Entry: Ziron had recently become a father of two, having decided to start a family with a daydream they had met. However, it was becoming clear to them that the hybrid would like to have another child, this time an adopted one. Reason for this? Ziron had been taken in by the academy, so they wanted to take a child in like the academy had done for them. Seemed like a good enough reason right? Besides, Ziron loved being a father, and they knew Winterbloom loved being a mother. The two of them had a tiny chat about it, and it would seem the dryad was okay with another child in the family house the two of them planned to move their family into.

Coming to the orphanage, Ziron began to look around for any freshlings that caught their attention. So far there was no one in particular, but they did find all of the children to be special all in their own special ways. Near the end of their trip though, Ziron noticed a freshling playing with some of the others at the table, sculpting with what seemed to be clay. It wasn't exactly the child themselves that caught Ziron's attention, but what the child was sculpting. It was a vespercat, and the child was really good at it too. Seemed as if the freshling had a gift, one that Ziron had always admired since they were a freshling themselves.

Ziron made their way over to the table, sitting down with all the children and smiling at them all. Seemed like they all liked sculpting with this colored clay, but the freshling that caught their attention was exceptional at it ", Would you mind if I joined all of you? It is looking like you are all having fun."

"Sure you can," the freshling Ziron was interested in replied with a grin, handing them some clay to work with. Looked as if the child was the leader of this group of freshlings, catching Ziron's attention more. Would it be okay to take this child away from their friends? After a bit of discussion, Ziron learned that the freshling in question was the leader, but really wanted to be a part of a family. That was promising, and gave Ziron a calm feeling for if they did decided to take this child home.

Do Not's: Zenobia would accept any child, but would really love one with some potential in Magic!

Entry:

Zenobia had spent a majority of her adult life alone. Since leaving her home to attend Grendel she'd managed to successfully open her own shop. She'd been living quite contentedly on her own for some time now. She was happy really. It was a peaceful lifestyle and one that allowed her to go about her whims as she saw fit. Lately though, she'd been wanting to pass on her gifts to someone else. Much like she had her own mentor growing up, her adopted father. She was starting to feel a desire to be much like him.

And so she made plans to visit the orphanage. She never really considered imbuing her own stone. She always knew that when the day came that she wanted a child she'd adopt. It was a pretty simple matter considering she'd been adopted herself at a young age. She loved her father no less than she would have loved her real parents if she'd ever known them. Hopefully, she'd be just as good a parent as she was. She had a bad habit of being a little too creepy around kids though. It probably had something to do with her clothes...and the intentionally creepiness to keep the trouble makers away from her shop and home.

For the day she had left her cloak at home and dressed in a more...formal manner. her hair was pulled back into pony tails and she tried very hard not to keep her usual creepy smile on her face. When she tried she could actually be rather good with children, after all she did actually have a passion to be a mother and a mentor. It was her dream to have her child take over her potions shop, to have a companion for her travels, and ultimately to teach someone everything she knew about magic.

It turns out she had picked a really good day to show up at the orphanage. They had a little talent show going on for the kids there. That also meant there were a lot of other potential parents about that day. She sat down in the crowd of parents and other children wishing to be adopted and watched as a stream of talented kids took the stage. Some of them had jokes, recited poetry, played music, but one kid in particular really caught her attention.

They were doing magic! Well, not real magic. They were still too young for that. But your typically fun card tricks and other simple gimmicks. They seemed to have a really passion for their art however, one that she really felt she could connect with. After the show was over she sought out the kid from others, smiling at their magician outfit. It was all too adorable.

"You did a really good job up there! I can tell you really love magic." Zenobia had her best smile on, the one that wasn't totally creepy as she talked to the kid in front of her. They seemed a bit skeptic at first, always good to be on your toes! But eventually they opened up.

"I really do! It's a whole lot of fun! One day I'll learn real magic too!" Zenobia couldn't have been happier with that reply. Maybe she could show off some of her own skills while she was at it.

"I really love magic as well. In fact, I have my own Magic shop! Would you like to see?" That definitely seemed to excite the kid. Zenobia, not so secretly, loved showing off her magic. Even if it was something as her illusion magic. She couldn't do anything too elaborate without attracting a lot of attention and right now there was only on kid whose attention she desired.

"I really like birds you know. How they can fly and travel so far in such a short time." She waved her hands and little ethereal birds began to fly around them. "What's something that you like?"

"Butterflies! Their wings are so pretty!" Zenobia smiled and slowly the birds flying around them morphed into butterflies. The excitement she saw in the kids eyes was enough to win her over her. "How would you like to learn magic from me? At my home? With me as your Mom?" There was a lot of excitement on both sides. Hugging and some more flashy magic. Then she went in search for the proper things she'd need to take care of to actually take them home.
