Nasir gave Sunny another squeeze, another warm friendly hug. "No, you can't." He sighed, kicking at the sand a bit. It was something he had realized not that long ago and it was a hard realization. Not that it really meant much for his life but it did make his heart ache a little bit to know there just were some people that could not be helped.

He was silent a moment before his fingers started to poke at Sunny's side. "How about we drink these sodas before they get too warm?" he asked. "... then I'll tell you about the how there's a detective that is apparently allergic to my friend Wil?"

As he was certain that would lift up her mood. Sunny seemed sad enough without having to actually be sad so Nasir would try and cheer her up.

"I suppose that's to be my fate since I tickled you to death." Nasir laughed, leaning to pluck up her soda and set it beside his own in the sand. His fingers flicked and wiggled at her.

"... but it's my fate, which I suppose is a thing." A hand was offered to pull her back up. "Also I've got a box of pastries for you." His head tilted towards the bag as he thought about it. "Those you can have later." Obviously.

"Anytime, Sunny." Nasir smiled, leaning for the bag of goodies and setting it on the other side of her. He was dusting sand off the top of his legs, blinking at the question and then nodding.

"Of course." The young man was pushing himself up. "In fact, I think Borr's supposed to be getting in Mexican coke cola? Which are supposed to taste better? I'll bring a couple of those by when he gets them in. We can taste test." It would be in the next couple weeks too but Sunny always did seem to like soda but he never saw her eating any of the pastries or snacks he bought. He was slapping at his legs, purposely making sure to not get sand on her.

He just chuckled at the tongue sticking out. "Hey, I'm just repeating what I heard. Never had it myself."

Nasir was not expecting that, not expecting Sunny to visit him. He was obviously surprised but then it turned into a rather large, rather bright smile. It was like he was getting a present from someone. "I'll hold you to that then!" Leaning, he picked up the bag of pastries and then set it next to Sunny before picking up his own bottle of soda. "... so that means I'll see you soon."

Then, with a quick crouch, he was giving her a one armed squeeze in goodbye. Nasir never did goodbyes but he did do hugs and then he was leaving with one last wave over his shoulder.
