CynHimawari2828 Sailor pandabear suggestion/ question: will there be a battle system or something? maybe an introductory thread that states rules, locations, stuff like that? I was wondering the same thing. On top of that, there should be a noted limit in stats, health, battle points (the pp stuff in the games), and things like that. Like let's say that lv1-10 pokemon should have a maximum of 60hp. You go over that amount, you're crossing the god-mode line. You know, all for the sake to state what's fair and keep from god-moding (since this is an rp guild, and god-mode is that last thing you want). How many times do I have too say no stats?

Well, er, I didn't mention any stats but I wonder... what is the system of battling? do you want people to take turns or what? if you are not using stats then what will the mode of role-play be like? Could you please provide some examples of things you would like us to post? I am only asking to clarify things.

CynHimawari2828 Akemi Mercuraki http://rdi.dragonsmark.com/getting_started.php Ok, fair enough. Still don't really understand how that really plays out, since in all honesty the only role playing I know of is the, what, "original/traditional/basic". Have an example on hand of a free form rp, like an excerpt? Would like to know how to properly play this, after all. Also, how do levels even work here, then? Technically that is basic and original. It's simple and roleplaying existed before stats and before the internet even. Edit: Decided by people. of course..Obviously you can't do it though if the staff doesn't think so...

So what you are saying is that levels are a case-by-case sort of thing, then? I guess don't forget to post in the events.

No, I didn't mean that YOU said anything about stats, I meant in ADDITION to what you said. xp I was talking to Akemi...

CynHimawari2828 Here's a suggestion that might save a lot of time and could be used in the beginning of every rp post: a link to list of rules. Since more than likely it will eventually come to be a mass confusion for those that didn't originally read about the whole free role play thing in the guild entrance (I just thought that the guild was free entry and an rp), maybe an update to the rules thread is needed? (noticed there is NOTHING in there; also you used the wrong word, it's "where" not "wear", that one's for clothes). We could put all of the general rules for the rps there, then when starting an rp, that rules thread is linked on the very first post of the rp. If there should ever be an rp that is special, like for example: I read about a user wanting to do gajinkas, THIS would be a special case since I understand she could only do that if she were a crew member since you don't want to do any of those. For something like that is when the author of the rp would write out the rules in the first post. A list of special cases could be written out in the second post or something of the rules thread and we could mention that bit of rules having to be written in the first post, just like how it would be part of the rules to add the link to the first post for normal rps. This could save a lot of time and space for rps, really. That, and people would finally know what to do. If you want, I could proof read the rules thread when an update is done so there won't be any grammatical errors and then there won't be any confusion? I was also thinking that on there, the rules thread, that link to that free role play explanation page could be added. I'm sure I wasn't the first nor will be the last to come to this guild and not know what the heck that was about. That too could save a lot of time. There already is a rule thread.

I haven't looked through here thoroughly yet. But making a Discord can be helpful. If you already did I apologize.
It can makes things alot easier. Plus you can make a discord the OOC or planning to save gold for Roelplay threads and areas. I know a Discord is not for everyone. And if you decide not to use it, then I understand.

The weclomes double as the oocs. Did you join the one piece one too?
