Seqi wanted to suggest that perhaps he ought to teach thralls to sing like him, and they could spend less time hunting, but she also recognized that it might be best if she let this encounter end on something resembling a good note. Given the way it had gone back and forth, his returning her smile was probably the best she could hope for. She did grin at his reply though. He did have a sense of humor. Thank the stormlords!
It was fortunate that he seemed to be thinking along the same lines. Or perhaps he'd just used up his daily allotment of tolerance for interacting with others. Whatever was going through his head, Seqi didn't much care. He had been the one to suggest and end to their impromptu meeting, so she wouldn't run the risk of offending his apparently fragile ego by doing so herself.
"It was good seeing you, too," she replied. "I hope you're able to dry off before dark."

Nodding he glanced up at the sky. "Thanks... See you around..." Having no idea what else to say he hesitated a moment longer, then gave her a nod and turned away, once again resuming his inturupted walk.
Surprisingly he found he had spoken the truth, despite how tiring it was. He had enjoyed their talk, and he wouldn't mind repeating the experience some time in the future. For now though he had to eat.
