"Doing things with people, maybe, but there is more to being part of the Negaverse than hand-holding lieutenants, I think." Cin leaned back as she sat on her bike, her feet braced apart as she let her hands fall to her bare thighs. "I'm of the opinion that if all you want to do is fill the basic requirements, then all you need to do is follow orders and keep your head down. But if you want to actually get something out of this rather than just give, you need to go out and get it yourself. Its the officers who do things who get noticed and rewarded."

There was a flare of disappointment when the corrupt declined her offer, but Cin figured she really shouldn't be surprised. They'd just met and who would want to hang out with a superior officer anyway? It pulled a smile across her face and she shrugged loosely.

"You're not in the way. I'm glad you dropped in. If you have more questions or you decide who you want your general to be, drop in again. I'll help you if I can."

It was harder, lately, finding people to socialize with, but it was something she needed to get used to. She wasn't like other officers, she couldn't expect to live the same way. Hopefully Hauyne would find whatever they were looking for.

Strengthen one officer, strengthen the whole.
