Thankfully it wasn't Lace's first time in the mirrorspace and Mintaka was kind enough to explain the space well.

She curled up against Remarque, almost going limp in his arms. "Mirrorspace is interesting." The kitten murmured.

"A..Are you okay, Mi-Hi?"

Mi-Hi had followed after Remarque as he walked with the kitten who she had mentally dubbed Miss Kitten, in absence of a name.

"I'd like that" she said with a smile, in between trying to take as much of her surroundings as possible in wide-eyed fascination and still follow after Remarque towards the doorway he had nodded towards.

The shadowed doorway and whatever lay beyond would have perhaps made her nervous had she been here on her own - especially as it was in direct contrast to the otherwise brightness of mirrorspace - well at least to the part that she was walking across.

But Mi-Hi wasn't on her own - she was with Miss Kitten who was a small cutie and with a Prince who (in the small period of time since meeting) had been friendly and kind.

And well this was a lot more exciting than the other times when she had made her way home from pottery class - hundreds of times more exciting in fact.

She wasn't sure what she was expecting to lie beyond the door, which had turned out to be open, however it hadn't been a throne room and for a moment Mi-Hi found herself hesitating at the doorway as she wondered if it was really okay for her to step in.

But Remarque was walking forward with Miss Kitten still in his arms and so she followed after, as her green eyes looked towards the indicated mirror and at the rippling darkness.

She took a few steps forward before turning, green eyes looking towards the Remarque and the kitten in his arms as she asked but a single question "Will you and Miss Kitten be here still after..." for a moment she hesitated and then finally settled on repeating herself - the single word a question "After?"

Remarque nodded. "I'll be here. I'm not going to abandon you, either."

He figured she'd have questions after she came out, and it would have been irresponsible to let her loose on the world without giving any sort of reasoning or explanation. Besides all of that, Mirrorspace had a way of kicking Basic Dark Mirror Senshi out when they didn't have someone to accompany them, and he wasn't going to let her awaken with all those new powers just so she could wind up spat out on some other side of the city, no shards, no communicator—and no understanding of what she was supposed to be doing.

He made sure to give Lace all the space she needed; if he could have let the cat go through the mirror with Mi-Hi for comfort, he would have. But this was a tried and proven method, and one he had never doubted.
