Somehow they made it in. Relieved Talisia finally let out the light laughter she had been holding back, "So far so good." It was nice having Ujana with her despite their obvious odd ball appearances. Who else could have just snapped a lock like that? Talisia was rather thankful the girl was on her side and not vice versa.
As Ujana led the way Talisia hesitated, "What if he really wants to be here?" The question escaped her before she could stop it. Was this really something that Callum chose to do so willingly? It almost broke her heart to think about it. But what sort of friend would leave him here? Closing her eyes Talisia shook her head to chase away the doubts, "Let's go then!" She would find him and talk him out of this!
If he was even here...
As they walked up the stairs Talisia found herself in awe of the luxuries. She had a home like this once and she remembered exactly how much the elegant decor had worked to hide. No matter how much the area gleamed with finery, it didn't hide the taint inside. However, the crowd of people and the perfumed smoke lingering in the air could definitely hide her friend.
"What do we do?" She found herself asking before darting to hide out of the way of a wandering servant, "Even if we barge in it's going to be hard to locate him in there."

Ujana pulled up short and gave Talisia a look that may as well have said 'you care about that now?' If she had thought about just leaving him here before getting wrapped up in all of this then Ujana wouldn't be breaking and entering! Not that she minded, granted, it was kind of fun, but still!
Too late now.
She kept herself pressed against the polished stone walls, attempting to blend in with the potted flora surrounding the edges of the space. Ujana had to give it to them; the Collector's had style. Their guests were drinking from crystal glasses with servants draped in white refilling their plates almost as soon as they'd emptied them. The servants, of course, being some of their 'specimens'; from her hiding space Ujana could make out a few simple water folk, though most were hybrids of some sort.
"We need to ask someone. Blend...do you like white?" Ujana turned to look at Talisia, her nose curled up in thought. They had perfectly good angle to exploit; so why not?

Talisia almost rolled her eyes. Yes, yes I know. It was just that standing in such a palace made her determination waver. It was too reminiscent of a place that had locked her away long ago and her heart had froze. Only for a second, but that second had been enough to send shivers down her spine and into her spirit.
Her lip pursed into a line of disgust as she watched how some of the nobles were 'examining' their servants. She hated being scorned for being a hybrid, but something about this experience was far more disturbing. At Ujana's question Talisia's frown grew, "You really think..." Sighing, the girl shook her head. "If it's the only way, but I swear if anyone thinks they are going to be touching me then they won't have a hand to reach with anymore."
But where could she?
Noticing a train that had been abandoned, or more likely pulled away, from a male 'servant' the girl darted forward to grab it before slipping back against the wall. Wrinkling her nose in distaste at the lingering scents of others and perfume Talisia slipped the thin, dressy outfit over her own. Thankfully her own scarce clothing wasn't much to ruin the way the other fabrics fell, but there was a slight shadow here and there where the dark blue did stand out. "You think that blends enough?" It better be because she did not plan on wearing the dress alone...there was no way! Just the thought of how much would be even more revealed made her cheeks flush.
No, no, and no!
But the question was how did they even begin? Did she just act like a servant and begin walking up? Or....her fingers lingering over the whip gently tucked against her side the girl glanced around for someone who seemed to be in power. Perhaps just 'whipping' it out to get answers might not be the best idea in a crowd, but she still pondered it.

"Don't worry sweet cheeks, if anyone touches you I'll be sticking those fingers were the sun don't shine." Talisia could cut it off and she'd just be there to ram it up into the dark hole. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that, though. They didn't need to be here for just; just long enough to find out where this guy was, and then bounce out.
Ujana looked at Talisia critically, staring far longer than what was polite at her bosom and lower bits. Hopefully if someone got a little too into her they would just think she had darker blue skin on her unmentionables or that she had a lot of hair. "It's fine. Just stop acting so stiff; you've got hips, use them." Looking out over the crowd, Ujana scanned for a familiar face, any face, and stopped abruptly. She reached out to snatch Talisia's hand, and pointed through the shrubbery to a younger Oban man. "That's the Collector's son, Fervos. He's never here when they bring in new stock, so he won't worry if he doesn't recognize you. You should start with him." In truth, Ujana was less worried about the main family than their guests when it came to Talisia's safety. They may have been manipulative SOB's, but at least they treated their 'servants' well.
Too bad she didn't know if Fervos was into men or woman. If he wasn't into getting pricked then it wouldn't be likely that he knew where Callum even was.

Talisia smirked, "Sounds like a plan then." She could already imagine the leaf girl pinning down some perpetrator on the floor. The image was enough to help loosen some of the stiffness from her limbs. What was she doing here? Still, the girl studied other servants and how some especially moved caught her eye. She could easily adapt those steps...
As she realized Ujana was intently studying her, Talisia flushed. "Oh, forget it." Ripping the dress back off over her head the hybrid just held it in her arms over arms to hide her whip, "I'm obviously new and don't know how to wear this. That'll work." She had seen how others worked their 'charms' before and so the girl was preparing her mask for this occasion, "Clear out that side room, Ujana. I'll be there in a bit with the young master." Taking a step forward, the girl hesitated and looked back towards her comrade. "Don't let anyone know about this if you do happen to see anything?" She was certain the girl would at least watch some of this embarrassing moment.
Sighing, the hybrid closed her eyes. The next moment she had her head held high as if she rightly belonged here and her steps were of one who had done her rounds a few times. Hips swaying with ease, the slender female smiled towards Fervos as she made her way towards him. Despite the lewd stares she didn't falter, but in the back of her mind she noted that next time she was in the market a new outfit was in order.
"Forgive me, milord." Speaking ever so softly and slowly, Talisia appeared as if she was between a drugged state and reality. Also as she spoke Talisia lowered her gaze, her long lashes gently touching her high cheekbones. "I was newly allowed inside here for some promised fun, but they left before they could assist me with my dress~" Her bi-colored gaze slowly looked over him and as she reached his face she smiled as any perfect pet would do, "I couldn't stand waiting and so I decided to come on up. Would you care to help me? It would be so much more fun if a handsome man like you helped. Especially with undressing~" Of course on the inside the girl was flailing about and holding back a gag. Who in their right minds would want this type of conversation? She felt so dirty just thinking about it!
Soon enough she had herself draped over the young Oban as they walked towards the side room that she had earlier indicated. Talisia made certain to grab the draperies and pulled the fabric so that the entrance was concealed, making the room even darker as they entered. Ever so slowly she counted their footsteps away from the crowd as his mouth began to linger over her skin. What he didn't know was that he was ten steps away from a whip around his wrists....

It wasn't a fool proof plan, but it would have to do. She nodded, keen on working out her plan before she was stopped. Ujana just stared at the hybrid before giving a little snort. "As if. No one needs to know about anything that happens in this place." While she may not have had much tact, she did have some sense of secrecy. It wasn't as if she wouldn't be watching the whole thing, both out of open curiosity and a genuine urge to keep Talisia safe, but no one else needed to know.
Ujana moved as gracefully as one could at her side, sticking to the shadows and accessing her plan. It had been easy enough to trip a servant with a well placed shove to a potted plant, which took enough attention away from the area they needed to give her some time.
From her position she could see Fervos turning his maroon eyes to Talisia and while his eyes were not unkind neither were they chaste. It was enough to make Ujana's skin crawl, but she couldn't be lax. Another Noble was making their way towards Fervos, so she acted quickly; by dragging him in the bushes with her.
"Shh, shhh, just go to sleep for a while." Thankfully no one noticed his brief struggle, or light thumping his feet did as he kicked out against Ujana. With her hand placed over his mouth he went into an unconscious state, slumped against her.
"So they did." Fervos clucked his tongue, obvious agitation rising for the miscreant servants. He allowed her to touch him, because why should he fear what she could do?, and allowed himself to be suckered into that exotic gaze. His mouth quirked into a wicked smile, one of which that suited a man as handsome as Fervos. Had he not fallen into his family's lifestyle he may have been a fine catch, but the man was far too entrenched in the debauchery to change now.
By the time Talisia had made away with her 'catch' Ujana was waiting in the wings. If he had bothered to look only her eerie eyes would have been visible, glowing in the dark as any predators would. When he was close enough she swooped in, snatching his one of his arms back to pin it against his skin while her other hand came around to press it over his mouth. Not only did it muffle his shout of protest, but it also got him away from Talisia. When he kicked back against Ujana she jerked on his arm, twisting it at a painful angle.
"No more shoutin', got it? So long as you play nice and answer her questions then you'll be fine."
Fervos snarled against her hand, but when she gave his arm another tug his body moved upward, forcing him to eagerly nod his head.

Talisia's whole demeanor instantly changed as the Oban looked towards her. "Oh, looks like I don't need help changing after all~" She teased lightly before cracking out her whip. She was thankful that Ujana was there to hold him. It was rather delightful to see someone who had been such a sleaze to her being handled by her new friend. "We have some questions and should you answer them you might still yet leave with your manhood intact. I'm not too fond of people who get that close to me, but we'll call it even if you tell me about my missing friend..."
It was a about an hour later when Talisia walked away from the blazing building. Who knew that some fire near a curtain could cause such a commotion? Innocently whistling the girl continued sashaying down the streets. She was just thankful that Callum had already left the place. Wherever her friend was now Talisia could only pray and hope that he was doing well. May the gods watch over you, you knuckle head. Shaking her head Talisia paused to glance back over her shoulder, "Thanks for all the help today, Ujana. I owe you a drink or something."
As it was she was ready to go back to camp and sleep.
Who knew that crashing a party could be so exhausting?

The heat of the fire on her back made all that effort worth it. She would have to keep a low profile for a few weeks, just so no one would associate her with the incident, but that was only if she didn't brag about it to everyone she knew.
"Hey, it's all well and good. It was a pretty satisfying day, but I'm never one to turn down a drink." She remembered the feel of punching Fervos in the dangle bag when he'd first said that Callum wasn't there; only to mildly regret it when he really and truly wasn't lying. It had just seemed so ridiculous for the guy not to be there after all the trouble they'd gone through just to find him!
"You're good company, Talisia." Her opaque eyes sparkled with mirth, catching on what wisps of light were coming out of buildings. AS the day had worn on the sun had began to sink, and now only the glow of lanterns illuminated her path. "Stop back by if you're going to be staying a while longer. We'll have to get into something again. Dunno if it'll be quite this exciting , though."

Talisia chuckled. Of course Ujana would say that. After just knowing the other girl for one day, Talisia felt as if she had a good idea of her personality. "Good, cause it wouldn't feel right unless I did." After all she honestly didn't know if she could have done this without the other's girl help. It definitely wouldn't have had such an explosive ending, that was for certain.
Smirking Talisia nodded, "I'll make sure to stop by before I head out of Oba." She waved her hand as she whistled and a blur split from the skies to land next to her.Placing a hand on his neck, Talisia chuckled, "And it might be best if next time is a bit calmer. I don't know if Oba could handle it if we kept this up." With that the hybrid and beast both turned as they began to walk on their own path once more.
