 Liath noticed Gwen chasing after slimes and was too distracted to focus on his own slime hunting. He then shook his head he couldn't let her be a distraction. He hadn't seen her since they were freshlings though and he couldn't help but notice how smart she looked. He managed to tear his eyes away and continue his slime hunting.

 Newt hit the ground with a thud and a whoof! of expelled air. He grumbled as the strange creature let out a gurgling noise and hopped away. With a scowl he hopped up and scrambled back up and after the creature, trying to toss his jacket at the slimeball.

 Kyoko was startled by the slimes, but she liked them. They were cute, just like wisps! So, she decided to chase after one to try and capture it! And after tripping through a few bushes to capture the little slime, and after tearing her kimono and earning a few cuts on her legs, Kyoko was successful!

 Gwen's second attempt was with the whole cute trap set up and clearly it was totally ignored by all of the slimes, so maybe she could tempt them with cookies or candy?? She was determined to figure out the slime's weakness. Then she would be happy cuddling her new little friend. She sighed and went to go find some candy and cookies for her next attempt. Gwen looked up and saw Liath and smiled and waved at him, she hadn't seen him in a while. After freshling year, she had gotten a bit distracted by failing science class the first time.

 Hurms, the opening of the pillow case seemed a bit too narrow for what she wanted, as the one she had been stalking bounced off the fabric side held taught between her fingers. Nastara dropped the pillow case and found herself fading to near invisability- something she couldn't yet control entirely......so she stayed where she was hoping that a little slime would happen by and.....HA just so she pushed HARD to become visible and hug the little slime to her chest mid bounce.

Liath decided that he was moving too slow and that chasing after them simply wasn't going to do. So he realized he would need to come up wit ha plan to lure one. What did slimes even like?

Popping visible apparently startled the poor thing as it bounced off her arms high into the air, Nastara ran forward barefoot a few steps hoping to catch it as it came back down.....

Gwen went to put cookies down, but instead slipped in another puddle of slime and skidded right into Liath. "Oh I'm so sorry Liath are you ok??" She asked worried she had hurt him knocking into him. Her glasses were covered in goo so she couldn't see very well, but she knew it was him. Liath had been one of Gwen's first friends when she arrived at the academy. He meant a lot to Gwen, though she wasn't always good at expressing how she felt about him. Anara for some reason Gwen just gushed her feelings, even though Anara didn't seem to believe a single word of what she said.

Liath was busy trying to make a trap for him to even notice Gwen until it was too late, he tried to catch her and steady himself so they didn't fall into the slime. "I'm quite alright are you okay? You uh.. got something on your glasses." He then looked over at her, and was once again admiring her, quickly though while she couldn't see him very well.

The jacket hit a corner and flailed about and missed the slimeball. Scrunching his face up he picks his jacket up and thought over his plan of attack again. Thinking it over as he began his trek again, spotting more of the strange slimeballs about now as he looked for the one he first saw. When the hybrid found it, he grinned ear to ear and balled up his jacket, aiming to throw it again.
Unfortunately for him....he missed. Again.

What the-?! Drossel looked around in shock as dozens of gooey creatures bounced around at his feet. Where had all of these things come from? A sudden tug at his leg caused him to look down, and he spotted one of the slimy creatures busily chewing a hole in his leggings, where he had splattered a bit of his special paints on them just minutes ago; he had just been off to his room to put on a fresh pair. "Why you little-!" He couldn't stiflea laugh as he whipped off his hat and batted it at the creature, which then took off with an equally funny squishing sound. "Hey, come back here!" he called out as he gave chase, sweeping his top hat in front of him to try and scoop the creature up.

While he was talking to Gwen he felt something trip on his foot looking down he quickly scooped the slime up in his arm. Then looking at Gwen he almost smiled, well as close as Liath came to smiling. "He's a little cutie, and look at those ears they look like mine. Well uh.. here" He held it out to to Gwen gently. "To remind you of me, and well I couldn't have caught it with out you. You're some kind of good luck charm. Quickly before it tries to run off again!" He waited for Gwen to take it.

  Hailey was so all over this slimes invading! They were so freaking cute and she saw one that she just couldn't resist! It looked like Malachi and she wanted it! Tossing her hair up in a messy bun -- or attempt at one such thing! -- she then went after the little critter with gusto! Wasn't long before she had it in her arms and beaming a huge grin! "You are too damn cute! Oh my gosh!" and she just did her best to ignore the fact that she was getting slimed while holding one Malachi had followed Hailey's lead in trying to help with the invasion, but to no avail! He was super clumsy and just falling all over himself like a fool while he tried to catch one of the little things.

Annika could do more then let out quiet, irritated grumbles and growls as she stomped around, chasing after the bouncing slimes that passed her by.
This is all Sirius' fault... she thought.

Hurms, Nastara paused in vexation.....maybe trying to run around collecting one wasn't the right idea...she looked around at all the milling, running, confusing beings......and she stopped where she was, near a doorway and just stayed still, Theorizing that if everyone else was moving but she was still that there would be a better chance of catching one.
