"No," said Cerussite, desperate to believed, and he didn't even know why, but he needed for this man to understand. Needed for him to realize that the choice he'd made was the right one and not the one that would make things worse. "No - no, I'm - I'm doing this for - for good, that's - I promise, I'm helping - "
His breath left him in a little whimper, his eyes wide and fearful as he was shook. Cerussite's leg gave a throb of protest, painfully dragged into a position that was not conducive to comfort, and he couldn't even try and free himself with his hands bound.
"Please - " His voice came out a whisper now, trembling.
"Please don't hurt me, I haven't done anything - "

Eurydike made a move as if to hit him - his fist was in the air and poised, fingers curled tightly in on themselves, his blood pumping in anticipation.
Or was it that? - the last time he'd taken Cerussite down, it hadn't felt the way he'd expected. Here this kid was now, pleading and trying to meet his eyes even though he was very visibly afraid, and -
It shouldn't have bothered him, that Cerussite was afraid. It shouldn't make a difference.
"You're wrong." His fist fell stiffly at his side, and he release Cerussite's collar, all but flinging the officer away from him. Frustration welled up in him, both to do with the redhead and with himself. "You've done plenty - an' we're gonna - we're gonna keep you here until you can't hurt anyone anymore."
The super senshi hoisted himself onto his feet, turning to leave - and again, without sparing a second glance.

He flinched violently at the raised hand, his eyes going wide with terror, and Cerussite remembered, all too well, the last time that Eurydike had hit him. He was shaking now, his body trembling, and any minute now, that fist was going to come down onto his face -
- and then it didn't. Cerussite let out a gasp of mingled surprise and pain as he collided hard with the floor, his bound hands scraping across the cold stone floor.
"No," he said breathlessly, desperately, "No - wait - "
But then Eurydike was gone, and he was alone.
