Blank stifled a chuckle; apparently battling wasn't going to be a problem, if she was this eager about it. He glanced questioningly at Professor Sycamore. "Do you have any Pokémon for her to battle against?"
In response, Sycamore led them to the lab's battle area, then brought out a Bulbasaur for Blaze to try her luck against. Once Blank had scanned Blaze with his Pokédex real quick in order to determine her moveset, they began.
The Bulbasaur started by firing off a Razor Leaf; Blank, in response, began instructing Blaze in a calm, collected tone and a poker face that would've made card sharks green with envy. "Dodge that Razor Leaf attack, then use Flamethrower."

The Bulbasaur yelped as it was caught in the Flamethrower, hastily rolling in an attempt to douse the flames; however, rather than giving the Bulbasaur a chance to recover, Blank spoke his next orders, still cool and collected. "Tail Whip. Then follow up with Quick Attack."
