"Not all of them are worth purifying. There are some that can't be saved." Shouldn't be saved. "Maybe I haven't run into the same kind of trouble since I've returned to the city, but something doesn't feel right about all of this. At some point we, as a collective, lost track of what we were fighting for. Maybe not all of us, but enough of us... It almost makes me miss the old information dump meetings."

A sad smile distracted her momentarily from thoughts of other worlds and space. It was all too complicated and maybe that's why the new generation paid it no mind. Or was it just that she was so disconnected from all of them due to distancing herself that she had no idea what they were giving attention to begin with.

"Right now this is the lifetime that matters to me and Vengeance isn't going down without a fight."

"It goes both ways, Castor." Corvus reached out, lightly brushing gloved fingertips against his wrist before rising to her feet. "We haven't made it this far to not be there for one another."

As she spoke her gaze drifted back out over the city, dozens of different thoughts drifting through her head. "I'll think about what you've said, most certainly. Until we meet again?"
