced to back up more than a few steps. Idiot... idiot idiot!! Hearing the screams of people as the dreaded sense of that aura was literally the last straw before they panicked. Clenching her teeth she shool her head and lowered it pushing toward them again as if she was pushing against something the whole way. //dead... dead. he won't survive from that wound. need to focus on those who can........ damn it! stupid of her to bring the Malice// memories sprang up of the small solemn face meta who watched her from the edge of her bed, who brought her coffee or cuddled on her lap during a movie. Of the teen then adult she had learned to eventually depend on...maybe a bit to much....of the reason she had changed her mind..even the program she was in charge of entirely.

Gold like eyes narrowed as her armor gained a bit of frost and tried to compensate by closing ports and activating the oxygen system built in..to gain some heat that way.

Tri blinked in faint confusion then pain as his powers suddenly backlashed into him, dispersing leaving only cold hair and a faint hints of ice. He gasp softly his throat tensing as he tried not to cry out, not give the malice any more energy as he sank down to his knees feeling both light headed as he tried to concentrate... that was light... shadow... teleport her outside if he could manage to concentrate long enough.

Silver eyes gaze up full of pain as the shadows in the room twitches and milled but did nothing more. He lifted his hand and attempted to pushed her away again but stopped, the yell...the blue eye it wasn't the malice. She did something....he could only see how she went from energetic to exhausted before moving to him. He reached out and gently rest his hand on her head... his own sticky with blood. "Not ..your fault" knowing that was what the malice will feed on... what she will blame herself with. At least maybe it won't if he said it now..... what was he saying? slowly he slumped to the side just as Mara reached them.

Mara finally reached them, he teeth felt like they were welded with one another as she came up to them, not knowing why Tri has stop his barrier and feared the worse but her suit was not suited for the cold it seem. Something to fix.

Seeing them... she moved to Hexxis and kicked her away from Tri with all her might before kneeling by Tri watching the girl. He was still breathing... good.... bad.... good. #(title), We have Ree here # ...Ree.. he could heal...he could.....not heal this. Voices in the floors above her kept yelling, affected by the aura ..unable to leave. Have Ree heal or hold up the level until they can evacuate the upper floors? This was a hospital... but they wouldn't be open to helping a meta right now maybe... not that she would trust anyone with a scapul near Tri right now. #Bring him to the second floor. Have (name and name) come and take Tri, serious injury. Warn ahead, metal bar through the chest .... need someone who won't freak out just by looking at him. Also bring my case. Any sign on Zaku or his accomplice?#

#Acknowledged and none. Everyone is helping get the people out...we can't access the upper floors easily...# Marai looked up as a piece of of sheetrock fell in the hallway. #That is why Ree is here. Do -not- mention Tri and leave some people keeping an eye out for any of the EE members but everyone else help get the patients out. # she said quietly as sirens could be heard in the distance and put her hand to her face before siding it down and resting it against Tri's cheek since he was unconscious to protest. Getting up she moved to Hexxis and nudges her with her armored foot, tempted to kick her again but resisting the urge. Instead she leaned down and hooked the chains together, the bag they were bringing up will allow her to activate the inhibitors.




::a few hours later::

Mara looked at Ree, he was biting down on his sleeve as his forefinger and thumb pinched the bridge of his nose, there was even dried and fresh blood on some of his finger and teeth marks on the back of his hand. Blankets were draped over most of him as he sat in a wheelchair slumped to one side, but even then the ethereal feathers of his head poked out form under the blanket itself. A loose black cloth was held tightly in his grip and a staff laid across his lap, both items were glowing softly as above them literal bits of cement and sheetrock were being held in place some even floating(Light artifacts: Lvl 9 telekinesis) .

She said nothing not daring to break his concentration because that would end the lives of quite a few above them..including themselves. She was here to keep an eye on him as those brave few pulled out the people in the above levels. These were the times that metas impressed her... more so when she seen them grow up, knew their faults their strengths.. likes, dislikes...so similar to humans and even other non-humans other than the immense potential for danger they possessed.. but also for good.

".....ugh" Ree said softly, pulling away then biting the sid eof his finger, his sharp canine teeth breaking the skin with ease but it didn't look like he noticed just trying to keep awake.

Mara shivered and looked up toward the ceiling as thing started shaking then steadied. #Hurry # she muttered until the last footsteps cleared and she was given the go ahead. moving behind Ree she wheeled him out untl they were the last people out. "You're done Ree..... let go" she said quietly as the staff and cloth disappeared and he slumped completely to the side nearly falling out as behind them three levels crashed down to the bottom two destroying the hospital. Damn EE.....Hexxis....Malices. Reaching down she pulled him back against the back of the wheelchair and adjusted the blankets as people watched and stare at the hospital. She passed him over to one of her people as she went to deal with the whole entire mess and see if she still had a job. At least Tri was still in surgery ...and Hexxis was locked up in her room. No sign of Zaku or any of the other members, but they got information and they had Andy, no human or non-human deaths... now if it was enough to excuse property damage and all the equipment inside.
