Castor knew the sensations, he knew somewhere that he was vulnerable, but all he felt was cold unabashed rage and fury at the Knight in front of him.
No.
At the monster in front of him.
The wind did nothing to halt his magic's growing culmination, and only made the royal all the more aware of the blood that was leaving him.
"Christ." His voice was rippling in pain, and his eye was fixed on Gevaudan thought his worlds were for all of them.
"You're protecting a ******** demon. A blood thirsty ******** beast-" He spat on the ground as he kept gathering his magic.
"-I should have ******** killed you." This was unmistakable. This was a rage reserved only for the knight who's eye he torn years ago.
His mouth moved in near silence, as he held out his crystal with his good arm, fixed upon the spinning cold source of his power. There was a flash of light and resounding crack in the air itself- small flecks of ice and snow swept outward from him and once more, he let out a scream of anger and pain.
The cold was no longer pressing, and the ice no longer forming around them but lingering, it's epicenter the royal who'd summoned it forth. Yet he was on a knee, shaking as he breathed, his crystal gone and his good arm clutching the other. The arm Gevaudan had ripped apart, encased in thick ice, part stained a deep crimson as blood was rendered still, unable to escape his body- yet unable to flow.
Looking up at Ganymede and her pets, Castor felt nothing but disgust. Idiots and fools who'd house a monster that hid behind the mask of a knight.
"You purified nothing." He hissed at the newly minted princess, grabbing finally for Corvus. For something to help him stand.
"You saved no one."
A sneer he looked at them all, and shook, a mix of pain and finally fatigue setting in.
"Attack me again Wolframite, and I won't pander to the etiquette of battle. I'll summon my Crystal, and I will raze half the goddamn city to kill you if that's what it takes."
His grip on Corvus was hard and desperate. All his rage, his anger, and his hate was what kept him standing. It was buying time and stalling what would be an inevitable trip to the hospital.
"You want to help, get that dog away from me and call 911. The ice won't last long before I'll start bleeding out again."
