They were certainly beautiful, vintage styled magnum revolvers. They were a bit heavy, but Miki didn't even notice, she used to hold heavier things during martial arts training. She held the grip a bit more tightly as she placed her index finger in the trigger and with the proper stance to shoot, she spun him a bit, making around 7 spins with each gun, in an alternate fashion.
She then, aimed them at the slackers inside the kitchen. They gave a girly shriek and one turned into a weapon too. Those two were partners from DWMA, but had already graduated. The weapon girl was named Fae, she was petite and had long hair, her weapon form was of a scimitar. The meister was a pretty normal girl, which simply loved anime and music, she was also the owner. "Pew pew~. Hand over all the noms, me is hungry, rawrz." She said, with a kawaii voice.

It was strange being held by a young girl. Simon was used to brutes who paid him money for odd
jobs. He didn't want to admit but he was satisfied with her handling....that was until she spun
him around several times. His whole world spun and he became nauseous, wanting to throw up.
"O-Oi! Careful- oh god I'm going to barf." The pistols looked a little green.
"And don't threaten people, you idiot." Unless it was an enemy, there was no need to mess
around.

"I'm sorry, mister Simon, I got too excited. You are so hard, because you are made of metal and iron, reinforced with other materials, and so big, because the magnum is one of the biggest guns in the revolver class, depending on the type of ammo used." She said, faking a blush and teasing him a bit more. "By the way, how do you reload? Can I just go crazy and shoot you like there is no end or do you have, like, a reload period?" She looked at him, she moved him fast to the right, making the cylinder with the bullets appear. "6 bullets, no chance to do the last bullet in barrel intimidating, uh." She thought, moving him back to the left, hiding the cylinder. "Do you have any cool powers? Like going full auto, or a tracker shot, it would be amazing if I could track my targets."

She certainly like to throw him around and he could barely keep up with her sudden movements,
he was on the verge of puking bullets. "Phrasing! - and I can reload myself when my bullets
are spent." He grunted. Maybe this was a bad idea, she was going to be the death of him. That
or run him so rugged he wouldn't have time to relax. "I can curve my bullets, helps with
escaping enemies - Not that you should try!" He was worried she was going to test fire
him on some poor guy.

Wink wink, nudge nudge." She said, chuckling a little. "Ok, I'll stop now. We need to go get the paperwork done, so, give me your phone too, mine is 02xxxxxxxx" She took her phone out of her apron's pocket, it was bright pink with sparklies, this was a joke so mean that it deeply wounded a girl's heart 5 years ago. "You are also free to come over anytime, the first black coffee is free. And by first, I mean the one I make at 6AM, for the three of us." She said, holding her phone by a little bunny phone strap that was in her phone and smiling mischievously.

Simon formed back into a human and had to catch himself, he was still getting a head spin from her antics. "Hold on a minute I never agreed-" It was too late, she was adamant that they were going to be partners and it was too early in morning for this and he hadn't even got to touch his coffee. There was no point arguing, she was clearly the boss in their now partnership "Yeah yeah, mines 0278xxxxx" He was turned off by her phone, it was so bright and sparkly, how could someone stand looking at that. His on the other was black and sleek, not eye blinding. "Wait 6...in the morning?!" Simon wanted to cry, run and curl up into a ball. He could barely manage waking up in time for class let alone sunrise. He was in for a whole world of hurt from in on out.

"Is there anything bothering you, partner? Maybe you wanna ask me something? Also, the coffee is probably cold now." She said, hiding her phone again and going behind counter. The owner took her and scratched her head for pointing guns in the shop. They let go and Miki went to attend to another costumer, she used her usual goofy personality to deal with all the costumers, they seemed to love it.

Simon groaned and shook his head. "No questions, kid" He just wanted to get out of there and back home where he could relax. He looked down at his coffee which was now probably ice cold. 'so much for that' He grabbed his book and headed to the door. "Cya tomorrow....maybe" And with that, he disappeared onto the street.

Saturday had just left us, that last day, and finally we reached the Sunday. As a matter of fact, Miki Yuri didn't exactly hate any of those days. She enjoyed working in Café con Leche greatly, even if things were a bit weird here and there. Since there is no school in either of those days, she could give it all her attention. She went towards the front door. It was locked. The sky was still a grayed out red, the church bells rang 6 AM. She used her slightly discolored key to open the door and went in the unlit shop. That day was bound to be a bit heavier than usual. Apparently she was the first one today. She didn't bother with turning in the lights and opened the curtains, picking up the mop. Now with the mop in hands, she went to the nearest bucket and filled it with some water and started cleaning. The water that day was a bit muddy, maybe she should have another talk with their plumber yet again. It wouldn't be until 6:40 until Fae got there, waving a good morning and going to get everything ready in the kitchen. After done with the cleaning, Miki got the three table-chair sets and placed them outside, in a small, fenced area. The fences were white colored, 30 cm tiny things that didn't protect anyone, but told everyone "this is our area". After setting it up nicely, the three wooden tables looked perfect in the morning light, the mahogany shone an almost melancholic tone, adding to that morning. It was already slightly bright outside, at 7:20, when the owner came in, Luka was her name. She also waved Miki a good morning and entered the shop. The door opened again and a broom was being held out by Fae. Miki took it and thanked her kindly, beginning to clean the outside area too. After it was done, she brushed the sweat from her face and placed the broom near the door. Today was supposed to be the day they delivered those plums and berries, at 8, they should get here. At the side, there were some boxes, saying "take one", in these boxes had many little paper cranes, made for a certain event in the shop, they made so many that they had to give it to people. The sun finally shone bright at 7:50, colors were being revived as it heated up the area, it should be a colorful day, that day. Miki figured she should start work by singing something, and opted for one of her favorite Vocaloids. LUVORATORRRRRY!'s lyrics and rhythm came to mind and she started slightly moving to left and right as she sang it, while opened the awning, a big, slightly whitened green thing. She took the broom inside and picked up the mop and bucket and finally brought it all to the tools closet. She walked over to the counter as one of her first costumers came. "Irashaimase!" She said, with a smile, using a frilly dress that had a frilly apron, with a black and white gloves. ▁ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▁

Amalie woke up that morning with little to no energy. She slept in almost every morning the past few weeks, so when it was time for her to finally adjust to a normal sleep schedule, her mood dropped. She was groggy and tired and wanted nothing to do with the world that day. But, there was one thing to look forward to...her first day at the DWMA. Amalie was fairly new to the area, and the adventure ahead of her was the only motivation she had. She was ready to finally find a partner and train as a real weapon. She was ready to make the most out of her life. Soon, all would begin.
Amalie decided some coffee might help with her energy problem. She left her small apartment and decided to head for a small cafe she heard about through passing during her short time in the city. As she walked the streets, she always noted how different they were than back home in France. The people acted differently, and the setup of the city was so different. Getting used to her new environment would prove to be difficult, but of course, it would probably be the least of her worries.
Amalie entered the small cafe, and smiled as the fresh coffee aroma filled her senses. Brushing her hair behind her face, the scar on her face became slightly more visible for a moment. She walked up to the counter to find a young green-haired woman who seemed to have more than enough energy to spare. Amalie smiled at the girl. "Bonjour. May I have a medium coffee, black?"Her accent was thick, but fairly easy to understand. It was only when she spoke fast that people had trouble understanding her.

The bell rang again, another costumer came in, it was a cute girl with white hair, she was what most Japanese boys would call a hottie or something like that. But Miki didn't swing that way, not yet at least, after 5 dates, she would decide. "Bienvenue. Medium black coffee, right? Ok, s'il vous plait, attendez une seconde. Also, sorry if I said anything wrong, I lack talent in the art of speaking other languages, Japanese and English is already quite a challenge." She said, moving over to the counter to triturate the beans. After all done, she placed the hot water on the stove and got her petite notebook from behind the counter and her black and white pen. "May I have your name, please, so we can call you when it's ready? Names like That Cutie Pie Over There aren't allowed anymore, since a problem costumer came up some time ago, sorry." She held the pen near the notebook, ready to write. All her concentration was put in that moment, this would decide her future as a good order writer, if only she could get her name right...

Amalie smiled when the girl spoke French back to her. It made her incredibly happy to hear her native tongue, even if it had a few bumps. Her English was far from perfect, so who was she to judge someone else's linguistic struggle? It was then that the girl asked for her name. "Of course. My name is Amalie. I'm sure it'll fit on the cup better than "That Cute Pie" anyway."She pronounced her name slowly, to allow the girl plenty of time to write it down. Amalie laughed lightly, smiling as the girl made a joke. Of course, she didn't understand the joke because the phrase "Cutie Pie" made no sense to her. Nonetheless, this girl was amusing."And do not worry, Tu parles bien le français."This girl was definitely unusual, but sweet. Perhaps Amalie could find a friend in her. This thought made her very happy, because so far she spent most of her days alone. She believed that each new day brought new opportunity, and a chance to make something of her life.

Capital A. M. A. L. I. E. Amalie was now written, it was a undeniable victory to Miki that day, 100% perfectly written. But her calligraphy sucked, though. "Oh, it actually did, that's so nice. Would you like to stick by the counter and talk a little? I am actually waiting for a freeloader that still calls himself a man." She said, laughing lightly and fanning herself with her hand, a Japanese thing that no one else quite got. "Are you from France? May I ask why you are so far from home?" Miki moved the hot water to the counter, together wit the beans and started making her coffee there, it was like a piece of art was being painted, complete focus went into making that coffee, as is in any other coffee she made. Good training, good teachers, good students, good results.

Amalie smiled and brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. When the girl offered her a conversation, Amalie nodded and accepted the offer. "That would be very lovely, thank you!"She had no idea what exactly a 'Freeloader' was, but figured she'd learn once the stranger showed up.
Amalie made her way around the counter. She stood with her arms horizontally on the table. She watched the girl make her coffee. The way she prepared it was an art form. The care and precision going into a single cup of coffee was beyond her. She was used to hot water and instant powder.
Already the girl was curious about Amalie's history. It made sense, since her accent seemed to stand out in the area."Oui, France is my home. Well, it used to be. Now it's here. I moved here about a month ago to attend the DWMA. I was living with my aunt for a long time, and when I discovered I was a weapon, she told me she wanted to come here. Someday I'll go back. But for now, I stay here."She smiled, keeping most of her upbeat charm when she talked. There was a bit of longing that hindered in her tone, which was inevitable. France was her home, yes, but with it came despair from her childhood. It was bittersweet. Being on her own got lonely at times, sure, but at least she had the opportunity to finally move on from all that happened."And you? Are you from somewhere else as well?"Amalie smiled again, putting her mind back on the optimistic track.

My name is Miki Yuri, DD-cup, Vocaloid addict, pun lover and also a meister at DWMA in the free hours, when I'm not doing a comedy show at this little cozy shop." She said, finally giving the cup the last touches and handing it to Amalie. "It's hot, so take care." She smiled at Amalie and crooked her neck to the side a little, raising her kawaii counter by 20%, she closed her eyes lightly too, raising it by another 30% and gave a closed mouth giggle together with a finger joining, her kawaii power went over 100%.
