Well, if Aseara enjoyed doing what she was doing, maybe it couldn't be that bad. But to Dravi, parading about in front of strangers didn't exactly strike him as appealing. Maybe because he wasn't a woman. Or pretty. Or an exceptionally exotic character for Oba. And probably not a great dancer, either. He scratched at the back of his head, grinned sheepishly, and accepted the glass from her hands with a nod of thanks.
At least the rest of the options sounded more exciting to him. Money, murder, and secrets. Skadravi didn't fancy himself intelligent enough to play any such games, but it sounded like the type of events you could write a book or play about and become famous over, maybe. Especially if you had first-hand experience with a real-life version of it. One Shot, One Kill: Jin Tahaz- Something like that, anyway. He wasn't exactly an extensive reader. But surely someone could come up with something good.
He shrugged and had to refocus his attention back on Aseara. "Me? Oh, I uh-" Dravi hummed, blinked, shifted his weight, took a sip of his drink, then fixed yellowed eyes on the Wind woman. What did he do?
His first thought immediately flew back to Khalel. He couldn't say he did much of anything at the moment, besides enjoy his woman's company. But maybe once they were in Matori, after they'd had enough adventures and sorted themselves out well enough, that would change. Dravi wasn't good at much of anything, nor was he intelligent or talented, but that didn't seem to matter so much. There was time. He grinned. "Nothing so interesting, I assure you."

“That sounds like the kind of answer I receive from patrons who work best at night.” Only those who didn’t want their professions to be out for all to know answered with such a vague question. It always made Aseara wonder what kind of work these people did, she didn’t assume the worst but she did keep it in mind. Dravi didn’t really look like he was a thief or assassin, but what did she know? Even if she met one, she wouldn’t be able to tell them apart from her other patrons. Even then she had patrons who looked like they killed people for a living but weren’t in the profession at all.
A young girl came into the room, looked around and then made her way to Aseara when she spotted her.
“Aseara,” she said softly giving Dravi a look before coming in close to Aseara and whispering into her ear. The Wind woman nodded and thanked her before the girl was off running again.
“Well Dravi, not that I want to throw you out but looks like our times up. Something’s come up,” Aseara downed her drink. “Shall I walk you out?”

"Work best at...?" Skadravi blinked and tipped his head inquisitively. Immediately, his thoughts were back on hookers. They likely did their best work at night, and that was certainly not anything Dravi would or even could do with his time. Not that he did much at all during the night, anyway. Not sleep. Not adventure. Definitely not work, and it always seemed too dark and quiet to do anything that was a practical use of his time. He shrugged. Perhaps it didn't matter. He'd figure himself and his life mission out one day.
Just not today.
Whether or not he was still skeptical of what happened in this building probably didn't matter too much. It wasn't really his business to worry about, and it had been ridiculously out of character for anyone in Oba to offer to show him much of anything. Dravi could appreciate the woman's kindness in that regard. He could also appreciate all the girls flitting about in the hallways and otherwise, but that probably didn't need voicing. He grinned at the newcomer and her whispers and gave a friendly parting wave as she scurried away.
Once Aseara's attention was back on him, he hummed out an amused sound. "Y'know, you and all your little friends are real cute. Scampering about like something important is going on." He crossed his arms behind his head and stepped back the way they'd come. "All the same, I'm real grateful you took the time to show me around. Was real nice of you, Aseara."

“There’s always something important going on within these walls,” Aseara gave him a shy smile. She was not about to give him the details of exactly what was about to transpire, everyone was on a need to know basis and he was an outsider, an unknown factor. Aseara couldn’t risk word getting out before everything was in place. A little tour of the Red never hurt anyone, and it hadn’t bothered her, she hadn’t had anything else important to do and he had helped them out by getting everything here.
“Don’t mention it,” Aseara waved her hand at him as she walked back down the halls. “It’s the least I can do after you helped us out.” She wasn’t one to simply accept free labor. They reached the front door this time and Aseara stopped. “You should come back after we have our largest event yet, things will be different.” She gave a nod of your head. “Front door for you this time,” she chuckled softly. “It was nice meeting you.” She bobbed her head. He was an interesting fellow, and even though they’d talk she really didn’t know much about him. Which was strange considering usually people opened up.

Skadravi quirked a brow skeptically at her, as he really sincerely hoped nothing of actual import was happening in this building. And certainly nothing was as it related to him, anyway. He decided not to say as much. No need to contradict a thing said by a pretty, smiling lady. Especially not when they were about to part on reasonably favorable terms. Or Dravi hoped that's what was happening, anyway.
Instead, he kept his mouth shut, stretched his arms over his head, and let out a satisfied hum. Maybe this hadn't been in today's plan, but it certainly wasn't the worst thing that could've happened.
Though he did sort of hope Khalel didn't find out he'd been to a whore- er, dance house... Even if nothing unsavory went down.
As they reached the exit (and it was so nice that he was allowed to use the front door this time- maybe they weren't embarrassed of him after all!), he gave Aseara a grin. "Shoulda been what anyone would do, to help out a girl struggling on the street with so much in her arms. Sorry that it's not. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me, all the same." He didn't know when, if ever, that he'd be back in Oba, but that didn't merit mentioning. He strode out the door with a wave over his shoulder and a chipper, "See you around, Ace."
