Priscilla Stratford Location: Second floor Action: people watching
It was supposed to be a fun night out.
Priscilla leaned over the railing on the second floor of the nightclub, eyes searching across the dance floor as the glass in her hand gently tilted itself. The drink wasn't anything to write home about - the names were all foreign to her, alcoholic and non alike, but the Pink Lemonade Moonshine had sounded cute. Every option came with some corny celestial name, but the pink aspect of it had naturally caught her eye. Shame the alcohol overpowered the sweetness.
Reaching into her purse, she pulled her pink iPhone out of the side pocket. She had been trying to enjoy herself, but when one is invited out to enjoy the perks of a VIP Lounge of a new club, one expects the invitee to actually be present.
Using the thumb of her free hand, she shot off an impatient text to her companion.

A few moments later, the bedazzled iPhone buzzed back, the screen lighting up.
[Text from KittyKat: Sorry, got caught in traffic. Omw]
Sighing, she muttered softly, "You'd better be" before sending a follow-up text to let her friend know that she'd already made herself comfortable inside the building.
Another sip on her less-than-stellar drink and her eyes returned to watching the couples and groups getting their dance groove on below. Maybe if she was lucky, she'd find a handsome guy or two that could appreciate the slinky black dress she'd picked out for such an occasion.

Chase Black Location: Inside XS, near the bar Action: Having a drink and talking to Auguste
There were a lot of things he could say dancing on the tip of his tongue when he looked at Auguste, amber eyes lifting to meet blue. "Yeah, I'm glad too," he said quietly, almost inaudible beneath the beat of the music that floated through the club. Chase wasn't really one for social interaction, he'd always had more pressing priorities but he didn't seem to mind too much when it came in the form of a lithe dancer, or any of his budding war pups. (Except Archer, he had to watch that one.)
"I don't get dancing." He stated, clearing his throat and looking back out to the dance floor. He did not flush the way Auguste did, the churn of emotions still to muted to rise to the surface, but he didn't miss the blush that settled beneath the freckles Chase thought of mapping. "Oh," he glanced at his button up with the rolled up sleeves and his dark jeans. He'd even thrown on a vest, because Chase only knew how to dress business or business casual for the most part.
Unless it was at his store, then it was jeans and a v-neck because it was great for the slew of customers they got. Damned hipsters. "I'm sure there are better things to look at," he said with a shrug as he drained the contents of his drink, twisting so their shoulders brushed when he set the glass down. Chase glanced over his shoulder at Auguste with a look that was relatively unreadable but the implied you was there all the same. "I don't mind though, having you as company." His gaze flicked down to the wine that was nearing empty.
"Let me buy you a drink?" He asked with a cocked brow, followed by a beat and, "I'd hope you prefer them otherwise how would I get to keep you?"

Fiona Location: Just Outside XS Action: Grabbing Khaleel's hand, finding Cordy and her friend!
Fiona tucked a loose lock of hair behind her ear as she reached for Khaleel's hand, knowing his tendency to wander and end up lost. "Thanks, it only took me like two hours to decide what to wear," she laughed squeezing his hand. It was the typical dilemma of a woman who owned too many clothes because she liked to be relatively fashionable.
"Yup and you get to dance with a gaggle of girls," Fiona stated, practically beaming at her taller companion as she pushed through the crowd to find Cordelia and the woman she was with.
"Cordelia!" She chirped, waving as she hurried over.

Auguste de Saint-Meran Location: Inside XS, near the bar Action: Having a drink and talking to Chase
He almost didn't hear the initial comment, but Auguste was standing close enough to Chase that the quietly spoken words managed to reach him, however soft they were. He felt his expression soften with pleasure, Auguste's eyes shifting away, biting his lip against the silly happiness he felt.
"Oh!" he said now, and he turned, his eyes alight with the sort of radiant delight that always emanated from him when speaking of his favorite thing. "Dancing is wonderful," said Auguste. "I mean, not necessarily what they're doing," he added with a laugh, gesturing at the crowds, "Though that can be fun too. But dancing is an incredible thing. It just - it lets you be whoever you want to be, it's wonderfully liberating and free."
He could have gone on about it, but he clamped his mouth shut, trying not to over speak, slightly embarrassed at his rambling - though considering that his eyes had drifted once more to Chase's vest, the rolled up sleeves that exposed his forearms.
That was not helping. Neither was the comment. "Nonsense," said Auguste, and laughed. "You're plenty to look at."
He opened his mouth and then shut it again, and Cosmos what was wrong with him, his face kept heating further at everything Chase was saying. Auguste pushed aside the stupid fluttering in his stomach and said, "I wouldn't mind another drink. And don't worry, I'm not going anywhere fast."
Cordelia Location: Outside XS -> Soon to be Inside XS Action: Dragging everyone up to the bouncer and heading inside.
"I don't think it's that kind of club, Bindhi." Cordelia managed a wry grin in the blonde's direction, giving her a gentle, friendly nudge just as she caught sight of Fiona.
"My friends are actually right there -- Fiona!" She waved in return as the ginger joined them, Khaleel in tow. "Great! Now that we're all here we can head inside-- Bindhi, this is Fiona and Khaleel. Fi, Khaleel, this is Bindhi. She's good people." The raven haired woman was smiling brightly for once as she herded her friends up to the front of the line so that they could check in with the bouncer, showing their ID cards at the door.
"I'm glad all of you could make it."

Abigail Doyle Location: Inside XS -> On the dance floor! Action: Looking forward to great music and scanning the dance floor for someone to dance with!
Abigail had dressed up that evening for a night out, receiving VIP access notice through an app that she had signed up for to stay in the loop on Destiny City's night life. She'd downloaded it after New Years and hadn't had an regrets, especially not when it had gone off that night.
After snagging a bottle of water from the bar she'd made her way out to the dance floor. The bottle fit snugly into one of the pockets of her vest and managed to stay in place as she brushed her way through people. She was very much looking forward to the guest DJ that was lined up for the night -- All she needed was someone to dance with, really. That couldn't be too hard to find, right?
Joanna grinned when the new guest DJ took up the station and started to switch up the music, opening her eyes briefly so she could look at the new comer. She gave a cheer and continued to dance, changing her tempo to match the new beat and closing her eyes again so she can just focus on the music and the movements. As she was dancing however she accidentally bumped into another woman who had been making her way around. "Oh! I'm very sorry about that. Are you alright?" The teen was quick to apologize as she opened her eyes again.

Chase Black Location: Inside XS, near the bar Action: Having a drink and talking to Auguste
"Never been much of a dancer," Chase said shrugging as he turned to face the bar, flagging down the bartender for drinks. The man acknowledged him, but signaled it would be a minute. The club was beginning to fill in with people and a line was forming along the bar. "There are plenty of ways to just exist," he countered immediately thinking of Hermes and the way racing felt like freedom. Chase did not, however, offer the information as an alternative.
His motorcycle was still something too private to share with Auguste.
Katrina knew and so did Regan but they were different. Regan was - she was Regan and motorcycles were how he'd met Katrina.
Now was the time, but perhaps another day.
"I could say the same about you," Chase replied immediately when Auguste complimented him, even going so far to give the blue-eyed boy a once over, grinning when amber eyes met blue again. The bartender finally slid over to them and pulled Chase's attention away.
"Whiskey sour, let's go with gentlemen's jack and whatever my lovely companion would like."

Ah, the dance floor. With the dance floor beginning to pick up, on this floor at least, Kes grinned, bowing to her audiance as she worked, keeping her Queue loaded before gently putting the microphone near her lips, beaming.
"Good evening folks, welcome to a night you won't regret~ I'm Kestrel DeLacey and I'll be your DJ this evening. Hope you all are ready for a range because tonight we're going to dance on the lines between light and darkness, old and new, so make sure your shoes are comfortable, kittens, because we're in for a good, long haul~"
She moved the mic again as she queued up some VNV Nation - a fair mix of electronic and dark, she felt, and she hummed, rummaging.
Rik took a sip from his glass, finishing off the last of the neon blue liquid as he leaned against the railing overlooking the dance floor. It was the second night in a row that Rikard Colby had been at the night club, watching the people as they moved, silently judging them. How many of the players on the board tonight were just ordinary people? How many of them weren't? How many of them were senshi? Knights?
He shifted away from the rail, setting his glass down on an empty table so that he could pull out his phone to send a text message.
[Text to Reed: More people here tonight than last. Should be fun. Next communication will be through crystals. Stand by. ]
Just as he was putting his phone away he lightly bumped elbows with a pink haired young woman. He paused, glancing at her with an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that."

"Whoop! Careful there." Abi smiled brightly as she reached out to catch the other young woman before they both stumbled, letting go once she was certain that the other was steady.
Generally used to guys bumping into her as an excuse to make an acquaintance it was refreshing to see another blonde girl with a pixie cut instead. "Sounds like we're in for a fun night, don't you think?" She spoke loud enough that she could be heard over the music, still grinning as she got a better look at her new dance partner. "Name's Abi! What's yours?"

The drink jostled in her hand, startling her at the sudden intrusion. Thankfully, her reflexes were barely quick enough to keep her from dropping the glass onto the unaware dancers below. She had a feeling the couple grinding against each other wouldn't appreciate a pink Moonshine shower.
Her head turned around to snap at the offender, but he was quick to apologize, implying he was sincere in his folly.
His looks didn't hurt his case, either.
Shaking her half empty glass, she grinned back at him. "You could always make it up to me with a refill, cutie. I'm Prissy. And you, my clumsy friend, are...?"

Joanna Watson Location: Dancefloor Action: Meeting someone new
She was glad that that the other woman caught them both, having been worried about knocking them over thanks to bumping into her. Joanna could hear the DJ introducing herself and had to give a smile at the other woman calling them kittens but turned her attention back to the other blonde. "Yes it certainly sounds like it." She said, her smile turning into a grin. "Nice to meet you Abi, I'm Joanna. Sorry again for running into you."
fingers flew over her equipment, PVC gloves adjusting switches and flying over the controls expertly, Kes smiling and nodding to the floor as she let her first set play in full. Now - now was the flavor of the evening, but while it was deep and rich, it wasn't entirely void of the life some clubs and such thrived on.
Kes was in her element, nodding to the floor, and once the music played, she was working the controls for light and sound, sending signals and commands as her body moved in the booth to the music. She was glad for the chance to set up before, to ready the evening. Lights changed, glowed; wisps of smoke went by, and Kes danced in place as she rifled for the next set in her music, one eye out in case someone sought requests.
After all, she was here to play, to let others enjoy, relax, and let go of their cares for the evening, and music was what she knew as she merrily set out a small sign inviting requests.
After all, what DJ didn't have a full repitotre?

Rikard Colby Location: Second floor. Action: meeting new people?
"Rik." The grin that he flashed her didn't quite make it the entire way up to his eyes, although maybe that would have been hard to tell with the way the lights were sweeping over the lounge from the dance floor. He didn't have time for distractions tonight, but it was hard to let old habits just suddenly shrivel up and die.
"What were you drinking, Prissy?" A refill was the least he could do considering what he had planned for the establishment that evening. "Do you come here often?"
