He tried to walk away, but it wasn't working, because Miranda was clinging to him like a leech, and every step that Caspian made only dragged her with him. He lifted his other hand and pushed at hers, trying to pry them away from their death grip.
"Stop that!" he yelped. "I'm not getting you candy! Get yer own damn candy!"

For a brief moment she thought about pleading her case by biting the arm she was currently latched on to for dear life, but impulse control kicked in just before she was about to do it.
Instead she butted her forehead against his upper arm, "BUT CASSSSSSPPPIAAANNNNNN!!"
"YOU OWE ME AFTER THE MURDERING TOOK PLACE UPON MY PERSON," Miranda let out a soft (fake) weeping sound before she reluctantly let go of her poor victim.

"You this mean to everyone you murder in ... cold paper?" Miranda pouted a little, "Am I just a special case?"
She had, for now, given up on getting the young man to buy her candy - - - FOR NOW.
"Where you headin' anywhere special? Or were you just trollin' about for victims?" Miranda asked curiously.

Caspian put his hands to his face and scrubbed it, wondering if when he opened his eyes she would be gone - but to no avail. But at least, for now, she seemed to stop talking about candy, which was good, because he still had no intention of buying her any.
Or sharing. Because sharing was not caring.
"I was definitely just looking for people to have a good time with," said Caspian loftily, disregarding her first question. "And anywhere I am is special," he added, with a smirk.

She just smiled at him and let him talk. The more he talked the more she could figure him out.
"Oh! Well a good time is important to have," Miranda chattered along. She gazed a little bit past him and then focused on him again, "I dunno, you might have to prove that to me," she said doubtfully taking a second to just sort of casually glance past him again. kuropeco the humblest humbler. It's okay. Miranda is just like lolk.

There was a long moment in which Caspian just looked at Miranda with a suspicious sort of amusement, his eyes flickering over her own doubtful expression.
"You're not hitting on me, are you?" he said, arching a brow, "Because I mean, I'm flattered and all, but - "

Was he serious.
Miranda was too distracted by his words to figure out that her ploy had failed but instead she just sort of devolved into suddenly looking embarrassed and now trying to hide her face in her hands. "Oh gosh! Oh geeze! You've figured me out! You've seen right through me!"
"You figured out that I... I..." she looked at him with wide eyes as one of her hands reached up to his cheek...
...Just so she could attach a set of googly eyes on his right cheek.
Okay, maybe she wasn't hitting on him. Or was she? It was hard to tell at this point.

Caspian watched the expression on her face change with a sort of jubilant satisfaction.
Score one for the team. He gave a nod of pleasure and stood there with his hands on his hips, smirking at Miranda with a look of unbridled amusement on his face, a grin spreading across his lips.
At least until she patted his cheek and he felt something stick to his skin.
"What are you - what is that - stop that - "

"I'm flattered and all, but..." She said teasingly as she hopped a bit away from him.
"But nothing. I'm just having fun with you," Miranda shrugged with a genuine smile, trying not to giggle at the fact that he had a set of googly eyes on his cheek. "I mean we just met, silly."
She wasn't much for love at first sight.
"I mean you're very cute and all! I just want to get to know you a little first, if that's okay," she winked at him then.

Caspian made a valiant attempt at prying whatever it was that was on his face off, though it was sticky and stuck to his skin annoyingly hard. He made a face at Miranda, a smirk on his lips as he said, "Well, I'd understand if you totally dug me first on. Most do."
It was a total, bald faced lie, and they both knew it, Caspian grinning as he finally tugged off the googly eyes.
"Fine, get to know me, I'm pretty chill I mean," he added airily.

"Oh totally. You are a complete package," she said with a sort of a mock-dreamy tone. Whether or not she actually felt that way was hidden away deep in the vault of 'not telling'.
She chuckled a bit, "I mean other than not buying me something to soothe my wounded spirit after being violently assaulted," Miranda teased with a grin.
"But I enjoyed spending time with you so far, you are very fun. You don't seem too easily embarrassed, I like that in a person," she winked at Caspian. kuropeco I am so super sorry. RL happened + depression. ;;

"Please excuse me, I can't seem to roll my eyes hard enough," said Caspian, then demonstrated this ability to do exactly that. "I'm not so sure about the buying s**t, but I can go get like, a soda or some s**t, if you want that."
A pause, and then he added,
"But it's like, you know, the dollar soda. And I'm not easily embarrassed," Caspian said with a snort. "Embarrassment is too much of a hassle, I prefer living life without regrets."
