 Yuki hugged him back after a few seconds. her claws were not as sharp as they looked. "Thank you Cody....." She said with her ears back after she cried for a few minutes. "I needed that." She said as it had been so long since she felt the warmth of a hug.

He felt her hug back but he let her cry as he then thought it over, "Im glad that I could help." He said but figuring that it was best to do something a bit more positive, he gently smiled, "So is there anywhere we can go to get some fresh air?" he asked feeling like he wanted to get out and stretch his legs a bit now that he was back to the land of the living thanks to her.

"If you're up for it, I could show you around the island little by little. It's a big place on foot so we'll go further each day. But Yes! We can get some fresh air." She said with a small smile on her face before she grabbed his hand and went to the door. She was so excited about having company that wasn't scared of her.

Cody looked at her when she said that, which he nodded, "That would be great..." He said as he felt that she grabbed his hand and had lead him out the door. He kept an eye out and his head on a swivel as he checked out the surrounding views as he would remember how to get around.

Yuki then got an idea. "I want to show you something." She said smiling as she took his ahdn and started to pull him in the direction of the surprise. Once they stopped, she started pulling some leaves and before long, they came across a hidden waterfall/grotto. She smiled and said "Daddy used to bring me here when I was little......It's my favorite spot on the whole island." as she looked at him holding the leaves open for him to go in.

Cody looked at her when she spoke, he thought about how she lead him to a serious of plants when she moved some larger leaves out of the way. He was rather surprised as he then looked to her, "Wow, this is amazing... I can see why this is your favorite spot, its beautiful." He said thinking over how beautiful the hidden waterfall looked.

Yuki smiled and said "I'm glad you like it. Daddy and I used to come here to swim all the time before he passed away. If you want, we can come swimming here sometime." as she looked at him hoping he liked to swim. Though she had fur, she never smelled bad when she was wet like most animals did after getting wet.

Hearing what she said he gently smiled to her but rubbed the back of his head, "Personally, I would rather prefer to keep from swimming since I had just been rescued from the ocean." He said a bit jokingly as he thought it over, "I wouldn't mind swimming later though after looking around and resting a bit." He reassured kindly to her.

Yuki nodded. "Alright." She said with a small giggle. She then thought about it and said "Do you need any pain killers or maybe a drink? Any food?" She was worried that he was not comfortable around her. She was trying to keep him comfortable while he was with her.

Normally he would remember offering people food or drinks and such, but it was strange that he was being offered it. He looked at her but gently nodded, "I wouldn't mind having a bit of food, but I don't want to be a bother." He said thinking that he was starving and thirsty but he felt like she was nervous of him as it was.

Yuki couldn't help but laugh a bit. "It's no trouble at all. I'm getting hungry myself." She said smiling before she led him back towards the house, into the little kitchen that was well kept like the rest of the house, and started making something for the both of them from the fruit from the island and some meat she had managed to get from the mainland. Her father had a system that allowed for groceries to be delivered every week for her and himself. It was still being paid for thanks to the money she was left. She wore a cloak whenever she answered the door but the guy knew she was his daughter.
