Lumikani stilled, her arms falling as she turned back to Zandala to meet the sister face to face.

"I do not expect any earthling to show such a faith, but I would never refuse the notion if they showed faith equal or beyond our own to the Great Mother or Cousin. Maybe a better example would be hybrids..." Her shoulder shrugged, "Many sisters here refuse hybrids...and yet hybrids were bloomed. Just as I was bloomed with a smaller body, the hybrids were chosen to bloom no matter their blood. They were given a great blessing...I accept those who follow our ways...but those that do not-

Her eyes narrowed and she all but snarled, "I will kill anyone, hybrid or sister, who has forsaken our Great Mother and Cousin."

She added the cousin as a second thought, as Aisha still came first to her mind, but she was clear with her words. Even if it was Anya, she would kill one who took such a blessing and turned their back. That was her feelings on the matter. Black and white.

Turning, her features relaxed into her normal face as she looked Zandala up and down, "Our great cause wasn't caused by compliance. Naturally, we all will hold our own views and opinions. It is our faith that drew us here, and it is our faith that will continue to bind us together." She said with a wave, before smiling, "Beside, you are one of the few tolerable sister outside of the battlefield. I'd hope a little disagreement on views would simply inspire discussion, and nothing more..

Zandala’s features pinched as Hybrids were mentioned. She personally did not like them; she’d seen few back on Chibale and had never associated with them. Hybrids were a complex issue for Zandala, she did not trust them but at least they weren’t as bad as the Earthlings. But not by much and only because the Great Mother had bloomed them. Zandala would ever associate with any of them and would avoid one if they ever came to camp.

“I would too.” Zandala agreed. Anyone who walked away from the Great Mother, be it Aisha or Elzira, was dead to her. She would not hesitate to also make them dead if required.

“Disagreements are healthy,” Zandala chuckled, even offering Lumi a smile as her features flattened out again. “I just hope that the faith of our other sisters is strong enough and that our cousins will grow up with this same strong sense of faith.” Rolling her shoulders, Zandala began to back up the extra arrows back into their quiver.

“Let us speak no more of Hybrids and faith, dinner will be soon. Care to join me?”

Lumikani found herself nodding, and actually quite pleased with the discussion despite the obvious disagreements between the two. It meant that they could have healthy conversation without hurt feelings or bloodshed, which was always a nice thing when the area was filled with such bloodthirsty women.

"I am quite famished from my travels, and a warm meal would be quite appreciated. You still need to tell me of your reasons for taking up the bow, considering you were so conflicted last we spoke. Let's speak more of it over dinner."

She bounced slightly on the balls of her feet, ready to keep moving and keep the discussion going to more tame topics. As always, Zandala was quite the refreshing sister to be around, and Lumikani felt a nice kinship with the younger warrior.

“Yes of course,” Zandala chuckled. “Wait for me here.” Picking up a jog, she went and picked up the arrows that were stuck to the tree. Those too were placed into the quiver before she went back to Lumikani’s side. If she had been back home she would have left the arrows for more practice later, but here she could not since she didn’t know who could also get their hands on them. “Alright I am ready.” As always, Zandala let the older Alkidike take the lead. Once they were out of the clearing and into the forest again, she spoke up.

The taller Alkidike was happy not to have offended Lumikani. She disliked putting older sisters at her back because of something so silly. Zandala was well aware of the difference between a discussion and a battle and she did not get that same blood high from words as she did taking something or someone down. She knew some of the sisters used their words like their did their blades, but Zandala felt words were too empty to cut and she was glad Lumikani hadn’t seem affected by their conversation.
