Laz chewed the incide of her lip for a moment, she felt guilty that Shah seemed to think that she was insisting that the rak meet her family. That was not Laz's intention although she was rather excited at the idea. "If you end up feeling uncomfortable at any point just let me know and we'll leave okay?" She didn't want Shah to feel like she had to go or stay, and hoped that it would help. "I live over this way" She said, waiting a moment before she started to lead Shah to her house.

Softening her smile, which may have become somewhat rigid as she'd glanced behind her, she gave a wordless nod and shifted the weight of the bundle in her arms. "That sounds fine by me." If anything, the demon felt more awkward suggesting Laz's parents might be any sort other than what she seemed to think; familial bonds ran deep, after all. Even she had moments where she missed hers dearly.
As Laz motioned elsewhere, Shahrazhad moved to set Aisha back in her wrappings before quickening her pace to catch up. "Shall I take her back?" she questioned, her eyes looking down to Ra'abia and then back up again.

Laz weaved though the city streets with a grace that came with years of spending her life in crowds. The angel made sure that she was keeping a pace that Shah could keep up with, so she wouldn't accidentally loose the other pae as she headed home. "hm?" Laz was pulled out of her thoughts about home, and how everyone would react to the children, No doubt they'd be surprised. When Shah called out to her.
"If you would like." Ra'abia had fallen back asleep and was snuggled safely in Laz's arm. She smiled softly at her daughter, she loved holding her, but maybe her sleeping the the wrappings would be a better idea. At least until they got out of the busy city.

Owing to her own enhanced dexterity, Shah followed Laz with ease through the crowded streets without issue. It didn't take long for her to make up the distance between them. "I thought it might make movement easier." she commented with another nod as she reached forward to take the child back. After a few moment and with motions that seemed already quite natural, the bundle was once again safely wrapped and strapped to her back.
Laughing lightly at Laz's face that easily betrayed her wanting to keep holding the baby, the demon reached forward to give a light tap to her nose. "I can return her when we arrive." There was a slight playfulness to her tone, and given the way her tail flicked behind her, she seemed to be enjoying such teasing.

Laz nodded, it would be easier to move without the child in her arms, but at the same time she loved holding her. Once again she was impressed by how quickly and naturally Shah moved when putting the children back in their wraps.
Clearly Shah had noticed the look of disappointment on her face when the demon had taken the baby. Since Saha laughed a bit and proceeded to boop Laz on the nose. The action drew a blush from the angel who stuttered a bit. "S-sounds good." Despite her slight embarrassment, Laz was glad to see that Shah seemed to be relaxing as the Rak was acting rather playful.

A satisfied smile came across the feline's features as she nearly purred in contentment with Laz's reaction. Simply adorable. Adjusting the back sack once more, she motioned ahead with a simple, "After you."
As she followed behind, she felt herself wondering that perhaps this situation wasn't so bad after all
