Post Leading by Example:

Rumble of a truck, blood dripping from my hands, HOLD IT UP HOLD IT! So tired, can't even feel the pain.. need to stay aw-HOLD IT. Where was the roof? Blanket ..can't see. Not holding ....did I fail?! Can't sleep have to hold it up a few more minutes just a few more minutes....

"Sh** hold hi- " the sound was cut as the person shouting crashed to the side of the van while Ree raised his hand and bit down on the back of his already bloody hand while a wing spasm on his right. Glazed over glowing eyes stared up at the roof of the van which started to skip down the road as the back part of it started being pushed up slightly and then crashing back down. Some one pushed the blanket over Ree's head again while another guard shot a tranq into his back. Ree shook his head slowly, trying to dislodge the blanket before his struggles slowed and stopped while he dropped forward hanging from the restraints holding him to the wheelchair.

"Close... go-..."

Prior to A New Direction:

I'm still dreaming of the hospital, I wake up every night now drench in sweat trying to rip apart the roof of my current room. I take back being bored.. I want to be bored again not have the nightmare of people screaming and pleading as they were stuck two floors above with no way to get down... held up only my by power that if I let go would have killed them, Mara and myself. I want Tri.... I want to hide under his wings like I did before...or just talk to him.

Mara ...she was here now trying to fill me in on what happened at the hospital.. but she wouldn't tell me where Tri was, he would have been there right?

She was interrupted by a nurse...seems the EE member who nearly killed me was waking up ...after Mara had Kage deal with her. Kage... he really did seem to have integrated himself quite quickly if Mara was giving him her trust. Still it make me worry about what Mara would have allowed him to do... I don't have any doubt the EE member likely deserved it but ...memories were what build you. Without those.. was she still the same person who perpetrated those crimes?

Post A New Direction:

I can say now I am feeling better, I walked all the way to the room where Kage and the EE mem- Andy were. The furious blue eyed Fallen meta who attacked me was gone in her place...there was someone who was just not -her-. It made me feel guilty, I talked to her as if I had always known her, when I was what kept her from running... the child I had held that she had been trying to protect. Melody, Mara had also informed me of her and her decision to stay. I wonder what she would think of Andy now..if she would feel better or hate us for changing one of the people she had or does consider close to her.

Then there was Kage, he moved and acted like he really was in love with her to the point of being clingy, at least until Mara called him out of the room. Then we played, we laughed, we acted as if nothing was wrong. What I always wanted to know and act with real friends and it just made it feel all the worse that it was really all a lie. I had to leave, I could have stayed longer but I didn't agree ...understood the need but ... I don't know. I just want to sleep.

Information Search

Mirabelle was still a little light headed from her escapade the day before. Though, it garnered what she needed. Now, she was focused on finding the meta that Lucian had mentioned. She walked around the ground, stepping carefully along the path, making sure not to trip over anything that might be in her path. She scanned the auras of the metas she passed and could see around her, looking for anything that was off. It's not like she could go off a physical description, she'd have to find the meta by her own means.

Ree sat in a tree limb high above the ground that was getting a bit of sun at this point in the day. It also let him both see the entrance to the administration office and part of the dinning hall. His eyes were closed with a book nearly forgotten in his lap as he tried to rest.. faint shivers of his nerve ending get telling him that he wasn't completely healed as he wished he was.

"Satya, help please." she spoke softly, trying to entice her mane to help her. She had been wandering around the grounds for far too long and was ready to be finished. She could hear her
Mane sigh loudly. "Look up." Mirabelle stopped just before almost running into the tree, placing her hands against as it was already too close for comfort. Another step, and she would have run straight into it. She then shifted to look up, seeing an aura sitting in the tree. "Is this him?" she asked her mane, but there was no answer, now it was Miras turn to sigh.

"Is that him?"

The soft question carried enough voice to reach his ears. He frowned faintly and opened his eyes, the voice was close by almost as if it were under him. Closing the book he tucked it under one arm and looked down meeting.. or actually not meeting the gaze of the meta who was staring up in his direction. Was she looking for him? but then who had she been talking too?

Looking left and right he was unable to see a second person and sighed. "Are you looking for me?" he called down below, reluctant to really leave.

"It depends on what you look like... " she responded as he spoke to her. "Mira is looking for a white haired archangel meta. She desires to talk to him." She explained, keeping a hand on the tree to steady herself as she stared with glassy lifeless eyes up at him.

Ree frowned faintly, didn't they have his name on file? " I am not familiar with any Mira" he said quietly, tired. Wondering if he missed filling out another piece of paper and they had noticed while he was gone. taking a quick lok around again for anyone else he got up and jumped off wings flaring and doing two long downward sweeps before landing down near her. "But I am a white hair archangel meta"

Mira frowned as she forgot new people didn't always understand the way she talked. Pointing to herself, "She is right here..." Then shook her head, not bothering to further explain it. Either he'd catch on or forever be confused. It didn't matter. She moved to a stern look for only a fleeting second before it seemed to drop in defeat, staring at him blankly. "Someone saw you with Melody. Mira wasn't sure whether you saved her or hurt her. Either way, she's still gone." She spoke, getting straight to the point. "Are you with SIU?" she asked with a frown, like it made her sad to even ask the question. "Mira isn't here to fight you... Just ask questions... "

Wings lifted up a bit in surprise before furling in close to allow him ease of movement. "SIU?" he sounded surprised because he was, how did find out so quickly? "No....Which one is Mari. The Mane or the Malice?" his voice has deepen slightly as he watched her... not taking off just yet because he was curious as well. Mira...why did that name sound so famili- as shoot. Spectrum.

She sighed, "Not mane, nor malice. Mira is standing right in front of you." She closed her eyes then thought of the only other way to get the point across, holding out her arms to show the deep etching of her own name up her arms from when she was attack as a child. She opened her eyes and frowned. "Melody is important to her caretakers and is being monitored by Spectrum Research. If you know where..... They... Took her, please tell Mira." She paused, taking another deep breath, "They took mira's dear friend. She just wants to know how to find them again. You seem to be the last person reported seeing them before their disappearance. It looks very suspicious."

Glancing at her arm he looked back at her frowning. So she was Mira...and she spoke in third person? huh. "I said I didn't work for SIU. Not that I didn't work for someone. " interesting, that he was being confronted by one of the two people who had opened the Sanctuary again and the one who seemed to be the most vulnerable as well. Either someone was watching... or they were to trusting. The former seemed to be more likely but he didn't see anyone close by. "Melody and a dear friend..... you know what you are saying pretty much amount to a confirmation that you are in league with the Renegades . Is that something you want to get out? risk what you worked for...even the Sanctuary itself?"

She kept the same sad face, "Mira doesn't like to say it, but Melody *is*property of Spectrum Research. She is allowed to inquire about the child's where abouts and wonder who took her." she paused for a moment, becoming inquisitive. "Mira never implied who the friend was... Interesting that you'd assume it's a renegade member..." she then sighed. "Mira cares very deeply for her,... This dear friend. She is troubled and thus causes trouble. The sanctuary is suppose to be a safe place for those who need it.. Even those who seek a safe place to change themselves for the better. You never know." Mira reached out and softly grabbed onto his hand, looking at him with sorrowful pleading eyes. "Is Andy even still alive?" she asked softly, faltering as she tried to keep calm from her longing for her best friend.

"Again, I never denied I didn't work for someone" he pulled his hand out of her grasp a look of disgust passing along his face as he took one step back to keep at least some personal space between them. Pretty face deadly dagger, even if the dagger were words this time.

" She's not, her poster has been rescind. Perhaps that is for the best, she wouldn't have to see the times we have reached when one meta starts claiming ownership of another. " he could not keep the disgust out of his voice as he lifted his wings. " I wonder what she would have thought if she knew you as the current owner of Spectrum, a rare accomplishment and a footstep for meta survival in a human controlled world, consider another meta under your care property? Slavery has always been only a hazy footstep away, but you don't have to wait for humans to get -that- idea when one of our own is already fomenting it" he tried kept his voice even but anger still seep through, he wanted to circle her.... stalk her like a cat or shadow might its target, but he didn't forcing himself to stay where he was.

He crossed his arms instead as the book he had been reading fell to the ground. He knew she was trying to get as much info from him and so was he from her, but what she had said....he had not expected, was Sanctuary nothing then but a subject gathering site? Or preserve?. Or had she thought talking to him as if he were a human might help her? And even if she didn't... There was obviously no hope in Spectrum or the Sanctuary if their Leaders didn't even notice and had already involved themselves so closely with the renegades as call at least one of the EE friend, one who only a few weeks ago murdered her own human husband.

Mira furrowed her brow in a pained expression, as everything he spoke was absolutely true and she knew that. "You have the wrong idea. Firstly, Andy and Mira never saw eye to eye about humans. Even despite that, Mira would never want to ownership of her own kind." she sighed, drawing back lightly. "Mira only just became the owner of Spectrum. The ownership is not her doing, but she will change away from that. One step at a time. Humans and metas can coexist. Mira knows it. Andy couldn't see that through her anger. Mira wanted to help her.. But.. There's.. No point in that anymore.." she was fighting back tears. Surely Aiden could feel her distress by now. She'd have to either calm down or end the conversation soon before her twin got involved. She sighed heavily, her breath quivering under her anguish.

"Mira wants to help metas. Not hurt them. Not kill them. Not own them. She's sorry she bothered you." she seemed regretful about something, as she closed her eyes for a moment then opened them to look at him, looking through him. "If you come to know where Melody might be, Mira would greatly appreciate to know.. She is very precious to Mira, like a daughter. So please..." she averted her gaze, turning. "Mira will be around. You.. Have a nice day." she spoke, regret growing in her voice as she turned to leave.

Ree wondered if she realized how much she will have to change to access the potential of what she have been forced into. But that wording...she knew.. She knew what she was doing, including mentioning not liking to say it, attempting to get him to defend himself with risk of the law.

Anyone else that cared or was pushing for change would have changed the wording, at least for themselves. Even some other human research centers said subject or patient not..property. Still she said she will change away from that, it was a start. even if it didn't calm the suspicious nature Tri and Mara cultivated in him.

Straightening he watched her turn away and would have been satisfied to leave it like that now that his cover was blown, but the mention of Melody being like her daughter twinge at his conscious in a way the sad blind face didn't when she talked of Andy.

"Melody might not have the same feelings back, she doesn't like being lied to either" he said quietly, his stance stiff now as he remembered what Mara told him about her talks with the child. "We won't touch your sanctuary without just cause, but I suggest you put more of your time into it and dealing with attempting change than ...playing nursemaid to renegades. They won't help your cause, they will just ruin any potential you have of actually allowing coexistence. I assume you saw the news and the hospital?....you should work quickly"

Mira paused as he spoke. Standing still as he made his opinion known. Lies. She turned to look at him, anger in her expression now, an emotion that almost seemed out of place with how she held herself. "You think Mira wants to lie and deceive?!" her tone was harsh like an angered mother scolding a child. "That was never her choice. She does not own this school. Mira does what she can, but tovpush hard is to be like them! Pushing too hard gets you killed ." she was mad, that not only he would garner such an opinion of her but he had the audacity to say something to her about it.

"Call it a foolishly soft heart, but Mira thinks the renegade can change. There doesn't have to be blood or death. Because the only ones who truly get hurt are the ones left standing." she took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. 'let it go..' the voice rang out in her mind. "If only Mira had become the owner of Spectrum sooner... She would have just left with Melody. She did not deserve what she had here. Now she's gone." she reflected for a moment then shook the thought. "Mira doesn't want to fight, but the currents of this storm are too strong. Soon it will only be how to survive than how to live." she stared off at nothing at all as she waited for his inevitable retort, expecting more accusations and talk of how what she's doing isn't right. "This is a very dangerous place, but Mira still wants to protect it like it could actually be safe again." she was frustrated, her feelings conflicted, regret starting in again.

"Don't push enough and you become compliant. You haven't found that balance point from what I have seen " he narrowed his eyes taking a step toward her instead of away and stopping. "If you don't think you can manage what is in your hands, transfer it to someone who can. Don't you realize what you are? You are almost like Freya from Guardian Angels in a different sort of way. Get people to advise you..something. Because at the end the only thing that will make a meaningful change will also be filled with risk, including being killed. But I might be wrong....yet nothing that you said have given me a better understanding of your situation other than you seem over your head..and unable to even take the criticism. You don't fight a storm you try to bunker down the best way possible, you build protections for that...you build alliances. So when you're stuck in the middle of one, you neighbor might let you stay with them. " he was calming down even as his retorts turned sharp, moving from angrily pointing out his views to trying to get a better feeling of the current Spectrum head's view and ideas..and personality.

Maybe she was raised up only with the hope that she would fail. "Something you overlooked ...this place was never really safe, not even when it was a school. So you shouldn't be putting a lot of your focus on the renegades, if they wish to change help them but they are not the danger..they are just the electric plod hitting the herd..at some point that herd will turn not only on them but every one of us as well. This won't be a sanctuary then...just a preserve. "

Mirabelle sighed, her face shifting back into sadness, almost in pity. Her voice was soft again, "Mira may be blind to a lot of things... but she sees a lot more than one might think. She may not be the best at dealing with everything that's been thrust upon her, but how can she learn if she does not act. Moving forward, staying determined, but not faltering.

Mira will admit that she lets her personal feelings get in the way, she's even doing it now, and maybe she will regret that later, but her heart is in the right place. We all dance the line of push and pull, even more so with tensions being so high. Mirabelle is not diplomatic. She is smart. She is a scientist. Only now learning how to lead than comply." she paused, her face becoming stern, "But she will not back down. If she has to learn to play the part, she will. And that is none of your business to question." she took a deep breath, her emotions back in control, possibly aided by her mane. Her eyes began to shift into a pink color, "We may not push, but we do not bend. And we certainly will not break." she stood firm, staring directly at Ree. "Don't act so high and mighty, /everyone/ has their faults. So don't go casting your opinions like they were asked for. We only asked if you were with SIU and if you knew where Melody was. So if you have nothing to contribute, we are done." her voice was direct and sharp, changed from the more gentle demeanor she had possessed at the start of the conversation.

Ree smiled but the brightness of it never reached his glowing eyes, making him seem malevolent. He had been listening trying to understand, actually what she said was the most as he could hope and would have said so until the -other- appeared. Mane..must be a mane since she hadn't attacked. "I am not one of your employees...I am not your ally and I never said I was without faults.

I said this because I am a meta and am concern when someone in your station with your supposed values starts throwing around the word property when speaking of her own species. But maybe not that odd, your other self has the makings for cruelty. Do not bend, do not break do not question...is this your answer to everything? " he said sounding almost friendly before shaking his head. "Never mind. As you said we are done. Excuse me" he reached down to pick up the book he had dropped, wanting to leave this place as quickly as possible now.

"We understand your apprehension." she sighed and shook her head. "Look,.." she seemed to strain lightly, "Neither... of us are good with words. We hope that maybe actions can be a better indicator to the vision we seek. We are sorry for the outburst.... it has.. been a rough day." she looked away, letting him do as he pleased, if he wanted to leave, he could. "..she's.. a lot nicer when she doesn't think her best friend is dead." she retorted bluntly, with a flicker of sympathy, hinting that she believed Andy wasn't really dead as she then walked away. She'd need to give her host time to grieve before they could start to make progress on things they had lined up.

Ree said nothing as she walked away, watching her for a moment before taking wing himself. He had left nothing in the room they lent him and even now he just took the keys out and dropped them close to the admin building as he finally flew out of there. Action is better than word, they will all see what she does but he really didn't have much faith. She wasn't the type that inspired confidence in him or gave him a reason that made him want to follow him. No...she just hit on an old fear, property.

Property

Ree sat on a bench wings skewed on either side of him as he resisted the urge to throw his head back as well, glaring darkly at the tree across the path from him. He flew nearly an hour after leaving the Sanctuary until he spotted the trail and the bench. "No, no I am -Fine-. She just wanted to talk. She is aware of the SIU and wanted to know if I was a part of it, I was seen carrying Melody off by someone and no..no I don't have any clue how she connected the two...since our files supposedly need high clearance? Yes... " he let out a sigh. "She just wanted her property back, aka Melody and to know of Andy. hm? Yes she is aware.. she is trying to rehabilitate them it seems. " his voices sounded tired. "What did I say? .... er...." there was a pause and he winced. "yes yes fine. I said she should work harder on the coexisting things and ignore the renegades. That she should get help running things sif she can't..." he stopped. "Hm.... she has a mane..pretty sure it was a mane since it didn't try to eat me..literally at least" he said drily."Seems she was forced into the position of head of the company... sounds like she is in over her head... and she does have renegade friends" he paused thinking over the conversation. " She said she will be trying to make changes through action and seem very hurt about Andy ...and Melody. I don't think she believes me ....yea...hm? yes just be careful. I am going to the -place-. i'll call you back later " he waited as Mara mentioned a few more things before she hanged up.

He pocketed the phone, saving the charge until he could get to a meta friendly inn. He knew just the inn but it was still a few more miles away. Warn Mara check, drag anyone on his tail away form SIU ...check. Him along for this thoughts for miles che- ah darn it.

His mind kept going back to the conversation he had with the head of Spectrum. A flicker of anger growing in his chest as he thought about it ...having kept the conversation from melody and andy but still eventually answering both questions. They will learn of Andy once Mara can get enough sanctions to keep her alive.... to keep her alive... like property. Getting up he stretched tired wings and stared up at the sky, property ..just like Tri was with that collar... how he might be assumed to be even if he didn't wear one. Tri allowed himself to be used.. Andy had no choice.. that left only him, melody and Kage collarless... how were they able to fight for their own rights if half of the metas supposedly helping the humans had to be collared? It gave the wrong idea... when will they start asking all the metas to wear it... then force them to wear it.

Reaching up he touched his own neck. Mara still seemed to be at loss on how to do that jump between helpful metas and metas with rights. That scared him ...because it was still the best thing he had seen so far out of all the groups struggling for the same thing in their own different way. "....Why..." he said aimlessly to the sky before just taking wing to continue on.

Old Friend

"Hello? Kai?" Ree knocked quietly in front of a door in the village of Hinale. He knocked once more a feeling of dread as no one answered until there was a shifting of a lock and a young face looked up at him. "He's not he-....... Ree? Ree!! ........you're bigger again! "

Ree stared down at the younger pure blood angel and made a face. "not -that- big" he muttered looking self-conscious before he felt smaller arms grabbing his arm and pulling him inside. "Kai went to grab some kettlecorn at the market before they closed! Are you going to stay? are you going to get bigger? you'll be an old man before I become a teenage!..hey can you drink now?"

Ree made a face " I -really- hope not to all of them and yes I can drink .. it tastes yucky" he grinned down at younger angel.

"So...no to staying?" there was a sly grin as he watch Ree facepalm. "Yes to staying... hope not to growing older as fast. That would -really- suck " he smiled with a hint of strain as if he hadn't hit upon another fear of his. "nu huh. you can drive now. " watching Ree look surprised, "I ...er... um.. eh. true yea" not realizing he could get a license maybe... he never needed to drive before and cars really were uncomfortable for the winged. "Question. Kai? return?"

"I do hope so since I still live here" an older angel finished opening the door as he gave Ree a intent disapproving glare before recognizing him and smiling. "Ree... not with Tri? " he said as he looked for the other solemn archangel meta.

Ree shook his head "Hiding out... um. there shouldn't be trouble but could I stay here?" wings shifted uncomfortable as Kai gave him an intent look. "shouldn't? " Ree shook his head " Didn't see anyone following me for the past couple of miles and I traveled far" he muttered. Kai watched him closely "It is fine with me... but I think (name) should head back home once we finish the movie " he said looking to the younger angel meta who had sometimes been a playmate for the current meta here when he visited the area with his own father. His sister would be home by then anyways and if there was trouble well ... he didn't want him here.

"movie first! come on Ree! " the younger angel grabbed at the hand and dragged the confused meta with him to watch frozen as Kai looked after them bemused. Shaking his head he started to open the popcorn and pour it into three bowls. Then he will make sure Ree had his phone number before he did any more unannounced visits. He could have set him up elsewhere had he known but not help for that now at least for tonight.

One Mistake to Many

::set after "We Speak" [Parley] ::

Ree had managed to make it back to the trailer, left hidden in the golf course area, after fleeing Blaise, to smell ozone in the air and signs of a struggle. Tri....something had happen to him here and he had absolutely no idea what or where Mara was either.

Searching the area carefully brought up nothing so he headed back into the trailer and waited an hour ..nearly two. As he replaced his comm with one of the extras and rested taking something for the headache that had developed while trying not to fall asleep or worry even more.

Soon after he started overhearing updates and orders. Hesitant to voice out any thing at all after remembering Nias shooting at him with two rifles. Two of them... like he was the threat and not with them. Unless...did they think he stabbed (criel)? He had tried to protect him even if he was insufferable jerk that might have deserved it, but he didn't actually think he should have died for it...

Where had that sword come from also? Zaku? Michael? They had both been quick to transfer the blame to them ... right in front of the other cities...Sh**!.

He let out a soft breath which caught in his throat followed by a feeling of dread as he heard the General's voice call out new orders. Bounty Tobias was spotted, get pictures of those new metas with him, Keep trying to find Mara or Tri, capture or kill Ree on sight. Oh go-.....

The next few hours were a complete mess between sleeping, taking apart some things in the trailer, trying not to panic, then thinking and waiting to hear some news on Mara or Tri until all the units using Comms moved out of the area. Then cold fear settled in for the night....

Dull glowing eyes stared at the blindfold in his hand as it flashed out of existence and he sighed softly, closing his eyes as a bright spirit-like cat appeared by him nudging him with a paw(Soul light lvl cool . "Hi cat" he muttered opening his eyes again and took a breath, cold eyes gazing at the mess he had done hours before."...We're a mess" he muttered.

Ashral...Muramasa ...Luz? I learned many things about her while we were recovering...none which I am going to write here other than to say I am going to be thinking pretty hard on them.

She seem to be wanted? I ask if she wanted to be my sister....I guess since it was me asking ...it would have been better to ask if she wanted me to adopt her. Except she is likely a few hundred years older than me and stuck inside the body of a child. There was no good way to pose that question.

Her answer was surprising

Mostly because she seems to be confusing me with her real brother. I am trying to differentiate us in her mind...shouldn't be to hard. Her brother sounded more responsible even if what he did to protect her seem harsh.

Your selling yourself short

Am I? I don't even know what I want

Were I am confused.

At the end we will wait and see..even so she agreed to be my sister. It will be interesting to see when she splits..if she passes the darkness or is pulled by it. It doesn't mean I won't try to help her...I want to help her

Which brings me to love. Romantic love..... I never thought about it much in terms of myself. I really don't want to think about it.

Oh also found an interesting update to one of my powers. It's odd it looks like a cat...I see through it and I think I see ...spirits? some dark some bright some in between.
I wouldn't mind seeing a really bright kind spirit...

On a more heavy topic... still searching for Tri, checked out meeting areas prior to heading to the base but there was no sign of him. Now we have some hint on the renegades, it might take us a while....

Ree stared quietly at the ruins of a partially buried freight station. At some point it had been erected during the Great War but now dirt covered this area in an odd illogical mound encompassing only the station and the tracks around it. Of the main building only the broken roof could be seen and the darkness below, around there were hints of freight containers slowly being unburied by the rain through the years, showing name of companies that no longer even existed. It looked pretty desolate but there were hints of movement here and there near the main building, dirt roads paved flat by what seemed to be the passage of vehicles and sighs of excavation efforts all around containers themselves. Likely there were squatters of any race living here or even one of the more organized crime rings/ companies attempting to salvage what they could from that time.

Ree blinked and shook his head, glancing at Ash quietly then back. "They haven't reached the edges yet....this way " he muttered quietly pulling back into the strip of green that had currently grown through the years around the mound. He lead the way downwards away from the main station, looking around for a landmark as he walked.

Ashral followed silently, using levitation to make as little sound as possible. She kept watch, eyes darting back and forth as she made sure there was no chance of ambush, determined to not let Ree get hurt again. She perked to look at him as he spoke, breaking the silence. "Mm." she hummed lightly and nodded in agreement. As he moved, she stayed close. "What are we looking for.." she asked in hushed tone, keeping focus on the terrain now.

"Landmark " he smiled faintly, trying to walk quietly but there was always the soft scuffle of his shoes landing on dry leaves, making a soft noise as he walked. "Broken tree and two boulders. This area isn't that big so we just have to wander un- there we go" he motioned up ahead to the trunk of a tree, the main part no where in sight while two boulders sat seemingly haphazardly as if they had been thrown there and looked ready to tilt and keep on tumbling. They were both full of ivy and moss, the sun barely ever hitting them during day light hours. "And.......here" he moved to the first Boulder. And took 5 steps from it and phased down into the ground.

Some minutes later he flew back up and solidified, holding two large packs and a worried and hopeful look as he lowered himself back to the ground. ".....Second set is gone!" He dropped both packs on the ground looking excited as he knelt down, looking for something, pulling out a solar battery pack and a dead phone. "......darn it!" Not sure why he expected it to be charged...but he did.

Ashral watched as he phased into the ground, she grabbed her arm with her other hand as she shifted her weight and looked around as if to stand guard, but it didn't look like anyone would be near where they were. After a few minutes, he flew back up and she tensed up for a second, gripping her arm tighter as she then relaxed. She watched him with a slightly puzzled look as he dug through the bag. She frowned as he cursed, "Someone else was here?" she asked then took another look around, before looking back to the thing in his hand. "What's that.."

"Yes! Tri. " he sounded happy then frown at the phone and pulled out the connection cable and pushed the pack into a bit of sunlight. "There is an empty freight container under here, we had these things stashed here encase SIU turned on us. he frowned, the excitement dying down slightly as he glanced up at her quizzically. "This?" He looked down at the phone in his hand. "A cell phone." he looked at her confused before realization dawn on him that she was Ash not Hexxis, so she wouldn't know? "Once it is charge it lets me talk to someone else who has a similar device as long as I have the number, no matter the distance."

'Tri was here? That means he's alive.'

Ashral blinked for a moment, releasing the grip on her arm to grab the phone and look at it. A peculiar device with numbers on it and a blank display. Ahh, she had seen something like this very briefly when they were at Spectrum, the doctors would use them like the comms and they would get in trouble for it. She barely understood it, but his explanation was enough. A communications device. She handed it back and nodded. "Electricity. Maybe you can charge it at a safe house."

'We aren't far from one. It should be a mile south from here. Roughly 15 min walk.'

"Hexxis says if we go south, we'll find one. About 15 minutes." she relayed the information, watching him while taking a deep breath, reaching to grab at her arm once more.

"Safe house?" he looked at her confused, safe house meaning many things and he wasn't grasping which one she was talking about. "One of the renegade houses?" He frowned faintly and shook his head, "What is that is the one they are actually at?" not that he wouldn't love to know where they were at but then what? And if they weren't, there was always the worry.

But Tri came here he must be okay, likely escaped or was never captured in the first place and jumped but was injured? To many assumptions. "This will charge it in about 30 minutes..not full charge but hopefully enough for a call .." He muttered poking the solar powered power pack he threw into the sun. "That specific one changes sunlight into electricity ..and then that sends it to the phone."

Looking back up at her he watched her grab her arm. "Are you okay?" Sounding concern as he put the phone back down.

Ashral looked down at the pack and nodded. "I see. So we wait." she spoke, understanding his intentions. She blinked with a slight bit of confusion as he asked her if she was okay, "Yeah, why?"

Ree nodded while watching her carefully. "I don't know, you seem worried? Not that there isn't a whole bunch to worry about but ...was there something in particular on your mind?" He might have just let it go on anyone else but with Ash...that might turn to something dangerous later on.

She didn't seem to understand where the question was coming from, "I'm fine.." she answered, looking concerned that maybe he knew something she didn't. Letting go of her arm she smiled and sat down, dispelling her sword and sighing. "Everything is okay, isn't it? So I'm not worried. I'm.." she paused and looked out to the ruins in the distance then back at Ree. "At least I'm not alone."

Ree nodded slowly but looked satisfied as he sat down as well. ".....hm. Going from Hexxis memories. Is there somewhere you would like to see? Or something you would like to see? Either of both of you?"

Ashral paused, she didn't need Hexxis' input, she already knew their answer. "We were never outside... Neither of us know of the outside world besides the places we had been confined." she sighed and moved to lay down next to where he was sitting and looked up at the sky. "This is as much as either of us have ever seen... We don't have big dreams or goals.. just to experience anything that's different from what we know. It's what connects us." she explained with a faint smile, as she shifted her eyes to him. "That's all we could ask for." Hexxis had remained silent, agreeing with everything that Ashral had said, though a twinge of a more negative feeling lay below the surface that quickly faded once more. Ashral sighed as her eyes traced the clouds above them, almost a look of fascination and longing in her eyes.

Ree chuckles and looked up as well. "Well..you're getting a lot of experience now. So.... If you want to know something just ask? " he glanced back down at her and resisted the though that passed through his head, she would likely be offended than realize he was playing. Then ...there was also the other questions he had...how she died...did she remember anything between dying and reappearing in Hexxis, what did she do before she died? All of them were questions he was curious about but didn't have a good oppertunity to ask...and before calling Tri was not the best time either...especially when she seemed happy.

"......eh going to try" he leaned forward and grabbed the phone, looking unsure before shrugging and turning it on and holding his breath.

Ashral slid her eyes to him and sat back up, watching him mess with the phone, turning it on. She seemed curious but also a little worried. Remaining silent, as she waited for the result of his communication with, hopefully, Tri.

"It's on!" Glad it wasn't a smart phone that would want a bajillion updates by now, he pressed the only number on speed dial and waited.

Tri poured hot water into a packet of ramen noodles and covered it moving back to the bed to wait and maybe take another nap. Eyes were slowly sliding close when the phone hummed and he pulled himself up reaching out and flipping it open. Glancing at the number he frowned...resting his finger on the answer button but staring very intently at the number before just answering and waiting. Silence.

Ree blinked as it sounded like someone answered but there was nothing there? "Hello? " pulling the phone back to make sure it connected and didn't just die in connection. Nope it was there ..barely. "Hello?" This time he sounded more nervous.

".... Did you do it?"

Ree's eyes widen as he shook his head caught off guard by the question but it sounded like Tri. "No! ....I ..ported and raised my shield that was all. I don't know where the sword came from..." The excuse sounding weak to his ears but he really had no clue, it didn't even pass his mind Tri would ask that the moment he answered the phone.

Ashral narrowed her eyes as Ree began to speak, already piecing together that Tri was asking accusatory questions about parley. She remained silent, however, moving a hand to place on his to reassure him.

"......." He got up and shifted the phone to his other hand, listening carefully to the changes in Ree's voice. "Your fingerprints were found on the sword " he responded coldly, putting on his shoes.

Fear and worry flicker on his face as he tried to think of what to say that would convince him, wings slowly lowered completely until they touched the ground. He glanced down at Ash at the light touch then quickly looked away. Not wanting her to see him confused and frighten. Guilty as well, but not because of (Criel). Taking a breath he shoved it back, Tri would listen to reason so he just had to think without worrying just focus on telling the truth. "I pulled the sword out of his chest to heal him. That was before the fire fight that broke out in the room. They, I assume renegades since Michael shouted coordinates and the shooter stated firing at me as if they knew where I was. I also noted he was taking coordinates the old fashion way and muttering the numbers to a comm before arriving to the room. I did not teleport (Criel) there, I did not kill him "

"...." He went cold, damn it. "Where are you?" Tri muttered, eyes narrowing as he finished tying he shoe.

"Freight station. At the trailer" Ree replied simply, his heart beating faster.

"Is Hexxis with you?"

"Yes"

"Then wait there" he cut the call and closed the phone with a frown. Opening it again as if to text but closed it instead. Mara didn't need to know.

Ree pulled the phone away and looked down as he saw the call had been cut and the power was blinking. "He's coming" his voice dull as he connected the phone back and stood.

Ashral watched his face, trying not to show alarm. Tri was coming. Was that good or bad.

'It's good, Ashral.'

Ash wasn't buying it though, and exhaled heavily. "More waiting." She kept a steady gaze on Ree. "If it's okay, I'd like to stay until we know this isn't a trap." she retorted bluntly then softened her gaze, "I just want to make sure you're safe." Taking one more deep breath, she moved her hand to the ground next to her. "The least we can do is rest in the meantime..." she motioned for him to come sit next to her, though she didn't exactly expect him to with everything that was going on.

He looked flustered almost telling her it wasn't a trap but ... it could be. Would it be? Straight and to the point sounded like Tri and coming here and getting them... he could easily teleport them anywhere else within a mile radius, but he wouldn't do that, would he?

Glancing at her he looked to where she motioned and shook his head, moving to walk to the packs and open one to put the collar he took from Hexxis inside as well as the dart he was carefully carrying in one pocket. On second thought he left that one where it was and just out the collar inside before getting up and pacing.

A few minutes later Tri lifted up out of the shadow of one of the trees and turned to look at them with a harsh gaze. Eyes flickering between the state of their clothes and the stiffness of the dried blood on it to their faces and finally down toward Hexxis's neck with a flicker of alarm.

Ashral had frowned and just let Ree pace, remaining quiet as she messed with blades of grass, pulling one and trying to make noise with it like her brother had shown her once before, but she didn't remember how to do it anymore. As Tri emerged, it caught her off guard as she tensed and moved her legs back to a low kneeling stance, ready to summon her sword and attack if needed. She narrowed her eyes at Tri, her heart beginning to beat fast again. She looked to Ree with a look of concern, swallowed hard and spoke a very soft and calm tone. "...red.." she waited to meet Ree's gaze before nodding like a signal that she would try, just staying where she was and not moving a muscle as she shifted her gaze to fixate on Tri, like a cat ready to capture prey, watching his every movement with a burning intensity like she was seconds from pouncing.

//Red ...// he turned sharply to look at Ash, his heart pounding as he tried to figure out what set her of- shoot. Moving toward Tri he stopped and look back at Ash, not wanting to send her away but not going to give her the okay to attack. She looked....to be holding herself for the moment but that wouldn't matter if she still wanted to kill him by just seeing him. "Do you want the collar now?" He said calmly moving to the packs and crouching down slowly looking between them

Tri on the other hand held very still, his gaze traveling between Ree and Hex- no Ashral and back. Slowly his shadow lifted up near his feet in the shape of a cougar, a predator, one that hunted woodland areas like these ...one who didn't have to fear the lone wolf. The shadow laid down in front of him and flicked its tail..a distraction but not a provocation. Tri kept his eyes on Ashral as he listened to Ree look through the packs. He was disappointed...he thought Ree would me smarter than to loosen the only thing helping to keep control of Hexxis and the Malice. He wasn't to sure that this wasn't a trap still, no matter how they looked.mSo far the only thing that prevented him from shadowing at that moment was that Ash didn't attack and Ree sounded worried.

Ashral just stared at Tri intently, tensing a bit as a shadow lifted from the ground. She instinctively summoned her sword, and stayed still. Taking one deep and steady breath, she tried to calm her heart. Her hands were shaking, one hand on the hilt but not drawn as she watched the cougar laid down. Ashral could hear Ree rustle through the bag and ask if she wanted the collar. She wanted to prove herself, but that may prove a more difficult task. Her breath was heavy as she closed her eyes for a moment then forced herself to lay her sword down next to her, opening her eyes to continue staring at him. "If I put on the collar... I won't have as much power to stop him. Do you trust this isn't a trap enough for me to put it back on? Because I can't guarantee anything at this point. If he makes a move.. I won't... I can't hold back with him.... I'm sorry, Ree." she spoke calm, like she was desperately trying to fight back her own urges, doing good when Tri didn't move. She stared at Tri, almost not blinking as she focused on only him, and not the cougar at his feet.

Tri continued to hold still even as the cougar stopped moving when she lowered the sword. There was a faint look of confusion on his face as he listened to their interaction and watched the intense look on Ashral's face but said nothing. Getting the feeling everything was barely held together by a string as Ree pulled the collar out of one of the packs.

Ree pulled the collar out and held it against him as he looked between them, gave Ashral's words some thought. Yet the look he gave Tri was one of pain instead of suspicion as he turned away and moved to Ash, wanting to move between them but not sure that won't set her off either. "At some point trust is just that blind leap of faith where you are not sure if what you are throwing yourself at will hold or will fail. Yet you still believe with all your heart that it will hold, sometimes even against all logic." There was a pause as he swallowed "Tri won't do anything without proof... " he didn't look back at Tri, but looked at Ash. "I believe that, I have seen that " his wings lowered to the ground in emotional pain. "I can at least trust that. " he heads up the collar as if waiting for permission. "Thank you for offering me your blade in protection...."

Ashral had been holding focus until Ree began to talk, as he spoke, she blinked and her face seemed to soften as she then looked to Ree, listening to his words. As he finished she nodded, a smile surfacing for a moment as she came to a stand and the sword dispelled. She turned to him as she closed her eyes. "Then I trust it too..." she took a steady breath and stayed still as she waited for him to put it back on her, she assumed by phasing, as she braced for pain if he wasn't exactly accurate about it, but she trust him completely. "...no.. thank you ... for trusting me..." she whispered with a faint smile.

Ashral missed the look of surprise then sadness as he watched her that faded into a smile as he moved the collar against her neck then phased it angling himself so he could see all the way around. Using the tip of his fingers on the outside edge he adjusted it until he got it as close as he could before solidifying with it, eyes wide.

Tri still didn't move watching the whole thing in confusion, wondering how the world went crazy in the past few days. Ashral.... acting so unlike herself. Ree trusting her...and she him.

Ashral held her breath and stayed perfectly still as he phased the collar back onto her, wincing only slightly as it solidified, but it seemed to have worked. She kept her eyes closed.

After a few moments, she opened her eyes and they were red and blue again, her hand reaching up to touch the collar, a sigh of relief escaping her lips as she then slid her eyes to Tri and they widened very slightly. "...Tri..." she whispered, taking in a stifled breath as she slid her foot forward but hesitated seeing the cougar and then realizing that he was probably still on guard from Ashral being there that she didn't want to startle him. Still, in her mind, she wanted to just run to him, hug him even, just know that he was real and affirm that he was alive and okay. She suddenly noticed the bruises on his face and the burn mark on his cheek as a hint of pain in her blank eyes, already questioning what happened to him in her mind.

Ree relaxed when there was no indication of pain. "Good?" He asked watching her touch the collar then look up at Tri...Hexxis.

Looking up at the shadow arc then back he took a step away and let out a breath.

Tri watched them emotionlessly, both the shadow and he tensed when Hexxis took a step toward them. Grateful when Hexxis stopped he didn't have to deal with the confusion of either pulling away from Hexxis or hugging her.

"You let Ashral go....and she let you collar her again .." There was a flicker of confusion on his face, was almost certain Ashral had some control on Ree when he saw her without the collar. "Hexxis? The whole situation ...can you explain it to me. What has happened..what you are feeling? " he glanced up at Ree who looked confused, his black and blue wings lifting then lowering again. A good sign.

Looking back at Hexxis he watched her as the cougar disappeared into the shadows, but made no move to approach them. It hurt deeply having to second guess their words even their intentions but he couldn't assume that it wasn't a plot or plan from either Ashral or Ree..so he asked the only person he knew who was more or less always truthful.

Hexxis watched Tri's confusion on his face, hearing him question Ashral and Ree, knowing exactly what he was thinking. As he asked here to explain, she nodded. "Ree came to SIU to retrieve supplies and did not plan to break us out but decided last minute that he should do so anyway. I did encourage him, however, so I am partly to blame for his reckless behavior on that front. He had explained that parley did not go as planned in the worst scenarios and you all were separated and that he explained he was being framed for the murder of a city leader. I helped break out the other two kids at first. My argument with Ashral led to being shot. She took over and killed to soldiers and maimed another. She also fought against Kae in a sword battle in front of Lieutenant Colonel Asriel." she kept her emotionless gaze on Tri as she spoke, explaining everything she knew up until this point, "Ashral was able to escape with the help of Kae and Zira, although she chose to leave Leukos and Melody behind. Zira had saved Ree from almost dying and being captured himself. We were taken to a safe house which we discovered was a renegade base and found a map with many more like it that I have memorized. During our stay to rest, Ashral and Ree talked a lot. About their pasts and family and the song that Ashral and I sing at times.. mudane things, really. Ree asked Ashral to be his sister, saying that if you could bring me into the family without asking him, that he could too bring in her into the family." she paused for a moment, thinking about other things that had been said.

'Don't you ******** dare, Hexxis. You were supposed to be asleep! You weren't supposed to hear any of that stuff!!'

Hexxis sighed, moving away from the topic of what they talked about after that. "We rested after that and I had... nightmares. In our panicked state, Ree phased the collar off of me. They decided to keep it off for the time being. Ree was cautious enough to keep a tranquilizer on him. In my opinion, it was too much of a risk, but it worked out in their.. our favor. We were attacked by armored units and Ashral maimed yet another soldier. That's how we arrived here, and now they don't know whether you are here as a trap or out of genuine concern for their well being. Trust is... fragile."

"As for how I feel... I am fatigued, but able to continue moving. Mentally, I am apprehensive about their relationship as I feel it is not on equal ground. The metaphor being that one could easily slip on uneven terrain. Though, I am sure they are both aware of that and still continue on regardless."

Ree twitched wings lifting and flaring slightly then lowering at the mention of the two death and the maiming. "Hexxis! ...." He hissed softly but sharply, staring at the other meta in both disbelief and exasperation. She wasn't supposed to blurt -all- of that out, he assumed he had Ashral to thank when she moved away from the topic before touching on the other thing but...raawwrrr!! Really? Tri did not need to know even half of that ..nope.

Tri looked even more confused as Hexxis went on. Confused and exasperated while watching Ree's body language, especially his wings which he had yet to learn to control from showing his emotion. Satisfied he looked back at Hexxis and starting to shake his head in amazement as it lined up with what bit Mara had been able to scrounge up. An truly utter mess and they were both alive only because of Kae and Zira ... That he had to keep in mind. And ..........oh goodness....no.

"You adopted...a malice?!" He blurted and stared at Ree intently, trying to see any hint of pink in that white hair because he was almost certain they were somehow related in stupid situations like this.

Ree turned to him and frowned, wings lifting a bit defensively. "Yes" narrowing his eyes as if daring him to say anything.

"...." Narrows his eyes back. "Later" he warned blinking in confusion at the sudden relief instead of anger...oh.

"I agree with you, Hexxis. I am apprehensive as well... But they seem to have at least have gain some god-only-knows understanding in each other that is making what shouldn't work...work. " and he saw it, he couldn't deny there was a change in Ashral and a confirmation in her hatred for him. "So for the time being, to avoid even more ...misunderstands and deaths " he looked at them both. "You should come with me... It's not a trap. SIU is after all of us since Parley ..." He looked at Hexxis. "And you for stolen property " a grimace since that was the same on his warrant to. "You managed to find the renegade safe houses...I would like a map of that later...am I good in assuming you were hunting for me with them?"

Ree looked flustered then alarmed and finally worried, wings lowering again as he looked at Hexxis. If he left her there they wouldn't be looking ...but it would only have been a small time before Ashral just considered the contract broken and or they did something to them without Mara there. "Looking for you and Mara. I found lightning strikes and glass near the trailer and ozone. I assumed you were captured" his said curiously, eyes moving to the bruise on his face and the burns, but no other indications of damage from the way he carried himself....and the collar was missing...

Tri frown raising his hand up as if to either touch his face or neck but stopped. "They let me go. Mara is back at the base but she is not in charge. She will deal with helping Melody and Leukos escape. Kae is also missing." He took a step toward them now and waited to see their reactions. Their words the exhausted look on their faces combined with the blood on their clothes...He was incline to believe them. Their story was a mess...an utter mess which made him more in line to believe them. Either ways he wanted them with him....he didn't want to have to second guess his family.....he might have even done it even if Ree had purposely killed (Criel) if there was a good enough reason. His family wasn't big but that was what he was most loyal too... Including putting them in the right path if needed.

Hexxis slid her eyes to Ree as he hissed at her, her expression never changing as she blinked, then shifted her gaze back to Tri. He was suggesting they go with him. She didn't even seem phased at the insinuation of her being property, as she was. She nodded as he asked her for a map later of the bases. "I can draw it, or mark it on a map." she commented bluntly. She listened to their exchange, moving her gaze back and forth as she then landed on Ree. "We should go with him, brother. It is advantageous for us to stick together." Without much further explanation, she began to move toward Tri.

Tri watched her and relaxed, holding his hands out slightly if she wanted a hug. It was automatic, because he wanted to hug them, take them both away. Be relieved that they still cared even if that trust had been almost broken moments before.

Ree stared after her, wings shifting uncomfortably agains the ground before he finally moved after her and stuck his young out at her back.

"They let you go and Kae is missing?' He looked up again following Hexxis, "do I have to ask why? " he didn't smirk as he might have any other day, he jus watched him tiredly.

"... I don't know why they did. Zaku is odd...and Mara mentioned Kae's disapperences when she woke up. No one seems to be looking... So we will where we can. She saved you two..the is the least we can do"

Hexxis resisted every urge to start running as he offered a hug, only walking straight into his arms like she wasn't going to stop, wrapping her arms as far as they would go. She closed her eyes, just happy that the physical touch of his jacket seemed to be the only thing that soldified how real he was and that he was okay. She took a few moments before releasing again, her face still expressionless as she turned to look at Ree, her hand reflexively grabbing onto Tri's jacket. "Zaku healed me when I was deceased, and let me go as well. Even suggested he stay with me until SIU arrived to retrieve me. The other members convinced him otherwise.... However, I do feel he is very out of the ordinary." she mentioned to Tri. She nodded as he suggested they still look for Kae or at least keep an eye out for her.

Tri smiled cry faintly and bent over to returned her hug, mantling his wings over her protectively for as long as the hug lasted and pulled them back. Feeling more comfortable as she pulled on his jacket, as it it was right. "Zaku? How do you know that?" He glanced at them both, and the odd look Ree was giving him. He extended his middle wings out to the other meta and waited silently.

Ree took a step forward and brushed wings with him, not jealous of the hug he gave Hexxis. Hugs were just awkward between them. "Ash sent Hexxis the memories she had of that moments. " he said quietly.

Tri frowned faintly "She was dead?..." Something none of them had been able to explain up to then.

Hexxis nodded. "Yes, Ashral was able to pull my soul back with the help of Leukos. Ashral was still able to hear everything that happened during that time. She let me listen to it all in her memories." She explained. "Ree took notes of important key points."

Tri looked down at Hexxis seriously, looking at her duel colored eyes for ..something and not finding it. "... You three go into the metaphysical and lose me there " he shook his head, just glad it worked even if the implications were staggering as well the the shared memory. He wondered if it worked in the opposite way as well....was Ree actually right? Or was Ashral just doing this because of her self bounded contract? She was working along with Hexxis...

Looking at Ree he nodded faintly, brushing wings back "I would also like to see those encase there was anything we missed." before he motioned to the packs and waited. "Ready to port?" He glanced at them both while Ree's packs hovered up to him.

Hexxis gripped his jacket tighter, stepping closer as she looked to Ree then looked to Tri and nodded with a faint smile.

"Yes yes." but there was still a faint smile of relief and worry as he stepped closer. It didn't mean things were finished but at least they had a better ground on which to stand. It was sad to see how fast they could doubt each other....that was something to keep in mind from now on and see what can change it. Moving closer he pulled the packs to them.

Tri smiled faintly and shadow jumps them twice before reaching the hotel room he had rented.

"Hexxy.....Hexxy?" Ree muttered going glancing at the bathroom door then aclove with the sink.

Hexxis was laying on the bathroom floor, staring up at the ceiling. "The door is unlocked." she spoke in a robotic mutter. Her eye open red eye slid to the door within her view as she exhaled slowly, her face expressionless and unreadable.

Ree blinks and walked to the door only to stands outside uncomfortably. ".....Um That's okay. I can wait to tell you once your done. No hurry "

Ree moved back to the bed and spread out his wings to the fullest before crashing face first.

Hexxis stared at the door and blinked slowly. She closed her eyes for a few moments, reluctant to get up from the floor.

'What are you doing?'

"...It feels nice."

'You're weird.'

"And you are dead." There was silence, then Hexxis opened her red eye and came to a slow stand. Looking in the mirror, she looked like a mess. She took down her hair and wiped her face then exited the bathroom. Standing in the hallway with a blank expression, she stared at Ree laying on the bed. "I am... done."

Ree lifted his top and middle wings to observe her from under the arc.".......you need a new change of clothes ...and sleep " he muttered before his brain kick started. "Sorry, Uh Tri called" he pushed himself up to a sitting position. "He wants you and Ash to know that Haven is after both of you. There are orders for a transfer if you are caught. Experiments that deal with golden alters, soul separation and item removal. Also to be wary of a mercenary called Zephyr Kardos? " he blinked and leaned over to grab the tablet he was doing research on before he fell asleep. "Says he has a website. Wants us to memorize what he looks like so we can avoid him "

Hexxis had a flicker of emotion, relief and anticipation as Ree mentioned Tri but it quickly faded. She listened intently to his words, "Who is Haven?" she asked quietly but further information pointed to the answer. "..another facility.." she muttered.

'..item removal?..'

"...soul separation.."

Hexxis moved closer to the bed and sat on the edge, watching him. "Zephyr Kardos." she repeated, memorizing the name. As he grabbed a laptop, she held out a hand to take the tablet so she could see the picture. "What level is appropriate if I am forced to engage him?" she asked in a monotone voice, as she stared at the tablet in his hands.

"Haven? Ya another research center, if anything it is what most people consider to be the main center devoted to studying metas. Of course with them studying and butchering can be interchanged. They don't use metas so much as try to see how they tick until they die. " he frowned watching her repeat the words. "Soul separation might sound like a good thing but if they are researching it..it's not because they found a fool proof way or even have anything other than curiosity" he frowned remembering a lot of the files he read on the true race experimentations.

Handing over the tablet he watched her and shook his head. "Tri said he was a meta and maybe unpredictable....So level 2 all the way up to ash if need be? I think Tri said it more for you to run than fight"

Hexxis seemed completely unphased as he spoke of Haven butchering Metas for experimentation, as she simply nodded lightly at the comment about soul separation. "Very logical that they have not perfected it, find test subjects. Highly likely why my project would be transferred. High sought after since I am confirmed to have a Malice." Her eyes were focused on the tablet, scrolling through the information and taking note of the picture, it only took a single glance for her to memorize every feature of his face. She also took note of the list of places he normally frequented that was proudly displayed on the page. Nightblubs, Taverns, Pubs. "Mm." she acknowledged with a hum as she passed the tablet back. "Run first. If all other options exhausted, use level 2 to 5 as situation escalates. I understand." she confirmed.

"Yep....that's likely the reason" he said undisturbed by her lack of reaction, just as long as she knew and understood. She was very similiar to Tri in these cases or himself sometimes. Watching the back of the tablet and the soft glow on her face from the light he stuffled a yawn. "We should fine somewhere safer to sleep" wondering if she had slept at all since arriving and doubting it after the reaction last time...both their reactions. Taking it back when she handed it to him he glanced down at the page she was looking at. "...huh, well darn can't take you club hopping. " he smirked faintly before she confirmed the order. "Oh...use 5 directly if you really need to. It really depends on the situation and if a quick offense will allow you to survive " he frowned. "Also he found Kae " purposely leaving that for last even if he didn't think it would affect her to strongly as it did him. "She is at the Renegade house. Injured by haven...Maybe broken mentally as well" the tiredness faded as a hint of anger seeped into his voice.

She merely stared at him, possibly unamused or maybe confused as he mentioned finding somewhere safer to sleep. She was silent for a bit until he made a joke about club hopping. "I was hoping you would take me to a bar so that I can experience what is like to slowly poison myself with liquid meant to make me happy but in truth is a depressant. I find the topic interesting." she responded in a monotone voice with no indication of emotion behind it as she seemed completely serious about her statement. She moved on from the subject after blinking at him blankly for a moment., "Access level commands adjusted. Direct to 5 if needed." she spoke robotically, turning to face him completely. He spoke of Kae and she remained silent, possibly thinking or just waiting. Then she spoke, "Hostage?" she shook her head. "Unlikely........... But by who?"

Ree stared at her and started to laugh. "Oh goodness.." He snickered and pat her with a wing. " So cute! Out of all of us...Mara is likely the best bet to take you out drinking. Depressant or not. If you wait a while she likely won't even get angry by the scientific facts because she will drink until you don't make sense " he grinned. "Except you might have to wait until you can at least pass for an adult and not a kid" not sure if she was kidding or not, so he took it the playful way...and it was cute. At least until she pulled the topic back to Kae, but this time he just looked worried. "Haven. They had her even so they shouldn't have. She's a True Race ....they are protected now...unless they really didn't care for the consequences as long as th were able to question the mother of metas" putting the tablet down he shook his head. "Tri will contact us if he thinks she needs saving. Other wise he will likely come back home when he is done and fill us in himself" a faint frown as he reached up to play with the crystal that hung around his neck absently. "How...are you feeling?"

Hexxis listened to his comment about Mara taking her drinking and that she'd have to pass an adult, a very faint smile of amusement on her face before that too faded. As the topic was on Kae she nodded in understanding. "...mother?.." she whispered softly almost thoughtfully then shook the thought. She exhaled heavily as her expression stayed dull as he asked how she was feeling. "At the moment, I feel regulated. I do have one concern. Earlier, I felt anger. My throat hurt and I had an urge to punch something very hard." she explained plainly. "It was for only a moment, but I have never felt that way before... then again, I have been feeling a lot of new mental states. I don't know if that is something you can help me understand or whether you comprehend what I am trying to convey."

'You are so freaking weird... You do know, you're not a machine, right?'

Hexxis frowned only slightly then sighed, turning away. "Nevermind, I have the feeling maybe this is all too personal."

Ree watched her and let his smile drop even if it was hard as he leaned to look at her. "Anger? Do not compute. Unit has calculated 98% chance of error in Hexxis-Unit self-diagnosis. Emotion chip not available with Hexxis-units... Warning warning 78% chance Hexxis-unit is a fake. Warning. Desist all communications, do not wish to be infected with abnormality. Anger and all subsequent emotions will not be tolerated by the Hive " he said trying to keep a straight face but was already smiling by the end it out with a mischievous look in his eyes before holding his hands up, "Sorry sorry ..." Still looking amused and not at all sorry. "So you were angry. Normal emotion for you to have. What were you angry about?" Ignoring her try to avoid the subject now.

Hexxis stared at him blankly as he spoke, seemingly mocking her though jokingly. She didn't seem bothered or phased. "I am not a unit or a hive. I am an experiment... a project for Meta weaponization." she shook her head a bit, "It cannot be computed as an abnormality when there is no standard for processing. Although, I was conditioned to not feel such excess of emotions. So it is something that would understandably cause alarm or at least intrigue." she listened to him apologize, and she nodded in agreement. "I do not know what I would have to be angry about. It was when you are Ashral were talking about where we would like to go. The feeling was sudden and faded as quickly as it had surfaced."

"......." Ree sigh softly "You were conditioned because long ago you actually felt emotions strongly just like any of us." he motioned to himself then waved at the rest of the room. "Now, that conditioning is starting to crack a little here a little there. That is a good thing. I won't say it will change who you are at your base but it has started. Like your sudden interest in cooking, your application to taking on Tri's last name and your sudden feeling of anger. It shows you are growing and healing, because a weapon is just a thing with none of that. Its function is to be used when needed then stored for another time, it has no will, no desires, or goals. You were hatched a person, not a weapon. You are supposed to experience all of those emotions good and bad...you are the Handler of the weapon not a weapon for someone else." he rested his arms on his knees as he leaned forward. "So... I think you felt anger maybe even jealousy. Am I sure? Nope because I am not Hexxis, that is what makes you you. Your ability to decide or even not to, to feel,to remember, to strive. It is your soul and weapons don't have that. So...think about it. Were you angry because you wanted to go somewhere? Or be with someone or wanted something else all together? Hopefully it wasn't just to punch me ..." He smiled and lifted his hands slightly in playful surrender.

Hexxis paused, listening to him talk, explaining how it was normal for her to feel emotions, trying to break down the conditioning of her thought process of how she viewed those emotions. In the end, she didn't fully understand what the feelings were, but hung on to the idea that she was supposed to experience all of those emotions, good and bad. She blinked at him, dull-faced as she absorbed the information, nodding in understanding. "I do not fully comprehend but I understand the concept." She tilted her head slightly as he suggested anger or jealousy. He began to ask her why she was angry. Shifting her gaze away, she thought for a moment. "I was angry because you and Ashral are very close. It is a possibility that I desire closeness to others, while conflicted by my desire for isolation that I had grown so accustomed to. Perhaps, a strange concept, I want to feel more emotions, experience anything new that I can just like Ashral said, but I have apprehension for what might come of those emotions. Could that hinder my ability to think clearly as it had for you? Will I make mistakes and cost others their lives? I had a lot of time to think on those questions and yet I still find the answer is unknown." she looked at him, a slight frown on her face. "Part of me complies to the weapon I was raised to be, the other wants to know what it's like to run until my lungs give out and not out of fear for what is giving chase, but simply because I had wanted to."

Ree watched her silently wincing at the mention of his own mistakes and thinking clearly. That he couldn't answer for her at all "Maybe in 30 years yes..you will be changed from what you are now. I can't tell you to be the weapon or be the person. Other than to learn to put on a mask.one will be the person the other the weapon..either they will mix or they will stay separate. You are trying to b the person..I am trying to learn to be a weapon. " he said quietly, pain in his eyes. "Someone else would say to strive for living without fear for doing what you want...but at the same time. We're not human. We don't have the luxury to choose. We are hunted or hunting ...or we die "

Hexxis expression softened a bit as she smiled faintly. "I understand now." she took a deep breath and looked to the floor. "I want to find the line between both. Experience all that I can, learn all that I can. However, I know what I am at my base, and unfortunately, that is a weapon. Yet, I know that not all weapons are bad. It's how they are used that decides their purpose." she smiled a little more then scooted over and laid down with her head in his lap. "I just want to live."

Ree blinked in surprise before it faded to worry as he ran his fingers through her hair in a comforting way. "Then just live....and forge your own path" blinking at the odd wording that came to mind but it fit. Slowly he relaxed and let a faint smile reach his face, Hexxis worried him...but at least she seemed to have a tentative goal now.

Tri pulled up out of the shadows, headset still on as he reformed and looked around. Blinking in faint surprise as he saw Hex-ash? Resting her head on Ree's lap as Ree would sometimes do with him. "Ree. Hexxis?" He frowned, rethinking this but catching their attention anyways.

Hexxis darted her eyes to Tri who had formed in the room, a small smile on her face as she sat up, "Tri." she came to a stand and move to him, hugging him.

Tri showed a flicker of worry as he leaned down and hugged her. Ree stood up slowly alert as he looked toward the headset. "We're going after her? ...what did they do?" Blue eyes narrowed then soften as Hexxis moved to Tri.

"One of their strongest members hit her somehow....they believed she was dead but wasn't? I want to make sure it stays that way. I don't think they want to kill her ... But Zaku wasn 't in charge of much of what I heard . The others are what I expect of a normal hostage situation. "

Hexxis' smile faded into a deadpan and calculating expression. "Hostage situation. Zaku possible bystander. Rescue mission?" she spoke out to Tri, taking a few steps back and then looking to Ree.

"Yes. A rescue mission. I know where she is held but I didn't fare well the last time I went against the meta that is with her. Michael nor their shadow user Cordellia " he glanced up at Ree. " Added that there is the mercenary ...plus all the other Renegades. Hit and run distractions would suit us best . Enough for me to shadow in grab her and move out "

Hexxis nodded. "Draw them out, play a game of cat and mouse to cause a distraction."

Tri looked back down at Hexxis."I think you should stay here...Ree and I can teleport and we only need a few seconds. If they know your commands you will also be a liability "

Ree frowned faintly "Unless I take off her collar and you stay out of sight. Without it Ash won't be hindered "

Tri glared at him. "...that is a lot more dangerous "

Hexxis remained silent, staring at Tri then Ree. No emotions on her face as she just stared silently, then stared at the floor.

'Let me help.'

Hexxis seemed to narrow her eyes and took a deep breath. Focusing her eyes on Tri, "Let me go. If not to help, but to stay together. If you think it's too dangerous, I can keep my distance and aid if things get too bad." she insisted a determined glimmer in her eye.

Tri looked thoughtful then nodded "That can work, if you stay where I was hiding you can give backup to Ree if he needs it " he looked at Ree carefully and sigh mentally, they still needed more rest but Kae suddenly appearing and being attacked was not something any of them expected. He would have waited until nightfall...maybe even talked to Zaku but he feared that it might be to later. "With the collar on "

Ree shook his head and looked at Hexxis "If she does back me up. It is a big liability and I can't teleport her with me "

Hexxis looked back and forth between them, it seemed Ree was intent on letting Ashral be uncollared, while Tri felt that was too big of a risk, an opinion she shared with him. She tried to think of some compromise but there was hardly one. "I can still run." she retorted. "I am also capable of jumping high. I'm small and dexterous. If I can escape SIU on my own, then I can do this."

Ree turned to her and shook his head. "I am not questioning your abilities...just the commands. Kae had a reason for not shouting out your commands back at the base..but if she had you would have gone to sleep in the middle of a battle..."

"If it was just the Renegades...there would be no problem " he sigh, yea...-just- the Renegades hah.

Hexxis tensed just slightly but relaxed, her cold dead stare at Ree. "Ashral is no different. They have commands for her too." She turned her gaze to Tri, she opened her mouth to speak then hesitated. Shifting her eyes slightly, she then looked at Tri once again. "Do you want me to stay here?"

'What are you doing?!'

Hexxis hummed very lightly, trying to drown on Ashral's voice in her mind, waiting for Tri to answer.

Ree returned it with a hot one of his own "The one for you has been spilled around all over the place " he hissed softly, narrowing his gaze when she looked away.

Tri looked at the interaction between them, his wings and gaze steady. "... I would like you to help him. But to keep the collar on "

Hexxis turned to look at Ree, narrowing her eyes, glints of anger in them.

Tri shook his head "It is a risk but if the mercenary joins in back away with or without Kae. "

"If we are still there when they attack, it has already been to long. Just in and out. Poke the hive and back off Ree. Hexxis..you back him up encase someone jumps out fast and he can't get away. But move them back away from the house. "

Hexxis shifted her gaze to Tri and nodded. "Understood." She glanced over to Ree, a twinge still in her eyes before they softened slightly and she faintly frowned then looked away.

The anger didn't leave Ree's eyes as he looked away and to Tri. "Backing away isn't exactly the easiest thing to do with the cream of the renegades after you pissed off or what ever. Teleporting saved me multiple times at Parley, Hexxis can only run and hide ..and if Blaise I don't know decides to burn half an acre of forest in a flash? Do we go oops then? "

"Yes...Teleporting is also why you are now hunted by every city on Teraterra. Stay or come. Decide. She saved both your lives so I will repay that for you whether you help me or not. What you are suggesting is a massacre by allowing Ash out uncollared. Maybe not of you or them but at least of those she can get close to " he stared at Ree wings lifting slightly in anger.

Hexxis narrowed her eyes while staring at the ground, instead of anger, there was pain. Visible and unguarded. She sighed and walked off to the bathroom and shut the door, locking it and she slid down against it, sitting down as she pulled her legs up to her chest and rested her head on her knees as she wrapped her arms around her legs.

Ree blinked and his wings lowered slightly before lifting again. "I also ....." he turned to watch her head into the bathroom and close it as the lock snapped into place. "....."

Tri narrowed his eyes at Ree angrily. "Seems she decided for you. " he shook his head. "Let's go "

Tri reached for the comms that were charging and tossed one at Ree who caught it silently.

Hexxis just stayed quiet in the bathroom, just trying to think, waiting for them to just leave. She just wanted it to be quiet again.

After a minute or two there was silence.

There was only silence as Cordelia shadowed away. Ree held up the card shakily in his hand and pocket it before falling back down and glaring in Tri's direction. Insanity, Cordelia said? he could believe it considering he was acting all trusting before, but it didn't change what he was feeling. Fear, betrayal and anger flared up with the pain coursing through his body making him want to actually cry or scream or just hide under his wings. Tri would have killed Hexxis ..would have killed him. Tried to.

Tri rubbed his arm tiredly and stood up while keeping an eye on Ree. Guilt pulled ahead of his worry and confusion as he focused only at the moment. "..." he didn't know what to say, he didn't even remember doing anything other than trying to get aw-...a girl touching his face?.

He ran his hand through his hair then lowered it after seeing Ree bare his teeth. " Ar...." he stopped, no of course he wasn't. "...." he shook his head slightly wanting to move to him but the look warned him away. "I don't know what happened. I was getting away from Michael, phased out of the wall fell and now wake up here" he said bluntly, uncomfortable since he didn't know what else to say but the truth even when his own handiwork was in evidence on one of the people he cared for. It made him sick, sick at himself

Ree glared as the burns on his skin very slowly lightning as he stopped tired. "You tried to kill me. You tried to kill Cordelia who looked like Hexxis.... you likely were chasing Mara to kill her too" he looked up at Tri pushing himself up and angrily grabbed on to his own shaking arm to make it stop. Trying to keep his anger instead of going cold.

"Cordelia said you were crazy, I was under something to, but at least I knew not to attack those I know!" maybe it was unfair, he hadn't been able to fight what ever had happen to him, he was never even aware. So unaware he trusted an EE member for goodness sake and was lucky she pulled through. No truthfully he was freaked out because for that moment Tri had seemed sane with him and distraught with Hexxis patting her head even as he analyzed how to kill her.

Watching him Tri slowly knelt on the ground, he had no idea where they were but so far it looked safe. "Ree, listen to me. I do not remember what I did..what happened at all. " he said quietly, his mind catching on to the mention of Mara with a flicker of fear but he pushed it down for the moment."However, I wouldn't take what I did as any hidden desire to actually hurt any of you." he kept his voice even trying to calm him down even as he had no idea how to actually fix this.

"....Then tell me who is Estrian? Grey storm of blood? crying..." he pulled his top wings around his body looking away finally.

He missed the looked of alarm on Tri's face as the other meta closed his hands into a fist. He said that? damn it! What point was hiding it now? He shouldn't have hidden it so long anyways and now he told him when he was tapped into his own fears. "Your other parent. A healer in Hinale and a target. He is the one who killed the unit Mara and I were in. He almost killed me but regain his sanity a bit later and healed me instead. " the glow in his eyes dull slightly as he continued.

"He loses his sanity and ki......" he blinked and looked at Ree's injured, he did that ..he tried to kill him? just like Est did? " you can't reason with him. The items I gave you to choose..was to hopefully prevent that. " he continued forcing himself to look up. "Estrian tried to get me to stay when I was healed up. He... no, we tried it, we summoned you and I stayed for a week. yet, I couldn't just leave what I tried to start nor could I just leave you so I took you with me. He is still alive and fine last I heard of him. Kai would sometimes tell me when I visited" he went emotionless just watching him and staying where he was.

".......So....." he shook his head, tried to say something and just lowered his head and shook it again. "You never knew how to say something like that emphatically ..." he went quiet at the realization of Tri's preference and looked faintly uncomfortable. " So you loved and left....and never even told me. Then.. you fear me... you've always feared me? darn it Tri!!!" he looked up wings pulling away, already emotional and wanting to leave but he wasn't like Hexxis.

"....I may have worried you inherited that. You didn't. You are as you are, a little selfish, annoying, kind, prideful, clever, ambitious, happy. Protective of those you care about. I didn't want to change you or Hexxis to be what Mara and I are, even if you are both already heading in that direction. " he looked very uncomfortable. "I fear for both of you... what has happened.. everything since Parely has not been very lucky for us but we're still alive. That is what was most important to me... Estrian had me choose between him and you and Mara. Neither would accept the other, he knew I wouldn't leave without you ..so I chose."

"....I was just a pawn piece then" he left out a soft pained laugh as he looked down at the blue feather of his wings. " manipulative... I guess I got that from...him. " he lowered his wings and sighed but said nothing more for quite sometime as he stared at the blue edges of his wings.

"You shadow jumped after hitting the ground. Cordelia came to me looking like you and had me show her to the hotel room." wondering why he didn't figure it out when she hugged him so many times, feeling a pain in his heart as he thought about it and her crying face. " We found Hexxis note. Calling herself a burden and not wanting to inconvenience us further. Cordelia returned to her normal shape then offered to help me find her before Haven did. She was crying....but I really wanted to see you. So she took us to ..Norcrest" realizing only now how powerful Cordelia had to be in that skill for her to be able to make it here then still leave them using the same thing.

Shaking his head slightly, feeling numb he continued. "Right into the base as she disguised herself. We saw you getting attacked by the prototype armors while chasing after Mara. Mara tried to get them to stop but they shot at you. I teleported and tried to protect you and suddenly we were teleported and you attacked us ...then ...now" he waved to the grass, looking up as the wind picked up and blew some loose leaves around them.

Tri looked away again, listening but fearful. He focused on what was said in disbelief, Hexxis ran away, and EE member helped out and Mara, who he hoped was okay, saw them. This was like a dream but he couldn't delude himself into thinking of it as one, everything was real and on top of it all he couldn't remember anything. He might have also questioned Ree being like Cordelia, another shifter, but then why mention it at all.

Pushing himself to his feet he looked at Ree and took a step toward him, noticing he didn't react now. " I am sorry..." he trailed off looked pained, wings drooping along with his two injured ones, they needed to find a place to rest for a while and head back to look for Hexxis....the thing was if Ree would join him or leave. He didn't doubt Ree could survive alone, he knew most of the dangers and how to avoid them, it just hurt him that he would leave now after what he said even if he had all right.

".... " Ree shook his head and got up slowly, his good hand holding his trembling one and just started walking. "(place) ....there is a safe house near by. " he muttered dully and just walked, wings trailing behind him hearing Tri's foot steps follow nearly a minute later.

Training At The Edge of Darkness

Trigger: blood, gore

Road kill

The carcasses of unfortunate animals were not an uncommon sight along one the roads they flew over. So when they had finally stopped for a rest in a secluded clearing he pulled away after their quick snack of granola bars while the other two talked about programming,

A few minutes later he found the carcass of a rabbit he had dragged along when they started to move in for a landing. The front half was nearly gone and most of the inside that he could see were a dark red tar of coagulated blood and flies, many flies that persisted even when it had been dragged down the road.

Letting out a soft sigh as he pulled it with him back toward the trees. A bubble of teleketic force and a push got rid of most of the fly problem and left him alone with just the carcass. Crouching down he took a breath grimacing at the smel as he stared at it. Reaching out mentally he tried to seperate the skin from the rest of the body without touching. Imitating a certain meta at parley...it wasn't pure force it was subtile like how he used his own skills..subtile in one of the worst ways possible.

A shiver ran through him as he stared and kept trying, ripping into the carcass or pulling pieces of meat along with the skin. After an hour he had a bloody mess on the ground and just a blank feeling. He seen worse, much worse than what he done here. It was dead..it was only when it was still alive that it affected him.

"Darn it..." He muttered and closed his eyes for a moment to rest, thinking before sitting back up and resting his fingers on a bloody piece of meat that still has fur and skin connected. He closes his eyes and sensed along with his healing power, oh! There! Right there! if he snipped...that. Opening his eyes and keeping connection with his healing powers he slowly seperated the skin from the meat. "...." The tired look of triumph was quickly replaced by disgust.

He had to practice this until he could do it without relying on his healing power...he couldn't deny this is what made that other telekinetic meta feared but he also wanted to learn how to counter it if needed...but first he needed to know how to do it....it was a weapon on he wanted to add to his arsenal. As well as ...."....fire " he muttered dropping the skin and switching to staring at the air above it, not sure what he was trying to do other than make pieces of dirt and leaves float up an shake. Heat up the air and make fire? Was that even possible? Well one success was more than what he hoped for today...he will just keep on trying and practicing as they made their way to Aldas.

"Ree.....What are you doing?"

Wings tensed as he looked back, eyes widening in alarm as he meet Tri's carefully blank look. "......practicing. It was already dead. " he said quickly and got up so he could take a closer look..see it was true. Wanting him to believe it was true..he didn't kill it.

"One of the murder squad members..he had a similiar skill to mine. " he started then frown, wings lifted up defensively.

Tri just looked down at the bloody mess of the carcass and sighed, flickers of regreat hidden as he stared at the remains. He was failing at all this...they weren't supposed to change so much "Something bigger next time, and closer to us for safety." Not sounding like he was against it."We have to move, let's go"

Sometimes I wonder what I am after, while other times I know exactly what I do. It feels like bits a pieces of me are pulling one way while others pull at another. I lack a goal..I lack ambition. I don't want to be stuck where I am but at the same time I don't know where to focus and i'm to stubborn to follow someone's orders blindly. I want to dig my claws into something, rage , or dance. Maybe I am just crazy.. I don't even understand myself or why I am still here.

I can see why the renegades fight and agree with their reasons if not their methods but at the same time I also understand a bit of the humans, some humans at least and why they react. I had a goal for after parley... but now that is ash in the wind.

I claimed a malice as a sister and as mine..what ever the means. I inspired then pushed away my other sister all in less than a few minutes and lost her. Now my thoughtlessness has possibly broken another meta that has nothing to do with this.

For the one trying to survive as their only goal, I wonder if she has learned there is more than just that by now. I only partially understand why you left but didn't you understand that what you did was done at the worst possible moment? That you broke what trust I could have had with you and even if you were to appear right now it would be a hard fix. I can only see three of us trying to find you while being hunted ourselves while you are somewhere only because you assumed that we didn't care. We're not a normal family, we're not even close to ideal but we only have each other and trust is important. Tri loves you.. I was trying to understand you even when I was jealous myself

For the one I claimed as mine... your darkness suffocates but you been showing me the brightness hidden within and given me your loyalty. I only hope I can return it...can you keep up the dance with me? do you even want to? I can't be what you need the most, but maybe we can anchor each other.

For the one breaking near me...dim light. I am sorry... I don't know how to help you other than to stumble through it. I lack your perspective of what has been so natural to me since I hatched. I will try to answer your questions... and hope you don't break permanently.

Tri....I still don't know what to think of what you told me. It is easier to act like nothing has changed ...because after thinking about it nothing really has. Other than knowing my other parent... you are still a mess in social interactions like always...even so for you to love a target is unusual. If I were to ask would you just chalk it up to being young? and how about Est..did he care? or was I really just a pawn.

Mara ...we dance but now we switched. Do you still think I did it?
I thought about what happened for a long time, I can't really prove my innocence I can only find a place to hide or hide behind, or somehow show I am more valuable the way I am. The likelihood of that is pretty low...turning myself in would do nothing other than give them someone to kill or experiment on. I wonder what you would think of it... but you only talk to Tri... why?
