Cody shook his head, "No your not dead, your in a hospital. I was back at my home when i heard a wolf howl and rushed into the woods and found you laying on the ground blacked out. I made sure you were okay but then brought you here... as to why im here, i work as a nurse here, or as an orderly, whichever title works." He explained as he looked at her, "Can you remember what happened?" He asked wondering if she recalled the attack and what she saw.

Emily was feeling a little hysterical now. How had she lived after a wolf attack? It didn't make sense, "A nurse huh? Was being an actual doctor too much?" she smile, locked her fingers together and looked down at then, saddened. Suddenly an image flashed in her mind, "A white tiger....." she looked up at him, "I saw a white tiger! It started attacking the wolves." she placed her hands on her head trying to recall that image, "I know it sounds crazy, but I saw one." Emily was afraid he was going to think she was nuts, she had to look up at him again, "Please don't tell anyone I said that." she looked all around the bed, "Where are my things?" Emily asked, hoping that her bag wasn't chewed up and still out in the woods. All her work, lost.

A normal doctor would have probably had her tested for stress induced hallucinations to help her relax and believe that no white tiger was out there. Cody knew the truth but hearing how she asked about her pack he walked over and grabbed her pack from where it was resting against a chair. He brought it over to her, "Its fine, a few claw scratches but nothing damaged inside... but even though i wont tell anyone about you saying there was a tiger, i would be careful since their have been sightings of a white tiger but some believe its a ghost tiger since it never leaves a trail to follow... so i would keep that to yourself and i didnt see any wolves or tigers by you. I assumed that you ran and got away from them before passing out." He explained gently to her.

Emily took her things back from him. She opened it up, inspecting her things to make sure nothing was damaged. She sighed a relief, then looked at him, listening to him talk, "A ghost tiger? Seriously?" that didn't seem legit, those kinds of things can only be found in anime and movies, right? Carefully going over what happened, she just couldn't come to that conclusion, "I don't think I did. I do remember falling tot he ground and getting attacked but...." she shuttered a little bit as she looked down, "But I'm sure that I hadn't moved at all." Emily looked up at him sharply, "How did you find me? Were you following me or something?"

Cody looked at her when she inspected her things but he knew that she would have trouble believing that but as she asked him how he found her, he shrugged, "I guess that I got lucky, because I heard the howl, rushed off in the direction that I had seen you go into the forest and followed my instinct. I stumbled upon you when you were blacked out." he explained but thought it over, "Look, just get some rest alright." He said kindly to her, thinking that she just need to rest as he walked over and checked the machinery. His sleeve on his right arm slid back a bit revealing some bandages on his right arm, looking to be in the same place the tiger was bitten by the wolves.

Emily reached out and touched his bandaged arm, "How did you get hurt?" she thought back to the tiger fight, it was injured on the right side too........coincidence, right? Maybe. She had to go back and investigate at area, but this time she would have a map with her. Taking her arm back, she took out her sketches. Looking at all of them, she could definitely find her way back. The drawings were laid out for anyone to see, and didn't care, she was proud of her work.

Cody looked at her when she reached up and touched his bandaged arm but he gently smiled, "Oh, when I was carrying you back my arm brushed against a thorn bush, put a couple holes in the sleeve of my favorite shirt too but I was more worried about getting you to the car." He said as he noticed that she soon began to check her drawings again, "What are you thinking, I have seen that look before. Your going to do something that could get you in trouble again aren't you?" He asked seeing that she was formulating something with her drawings.

Emily quickly put her drawings away, this was something to do when there are no prying eyes around. She shook her head lightly, "I was just looking over my stuff again, making sure I didn't lose any of them." she gave him a smile to try and make it look convincing, "This is a part of my class project. I just forgot to get some clippings of some of the things I saw, but no worries, I'll make do wit h what I have." Emily took out a bottle of water and a granola bar from her pack, her hunger returning with a vengeance. She opened up the little pack, taking a bite of the salty, sweet, sticky and chewy bar.

Cody looked at her when she said that but he shook his head, "You know that im a nurse right... I better not find you back here with more injuries because if you go back there, their are still wolves out that way." He said as a warning but soon looked at the time, "I have to go, I gotta make rounds with other patients and you need to rest if you want to go home tonight and also, you might want to call anyone you need to let know your in here." He said not sure if she had someone she lived with or anyone else in her life that might need to know.

[sorry I disappeared] Emily only nodded in acknowledgement. Maybe he was right, maybe she shouldn't go back here. But she still wanted to know the truth. These thoughts ran through her head as she nibbled at the last little bit of food s he had in her hands. Taking out her cellphone, she made only one call, to her mother, whom she promised to call as soon as she got done in the woods. "Hey mom. Yea I'm fine. Yea. No. Mom, no its alright. Where am I? I uh...I'm just, taking a walk around, going to where in particular. Yes mom. Kay, I love you too. Bye." Sighing, Emily leaned back against the bed. It was probably best not to tell her that she was attacked by wolves, saw a tiger and was now in the hospital. She closed her eyes and fell asleep

Cody went and started to run his rounds around the hospital, checking on the other patients he had on his list. When he finished he soon was able to clock out when his shift was over but he went to Emily's room to check on her, he walked in and noticed she was still resting but went over to the seat and sat down, curious to if she was feeling better enough to be taken home or if she would need to stay the night which he figured that he could get her anything if she felt that she needed to stay.

Emily was having a dream. She was in a foggy forest, small rays of sunlight were poking through, lighting the path in front of her. She kept going, looked down to see funny looking tracks. She reached for her sketchpad and pencil, the track looked like a tigers! This is the evidence she needs, but found that she didn't have her things. She looked back down and it was gone. Off in the distance, Emily saw a figure appear. After a few moments it cleared it. It was the tiger! She did not feel fear. The beast only stared at her, the eyes somehow full of wisdom and kindness. It growled as loud as it could, because tigers can't roar. Emily suddenly sat up in her hospital bed, mouth open but nothing was coming out. She looked around to find that nurse was sitting there, "What are you doing here?"

Cody saw that she sat up quickly, but seeing that she had asked him why he was that, he shrugged, "Cause when I walked out earlier I heard that you didn't tell your mother that you were in the hospital so I figured that I would come and check to see that if you were well enough to leave if you wanted a lift since its kind of late... also I was off the clock and if you felt like spending the night then I could have gotten you something to eat or drink." He offered kindly, thinking that it was the least he could do to help her, "Sleep well by the way?" he asked wondering why she suddenly sat up from her sleep.

Emily looked at him weird, "You were out of the room when I made that call. How could you possible know that?" she pushed the covers off on herself, pulled off all the wires that were stuck to her, "I'm fine, just leaving now." her injuries still bothered her a tad but not enough to keep her over night. She found her clothing in her bag, they were a little torn, but still wearable, she'll have to mend it later. Going into the bathroom, Emily used the facilities and got dressed. She came back out 7 minutes later

Cody looked at her when she spoke but as she walked into the bathroom he sighed, "I have pretty good hearing, a doctor had stopped me in the hallway to ask me a question and I had over heard the a bit before I stepped away from the door. Anyway, I can still give you a lift home if you want." He offered kindly to her.
