Turn 2
Acel's Attack x3: 77 - 70 = 7 (100 - 7 = 93% Chance) (-13% From Acel's and Guard's T.A. = 80% Chance)
FAILED! - (385 - 210 = 175 Damage)

As the Royal Guard launched forward, shooting toward Acel as quickly as he could, he noticed the Quazzar pushing itself off the ceiling and vomiting out its toxic projectile toward the woman below. As it flew through the air, however, the little dog-sized b*****d missed his mark, and the woman was able to avoid him easily. 'Damnit!' The Royal Guard thought to itself, cursing the foolish allies that it had brought along. Even the E-Trooper missed the frail little girl that they were fighting. How could they be fighting this little woman two versus one and still be failing. It was the last straw when the worker struck out at the pretty boy with the perfect hair and the tattoos. The Worker's attacks were evaded like they were nothing. Either they were facing opponents who were out of their league or they all horse shoes up their asses. Either way, watching them all avoid the attacks sent at them made a metaphorical shiver run up the Guard's spine. It was nervous--and it had a feeling that it had stepped into a battle that it should not have. As its fist swung upwards towards the man's gut, the Guard watched as he quickly spun to the side and gave a half-hearted swing. The man was holding his other arm behind his back, as if to say that he didn't need both arms to defeat his opponents. The cocky b*****d! But as the sloppy backhanded swing echoed off of the Guard's armoured arm, it was shocked to feel how much power was inside of it. It couldn't imagine what a real swing from the man would feel like. The arm brushed through the man's billowing overcoat, but it hit nothing substantial, and that pissed it off something fierce. It wanted to get its hands on him, but suddenly the man was gone--darting past the Guard. Why was the little runt always running away!?

The Royal Guard turned around to try to find the enemy he was to be fighting, but when he turned, he barely hard time to even see the man coming for him. Acel had already jumped up toward the wall and he had used the pipes to launch himself toward the Guard, and when the Guard had turned, all he saw was the man in front of him, sword already slashing toward his neck. The blade immediately carved into the nook of the Guard's neck and tore up through the armour, completely cleaving the metal casing that the Guard was shrouded in, and leaving a large chunk of the armour opened up beside the core's head. The Royal Guard roared in pain as the blade passed through it, and then as Acel landed, it prepared itself for the man's quick attacks, seeing him hop back and position himself. The direction of his sword--the way he held himself--the way his hand went...oh s**t! The blonde man had grabbed a wire of some sort, and as he pulled it, the Royal Guard stepped forward, landing a foot on top of the wire to hold it still and keep Acel from using it to trip him up. As the man then pushed forward to stab his sword into the core's chest, the Royal Guard brought its massive arm up and seized Acel by the wrist, stopping the attack and as the Guard twisted his own hand, bending Acel's wrist backwards and sending the sword in an off direction, it sneered at the man. 'This little s**t has quite the power in him, yes? What do you guys think? Should we take him back? I think the master might like him.' However, as he was thinking, the Royal Guard loosened his grip and Acel squeezed out of it, rolling forward to position himself for the last attack.

However, when Acel went to stab the back of the Guard's leg, it kicked backwards, planting its foot in the middle of Acel's face, sending the man rolling backwards, but likely not doing any serious damage to him. But, by the end of the man's series of attacks, the Guard was pissed. It immediately turned around, looking at Acel through narrowed eyes as it charged forward, lowering its body mass to point directly toward Acel, and blasting at him like a football player. When it got close, the Royal Guard attempted to swing its arms up and grab Acel into them, carrying him forward with the momentum of the tackle and then slamming his shoulder into Acel's chest to crush the man's sternum, while simultaneously pinning him against the wall that he had used to jump off of and cut the guard in the first place.

Turn 2
Sarah's Attack x5: 50 - 40 = 10 (100 - 10 = 90% Defence Chance)

As the Quazzar's suctioned feet allowed it to sit atop the walls like some sort of creepy predator. But as it hurled its mucous bubble toward the woman, hoping to deform her somehow with the melty goodness that it could hock up and shoot out the way that it did, the woman was able to avoid it completely, moving off to the side with precision and grace, though she didn't seem to notice the Quazzar launching down beside her as the E-Trooper also engaged on the woman, offering enough of a distraction that it was able to slip past completely unnoticed. It was a pain in the a**--but these people were far better off than the Quazzar had initially considered...which was going to make it all the more fun to watch them slowly deform under the acidic slime that it coughed out of its maw. These people were going to suffer, and they would suffer slowly. The Quazzar knew it could shoot out its blood along with the acidic mucous in order to enhance the effects, but it also knew just how fast this woman was...if she managed to avoid shots that were enhanced, the Quazzar would be slowly killing itself for nothing...it didn't mind slowly killing itself, of course, but it surely wouldn't do it for nothing!

The human worker that they were fighting against seemed to be struggling too--even though he was apparently strong enough for their master to have sent them here to work alongside...if their master had an interest in the human, he had to be good...so how were these other humans able to stand up to him!? Sure, they were baiters, but the Quazzar had seen many baiters lose battles against A.I. before...this would be no different, damnit! As it positioned itself on the ground, it watched as the blonde man they first encountered launched himself off the wall, similar to what the Quazzar enjoyed doing--looks like he couldn't completely hate the guy, after all--and when he swung his sword toward the Guard, the Quazzar was instantly shocked when the piece of metal was cleaved right off of the Guard's body, leaving a hollow hole in the armour directly beside the thing's head. When the Guard spoke up, sending the thought through the other cores' minds, the Quazzar seemed to laugh through their heads. 'The master would like him, yes. They master would like him surely. But maybe we should take him back in parts. The master could have fun with him bit by bit, yes? Take him a part and put him back together again! He could return to the flow of code!' The Quazzar jibbered nonsensically as the Guard and Acel fought it out and it turned quickly to the woman who had grown savvy to its location.

The woman's scythe came down on it quickly, carving a path toward it horizontally and the Quazzar caught itself mid-thought and launched into the air, allowing the blade to swing around under it before it landed. Then the woman brought the blade back up and swung it back down in a downward slamming strike that would likely have cut the damn Quazzar in half. It squeaked out its disapproval as it lunged to the side, but even then the woman was following it closely, every step it took. She was following him like a damn shadow, and as she caught up to the Quazzar, she swung her scythe, aiming directly at the core's face with the blunt end of the staff, and as the core splayed out its legs and hit the ground, the staff went rocking over its head, and the beast knew that it would have been one eye less if it would have hit. It would have completely lost its damn eyeba--s**t! The woman was at it again, for christ sakes! The staff came shooting out once again, toward the other eye this time, and the Quazzar blasted its feet into the ground and launched itself up into the air to avoid the strike. It was her foot that came the next time, launching a kick at the Quazzar as it came back down from the jump. But, as her foot came cracking up towards it, the Quazzar planted its feet against her foot and pushed off of it, so as she kicked, the Quazzar launched itself off of her foot and zoomed onto the ceiling and used its feet to once again plant itself there, looking down on the girl carefully before noticing the Royal Guard tackling the blonde man towards a wall. The Quazzar watched with a giddy smirk--perhaps the blonde man wasn't so great after all. It was at that point that it rocketed itself down once again, but this time it didn't try to spit at the woman, but instead it spit onto its own hand, its body was extremely resilient to its own poisons, and as it got close it threw a vicious punch toward Sarah's face hoping to deal blunt damage as well as burning damage from the acidic spit on its fingers.

Turn 2

The worker watched--observing in the midst of battle everything that was going on. HE was the one that had been chosen by their master to carry out this operation. HE was the one who was going to get tortured mercilessly until he could not longer bear the pain, if he failed it. He was the one who was going to call all the shots, because he was the one who could do it. He was the one who knew this place--this city--like the back of his hand, and he was the one who would listen with glee when they all burned. He would put a notch under his belt, and these A.I. Cores would learn who the master was--him. He would become the master--he would rise in the ranks of the A.I. until he could become the master of them all. He was certain that it could work, and he was also certain that his thought process was in no way clouded by the fumes from the plasma cutter he had been using to get through the pipes and to alter the flow of the code alongside a few heavy electrical dispersal units placed around the hole he made that were disrupting the signal to the shield generator. But the dispersal units didn't just scramble the code and the signal--they destroyed it. It would only be repaired if someone could actually re-code the portion of shield that was missing perfectly connecting the code back together--which was a b***h of a job to do.

What surprised the Worker the most was the blonde man--the baiter that had found them all through dumb ******** the entire operation up...potentially. The man was able to cut through the armoured body of the Royal Guard with one arm, none-the-less! But, it would seem that he had also pissed off a giant metal behemoth, so it might not exactly work out in his favour at the end of the day. The Quazzar, though it had also failed at landing its attacks--like all of the damned A.I. Cores had, was at least able to use its small size and incredible agility to bounce around the woman's attacks and keep out of range for her scythe. However, when he had attempted to strike the pretty boy--he was given another surprise--this man wasn't so bad either. He managed to step back from the attack with incredible swiftness, and then his hands were brought up, both arms meeting his leg when he had tried to kick him, as to disperse the blow without breaking his arms. Then, before the worker could do anything, the man ran away, speeding over to the E-Trooper and attempting to assault it instead, after he had realized, no doubt, that the Worker was too strong for him to fight alone. The Worker thought about intercepting the man in order to preserve the weaker A.I. Core's life, but he knew that if he were to jump in front of the man's attacks, he wouldn't have time to launch any of his own--and his attacks were much more valuable than the life of the E-trooper. The Worker didn't need them...all he needed was for them to distract these fools long enough to pick them off, one by one. The first target was going to be the man who had just run away from him. He was distracting himself battling the E-Trooper, but he was not paying attention to the Worker...and that pissed him off.

The blonde man was using an advanced core to enhance his battlefield perception, and the woman was bolstered by a defensive type, for sure--the chinese pretty boy was the one who they needed to kill--Akio. "Forget about honor! Forget about pride! Kill these humans no matter what it takes. Do not let up for a single second!" The worker screamed as he blasted forward, them modules on his framework glowing once more as he darted through the underground like a bullet, speeding into Akio and trying to crush a punch into the man's ribs from behind before he hopped backwards and darted around to the opposite side and hurled another vicious hook towards Akio's temple. He was going to knock this guy unconscious as soon as he possibly could.

Trooper made a sound of annoyance when the female avoided it's attack. The girl had also avoided the Quazzar's attack. She was fast, it would give her that. But annoying none the less. But what was more annoying was the human ordering him around. If wasn't for the fact he was already fighting the baiters, he would have tried to cut off the human's head for shouting out orders like he was it's leader. The Trooper would never allow a human to command it, it would rather take it's own life than get caught under the thumb of a human. He watched with slight fascination as the girl swung at the Quazzar with swing after swing, he had been at three when suddenly he was struck on the chest by the black haired male that the worker had set on his sights.

The Trooper swatted the next attack away, taking a step back.. It watched the male closely, if it had eyebrows, it would have raised one of them when the male told him to dance. What a stupid thing to say during a fight. Like this was some contest that the humans did for entertainment. This male was very arrogant. Maybe that was why the human that let them inside the city was so angry toward him, he recognized his attitude. The Trooper watched the male closely as he was quick enough to get behind it, but it twisted and blocked the attack with the armor on his arm. It pushed the attack away, staring down at Akio.

The human actually got a hit in so soon in the fight. The girl was an easy target, she may have had defense from the guard she had, but she was as slow as it was to from having the damn thing. But this male, he was much more dangerous. He would destroy him first, with the human's help, it shouldn't take too long. The Trooper lowered it's head, turning completely toward the Asian male as he held up his arm. He wasn't going to waste too much effort to lunge at the male. The lightening began to flash around it's hand before shooting out and aiming right for the male's chest. With all those metal piercings inside him, maybe he would get the joy of seeing the lightening dance between each one.

Sarah didn't have time to answer any of Kawaguchi's questions or responses toward the rat. Though she wasn't happy that he thought rats were just vile because of where they lived. What did he view the people that lived in such places as well? There were plenty of people in Chicago that lived in the same situation as rats. Was his view different because they were people, or did he think just as lowly about them? But she didn't dwell on the thoughts, especially since she was thrown into a fight before they could really get in deep with the conversation. She looked at Akio before turning back to the cores. “Shāo hòu wǒmen jiāng jìxù zhège.” She muttered before launching into battle.

She gave a glare at Kawaguchi when he asked if that was an order or not, calling her the same thing the Guard did. “Do it or don't, it's a friendly suggestion.” She said coolly before striking at the bug core. No tell him it's called strategy and if he doesn't like it, then go jump off a cliff and spare you all from his stupidity if he doesn't like it. Same goes to you Midas! She huffed as the bug had avoided all her attacks, but the Guard had been right. She was faster than it, but it still had a bit more speed than her. She watched where it had landed, looking quickly around toward the others to see how they were fairing. Better than her it seemed. Each of the guys had gotten a hit in while avoiding the attacks. If that didn't bring her down a few notches. She noticed that Kawaguchi was being attacked by two, getting him in a difficult situation. She bit her lip, trying to think of how she could help. Destroy the bug then worry about Chinese boy, Princess. You can't help him if you bring three against him. The Guard told her.

She nodded in response, looking back at the bug who had stuck himself to the ceiling once again. This thing was really creepy. If Kawaguchi wanted to bad mouth anything, it would be this thing as it actually spit on it's own hands. How disgusting. To her horror, it acutally launched itself off the ceiling and toward her, one of it's arms pulled back, ready to punch her. She quickly raised her scythe with both hands, blocking the acid spit covered punch with ease and throwing it away from her. She felt her whole body shiver at the thought of that thing touching her. She was use to rats because of her adventures in the tunnels, but bugs? Oh no, that was her breaking point. They were creepy with their weird eyes and extra limbs. And this one was trying to spit on her! How gross! She was going to keep her distance from it if it was the last thing she did.

Gripping her scythe tighter, began to swing the her weapon once again. She made a slash for it's head, hoping to maybe get rid of it's mouth so it wouldn't spit again. She would rather it bleed on it's hands than have it spit on them. She then swung twice horizontally toward it's body once again, swinging to the left then the right. She lunged the scythe forward once she held it still, using the butt end of the bladed staff to try and hit the joints of it's arms connected to it's body.

Turn 2
Royal Guard's Attack: 64 - 61 = 3 (100 - 3 = 97% Chance) (+8% From T.A. = 99% Chance)

Acel's vision was blurring as he moved--he was moving so quickly, but the ability to analyse his battlefield on a constant basis was keeping him completely oriented. As he jumped and then dove off of the pipes on the wall in order to redirect himself in a flash toward the Royal Guard behind him, he saw everything with a clarity that he had been unsure he was able to reach. It was as if he could see absolutely everything around him at all times. Like he had some sort of 360 degree, perfect vision. Which, technically, he did. His mind worked overtime on computing all of the data that Midas threw at him, but it worked in the end as he used the momentum from his leap through the air to reinforce the slash at the Guard and the sword carved right through a chunk of the b*****d's armour, revealing the interior of the suit, but not doing any horrible damage to the thing's body. He didn't know the swords were sharp enough to cut through something of this durability...if he used it properly, this thing would not last. But as he landed and attempted his second attack, the guard easily batted it away as if it had been nothing but a fly attacking the A.I. Core. It sneered down at Acel, and he looked back up at the hulking behemoth, narrowing his eyes as he rolled forward and positioned himself for his last attempt to attack. As he swung the sword for the back of the thing's knee, it kicked out and smashed its foot into Acel's face, causing the man to rocket backwards, rolling across the access tunnel floor before coming to a halt a few feet away from the damn thing that kicked him. These guys were tough, and his face was red and a small drip of blood came from his nose where the Guard had hit him.

He regained his footing quickly, however, and when he did, he saw the Royal Guard charging at him, lowering his body to speed along and try to slam into Acel, but he was prepared. As the thing charged him, Acel noticed an access hatch to go down into the interior of the floor, where many wires and pipes were hidden as well, and he gripped it tightly, hurling it up in order for the Royal Guard to run directly into it and slam its body into the door, causing the thing to stumble from the unexpected impact, and as he stumbled, losing his momentum, Acel placed a hand on its back and pushed it along, causing it to fully trip and hit the ground. "Alright, Guard. You're a little too eager, I think. You need to plan your moves out a little better if you want to catch us." Acel stated with a grin, he was beginning to like the feel of combat, and he didn't know what to think about that. "But what's this about your master? I am not opposed to cutting the snake's head off, but it sounds more like you guys want to bring me home for tea." He stated, wondering what the hell they were talking about. He focused quickly, gaining all the information he could from the combat experience that was going on around him.

The Quazzar was moving like lightning, sliding around all of Sarah's attacks, and it damn well surprised the s**t out of him. He couldn't believe that the b*****d had been able to actually get out of the way of everything. But she had been able to attack it five times before it was able to retaliate, which meant she was way more adept at fighting than that little b*****d--she was just unlucky because of its speed. But when the thing started talking about taking him back to their 'master' in pieces, Acel swallowed hard. What did they want him for? What was their master's plan? Who was he? Acel narrowed his eyes as he looked at the enemies and he sighed. "Don't worry, Sarah. Keep focused! It might be fast, but you're far better than that little piece of trash. You're able to out maneuver him! Just keep outstriking him like you're doing, and you will crush that little guy in no time!" Acel shouted as he positioned himself to continue the battle. Akio was avoiding the worker's strikes, which meant that the enemy was not insurmountable. He was strong, surely, but he was not unbeatable if they could avoid his attacks. This was good news for them. Then, after avoiding the worker's attacks Akio jumped in and struck out at the E-Trooper. The blade carved through the thing's chest in a horizontal line, dealing a fair bit of damage to the outer armour, but not fully cutting through it. The thing seemed to have quite a bit of durability as well. If they were all able to take such a beating, then perhaps focusing on attacking them individually wasn't going to work as well as they wanted. After Akio had landed his attack on the thing, however, it kept batting him backwards and not letting him get another shot in, and even worse, the Worker came shooting back in to attack the man as well. Akio was getting swarmed, and even though he was good, he was still in danger. Acel looked down to his left hand...he was fighting with a handicap, and he wasn't sure just how long he could put up with it. What if his friends died because he couldn't fight well enough with his left hand? He smirked to himself, though, as he thought of what Akio had said. That he would help educate him, if Acel desired. Damn straight...and he would help keep Akio alive so the man wouldn't go back on that promise. "Is it just me, or is it really freaking weird that that guy just called you 'humans'? He's a human too. Is he really that far gone? Guys a flipping whacko."

Acel pondered Midas' words, and he thought that it was indeed peculiar, though, the man was obviously insane. He was trying to destroy an entire city just because he could. Because he thought, for some twisted reason, that the A.I. were in the right, and that they were the superior race. Well, to hell with that! He wouldn't let them just walk all over what they had fought to keep in tact. What people had died to preserve. Humanity would not fall. Acel would not watch it go to ruin! They would win! They had to! For every innocent life in Chicago, they would win! "Can it, Gorilla! I am already following your advice! As much as I might not like to!" Midas snapped, hating to admit that the Guard had given decent advice in the first place. Acel heard Sarah say something in a strange language, and he quirked a brow. Was English no longer the regular language? Outside of Bergerac, Acel had read that English was the primary language of the world, but these two seemed to regularly speak a different language. Perhaps his books had been outdated and he was completely unaware of a new superior form of linguistics. "You better be serious about letting me sit in and learn with you, Kawaguchi! So let's end this as quick as we can! Oh...and I am really sorry, Sarah, but if you're giving more advice for the battle, I'll need you to repeat it in English. I have no idea what you just said...I think I'm a little dated on languages. I only know English. It used to be quite popular, I hear. Though you folks seem to communicate differently on a regular basis." Acel stated, shrugging it off as he darted toward Akio.

As the E-Trooper attacked at Akio, Acel knew that he had to help the man. If they both teamed up on the thing, then perhaps they could take it down quickly, and then Acel could work on the damaged Royal Guard afterwards. They needed to get rid of these cores as quickly as they could, and this seemed to be the best way to do it. They needed to team up the same way that the enemies were. "Sarah! You keep striking at the bug. You've got a heavy advantage over it, to be sure. Be careful of the Guard though, I'm not keeping him busy right now. Me and Kawaguchi will team up against the E-Trooper, and we will crush these guys one by one!" He called out as he brandished his blade. He jumped into the fray, deciding that, for now, he was best off continuing to administer Aki's training. He needed to strengthen his left arm at all costs. He dove in, noticing that the E-Trooper wasn't getting too close to Akio. This was a good thing. He was going to use that to his advantage. Directly after the lightning flashed forward, shooting out at Akio, Acel slid in front of the A.I. Core and swung his sword with all his strength toward the deep gauge in the chest armour that Akio had managed to cut in last turn. Then, immediately after he pivoted on his hind foot and spun around, switching his sword grip as Midas fed him leagues of information on swordplay. He knew that the A.I. Core was trying to help him--and it was working wonders as he changed into a backwards hold on the blade mid-spin and brought the sword crushing in towards the same chest damage, trying to stab through all the way to the other side with a powerful reverse stab toward the things chest. He could only hope that him and Akio would be able to destroy this b*****d if they attacked together.

                                        Turn 2

                                        Worker: 90 - 63 = 27 = 73% Chance x2
                                        E-Trooper: 46 - 63 = (-17) = 99%

This was bad. So very bad. Akio could tell just how strong the Worker was with those first strikes, and if the man honestly thought that Akio was the one who he needed to take out first, he could do it. Easily. Akio gritted his teeth, a bad habit he always has had, one that eve carried to his sleeping. But that was besides the point. With both the worker and the E-Trooper hounding on him, it was going to be one hell of a battle for him.

It was so weird that the worker called their group humans like he wasn’t one of them. The man seemed rather insane, warped in the head, broken in some fashion. Did he not see himself as a human as well? And why was he ordering these AI’s around like they were nothing? Nothing about this made sense. Absolutely nothing. He could hear the worker dash up to him from behind, going in for another attack. Swiftly, Akio spun out of the way, feeling the air from the man’s rush as he sped past. That was too close, way too close. But Akio was unable to take a moment to breath, as another attack came speeding in directly for his temple. This time, he actually saw it coming and was able to move out of the way rather quickly. But then came the Trooper. The trooper attempted a lightning enhanced punch aimed at his chest. He didn’t particularly enjoy the idea of being punched in the chest normally, but this guy had lightning coming out of his fist, which only made it a whole lot worse. Luckily, Akio managed a dodge, doing another rather graceful spin out of the way.

s**t, this was bad. He didn’t think he could keep up with this, not even remotely. But Akio had to grin when Acel let out a small quip about his offer to teach him a few things about engineering. “You bet your a**, I’m serious!” Akio chuckled lightly, as if the whole thing was a joke or game. But really, Acel was pretty much a beacon of light, an angel descended from the Western cultures Heaven, sent forth by God himself. A savior among men. Perhaps he wouldn’t actually die this fight. Perhaps he had a fighting chance.

Sarah seemed to be able to handle the ugly little bug thing rather well. And my god, that thing was absolutely vile. The thing actually spit out acid, and stuck itself to the wall. Rats were still gross to him, but after seeing that thing, they could be perceived as rather adorable. “You know, Sarah… I think I change my mind about rats.” He knew very well that Acel couldn’t speak Chinese, so he said it in English. He’d have no context with the phrase, but at least he wouldn’t be left out of the conversation, or feel left out.

And now, it was time to attack this damn E-Trooper. Hopefully, this thing would go down relatively fast, now that he had help. Then they could swamp the Guard, and the mission would go a lot smoother. One could only hope, really. Akio readied his sword and swung up at the thing, then slashed down in another swift attack. He hoped that the two would hit, dealing loads of damage, but he could only hope. The enemies were skilled. When he finished slashing, he swiftly lifted his left hand, leveling the back end of his katana to his sternum, then jabbed forward hoping to stab the E-Trooper in the chest, directly where the previous slash attack hit. He was lucky to not have been hit yet, and he wanted to keep it that way. This fight was dangerous, but with their numbers they could probably do this. He had to believe that it could work.

Turn 3

The Royal Guard was sure of it--it would scoop that runty little human up in its arms and it would absolutely crush him against the wall of the access tunnels. It would be able to break the man's spine against the curvature of the pipes that popped out of the wall like veins of a living creature. The beastly Royal Guard prepared itself, aiming to grab the man as he was running, but right before he managed to snag the little human, he bent down and suddenly he had hurled an access hatch up, and the Guard was too far along to avoid it. It slammed into the Guard's lower legs and sent him stumbling--and if that wasn't bad enough, the human side-stepped the stumbling core and with a harsh shove, the Guard was sent sprawling out across the floor. It landed with a heavy echo, and it roared out in frustration as it scrambled to regain its footing. It was already feeling ashamed of being made to look like such a fool by this man, but Acel made it even worse by throwing taunts at it. Then, the man said something quite peculiar. Something about their 'master'. How did he know about that? How did he hear what they were saying? No man could hear the mind of the A.I. Cores unless it was a Core directly attached to that man's body. Did Midas give him some sort of radar to hear the other cores from? This man...this man just became much more interesting. 'How do you listen to us, Human? No man can hear us. But believe me, you would not be cutting the head from this snake--it would swallow you whole before you could raise a single finger in defense.' The A.I. Core stated with a grin as it looked at Acel. But by this time, the man was already darting away from him.

the Guard felt almost bad as the Quazzar was hopping about like a fool, avoiding all of the woman's attacks. It had judged the creature as completely useless, but it showed clearly that it was not as incompetent as the Guard had originally thought it was. The woman was just as strong as the men she fought beside, but the Quazzar was the only one who had managed to avoid being hit so far. The Guard guessed, as well, that the only reason he was not even more damaged is because the blonde man had gone after his friend to support him, as he was being attacked by the Worker and the E-Trooper simultaneously. Well, if they wanted to play that game, they could do that, no problem! But that didn't mean that the Guard had to play to their tune! He was about to rush forward and attack once again, but he noticed out of the corner of his eye that even if the Quazzar had managed to avoid all of his attacker's strikes, he was still seemingly useless when it came to actually landing any hits of his own--though, the Guard could not say much about that, as he was also failing miserably...hell...he looked the stupidest of them all. When the Worker spoke up and ordered them to fight with no regard to honour, the Royal Guard almost laughed. 'Such a human thing to say. Your filthy species. You will all be crushed soon, though, I suppose you will be watching, as our Master has taken a liking in you, and your so-called brothers. I will follow your orders for now. But do not test me.' And with that the Royal Guard ran headlong toward the Quazzar and Sarah. To hell with striking out at the blonde man--he had too much of an advantage against him. Besides, if they were tied up with the other two, he might as well offer some support to his small ally. As the Royal Guard crashed towards Sarah, it pulled back its hand and launched forward a vicious punch toward the girl's shoulder, hoping to completely dislocate it.

Turn 3
Sarah's Attack x5: 50 - 40 = 10 (100 - 10 = 90% Defence Chance)
FAILED! 250 - 120 = 130 Damage

The Quazzar had thought that it would be able to strike the woman with its acid-imbued punches, but it would seem that fate had a little bit of a different idea as to what was going to happen. Its knuckles collided with the woman's staff, and with a wet splattering sound, the fist stopped dead and the acidic saliva spattered harmlessly off of the fist and avoided her completely. The Quazzar let out frustrated grunts as it bounced back from the woman's defense, being hurled off of the woman's weapon. It allowed itself to tumbled backwards but it caught itself easily, and it noticed the Royal Guard attempting to grab Acel, and when the Guard attempted the maneuver, it was outmaneuvered as Acel hurled the access hatch up at him and caused the Guard to stumble into a pile of useless junk on the ground. The Royal Guard was scrambling to pick itself up--obviously not accustomed to getting himself made a fool out of by humans. But, he probably hadn't fought against baiters like this. They were supposed to be fledglings, but they were different from anything they had ever seen. Was the new generation of baiters stronger than the last? Had they done something differently to them? The Quazzar picked up on the blonde man's talking about their Master and its face screwed up immediately. The long tube-like extremity actually sucked back into its face when it was frustrated, and it hissed, sending spittle flying every which direction. You have no idea who the master is, boy. You will be cut to pieces long before you ever meet him. There are hundreds of A.I. that are stronger--faster--more well equipped than you will EVER be. You will die a horrible death before you see his face, and you will never be able to take him down. He is the supreme one. The commander of Earth's armies!!'

When the human spoke to order them about, the Quazzar nearly threw up, which would have completed the almost incompleteable goal of having the damn thing even more disgusting than it already was. But it tried to ignore the man for now, working on focusing on the girl in front of it. It needed to kill her! And it surely wasn't going to make any progress by standing around talking to a psychotic human who couldn't even identify with his own race. Foolish nave. But, in that moment, distracted by the thoughts of this stupid creature, the Quazzar was beset upon by the woman once more. She was using her large scythe in a rather cramped space, and it was causing her to be sloppy. She couldn't properly swing something like that down here! As she swung the first attack was clearly aimed for the creatures head--trying to cut off the extremity on its face. However, it was not going to let that happen, because as it came down directly attacking the probiscus like extremity, it sucked it back into its face once again and then like a celebration horn of sorts, it pushed it back out, causing a weird party sound to come out of it--a mix between a party favour and a fart. God this thing was repulsive. As soon as she was done with the first attack, she came swinging in with two more side-swipes and it easily jumped from side to side, avoiding the attacks like it was some sort of flubber. The damn thing just didn't stop bouncing around. It seemed to grin as it landed after her third attack missed, and then she tried the same tactic as before, using the blunt end of the weapon. But, as it expected her to target its face once again, it was surprised to find the woman striking out at its arms. It avoided the first by spinning to the side, but it was a last-minute maneuver and it caused itself to fly off balance and it hissed once again as it tried to gain its footing back, the woman struck out again, aiming for the other arm, and this time the butt end of the staff cracked home in the joint of its arm and pain shot through the entire limb as a screech echoed off of the walls as it cried out.

The Quazzar immediately jumped away from the woman, trying to scurry off to the walls of the access tunnels, but when it did, it hopped up at the wall and tried to hold itself there, but when its weight was being held by the damaged arm it cried out again and had to remove the arm from the wall, giving it an Igor-esque limp. It hopped from pipe to pipe until the Guard had finally recovered and rushed in towards the woman. When he was attacking, the Quazzar knew that it was also his turn to strike out at the girl. He would crush her alongside the Guard before the other two could get rid of the E-Trooper. Then their victory would be completely assured. It was perfect! The Quazzar immediately pushed off of the wall with its good limbs and landed close to her, though it didn't strike out right away. Instead it crept across the floor as the Guard charged in, and it tried its best to keep quiet until it was right behind her, and then WHAM! It hacked a lugi right at her ankles, trying to burn her feet to make it too awkward for her to move around like she had been. Payback was a b***h.

Turn 3

These Batiers were something else, to be sure. The Worker had been hand selected by the A.I.'s master to do this job--had been picked from dozens...hundreds even. He had been chosen above all of his allies to lead the strike on Chicago. He had the most desire to watch it burn--the most conviction to complete the job--their master knew this. But yet--even though he had been selected as one of the stronger of his race--these baiters were still able to fight back with relative ease. Each of the A.I. Cores that had followed along with him had sustained damage--but it would seem that none of the actual Baiter operatives had been hurt yet. They had been dominating the battlefield and it had to end. If their confidence was not shattered soon, they would gain the upper hand to a degree that the Worker and the A.I. might not be able to get it back. They had to cripple them, and if they did not, they would fall. The Worker ground its jaws together as it saw the Royal Guard completely outmaneuvered by the blonde fool who had found them, and then, directly after the damn bucket of bolts had been tripped up by the man, and sent sprawling onto the floor, the Quazzar was also denied its attack and then hammered with a blow from the enemy. It would appear that the woman was going for the joints in the Quazzar's arms to keep it from being able to move around as quickly--and she was right to do so. If the thing could not jump around, it lost its only defensive trick.

But, as the combat roiled on around him, the Worker was caught by something. The man who had discovered them could hear them speaking--he could hear the A.I. Cores talking, even though they were only doing so through the mental link that they could utilize--transferring the audio data through the airwaves like a radio, tuned only to the minds of the other A.I. What did that mean? Was the man like him? Was the man also a chosen member of the A.I. army? Perhaps he was some sort of ally in disguise--or maybe the A.I.'s master had sent him to take care of things here? Maybe the Worker was being killed here and now before he could go to anyone about what they were doing or change his mind. His resolve, however, was strong, and the master knew this. It didn't matter if he had memories with his family--his children--these things did not matter to him. He would bring the whole thing crashing down around their heads, and he would laugh while he did it. The master knew this! So why!? Why did he send someone else to take over this important strike? Why would he change his mind!? "So, you're my replacement, are you? Nothing but a machine with the face of a man! You listen to the A.I. like you are one! So, that's it is it!? Send one of their own!? Damnit! I will destroy you and your friends, and the master will know that he has chosen the correct man for the job! I will show you the extent of my power!" The Worker clenched his fists together so hard that it felt like the blood in his hands was pushed out of them completely. He was not going to be underhanded by some fool like this. Some b*****d fake. He was going to do this himself. Though, he had to admit, it would have been the most clever thing to put one of his brothers in the baiter organization. Infiltrate them from the inside out. But this...this was HIS mission.

The Worker didn't know if these others that were with the blonde man were like him--if they too were sent by the A.I. master, or if they were a real baiter escort. Perhaps they were allies that the blonde man needed to shed before he could talk in earnest. Maybe the whole idea of this battle was a falsehood to get rid of the two people with him...but either way...all three would die. The Worker almost landed his mark on the man with the black hair that the blonde had called "Kawaguchi". But he was swift--much quicker than the Worker expected. It was the second time now that he had been able to shut down his attacks, and as he went for the strike to his temple, the man was able to avoid that too--what were these people!? Akio was even able to hop back and avoid the strike from the E-Trooper that came after. He was being swarmed two versus one, and he was still coming out on top! Damn it all! The Worker was getting pissed now. His suit began to glow as he clenched his fists. This was where it got real. The suit emitted a constant light this time, instead of maintaining only a burst of the energy. "I will see this city fall. And you will wake to the news reports of your own failure." The Worker snapped as he blasted forward, his body leaving behind a trail of light as she hopped into the air and struck at Kawaguchi's sternum with the flying knee, hoping to crack bone. And then as soon as his feet touched the ground, he was gone, like he had slid across the ground without ever moving. His body shot to the side and the trail was left again as he appeared behind Acel, sending a vicious punch toward the man's spine--hoping to paralyse him and remove him from the battle.

The Trooper wasn't happy to see that the black haired male dodge his attacks along with the worker human's attacks as well. This human was definitely getting on it's nerves. He listened as the cores spoke to each other, listening to them talk about the master. He didn't say anything, talking only revealed things. Though sadly it seemed no one knew that rule. It wouldn't be his fault that they revealed the plan, if he died now and the humans figured out what they were talking about, the fingers wouldn't be pointed at him. He glanced at the human worker as he spoke about the blonde being his replacement. What in the world? This human was really off his rocker, even to him.

The Trooper watched as the blonde male came up, joining the black haired male, apparently named Kawaguchi. It glanced at the Guard, seeing that it was now going after the female along with the bug. The poor girl wasn't going to stand a chance against the both of them, despite what the blonde said. She was weaker than the two males, over-estimating your teammates was just as deadly as underestimating your opponent. Either way would get you killed and obviously the blonde was going with the stereo-type of his hair color. It was amazing how accurate the belief of blondes intellect was. What meant to be a joke seemed to be more than just that. It seemed jokes were also formed from basic truths.

The two men launched at him, the trooper was unsure how to respond, and because of the hesitation, it costed him. The blonde man was the first to enter the fray--shooting in towards the E-Trooper and the A.I.'s hesitation cost it dearly as the sword of the man's left hand slashed directly overtop of the cut that Kawaguchi had already placed on the armour, opening it up completely, now. The E-Trooper faltered, surprised by the heavy amount of damage that these bastards were able to deal so quickly, and it let out a mechanical hiss, a sound between a cat hiss but with buzzing from electricity mixed inside it. Then, the blonde man was already pivoting on his hind heel, and even though the E-Trooper could predict the maneuver that Acel was going for, he had no time to avoid it as the man's abilities seemed to grow as the battle went on, and the sword landed in the open gash across its chest, piercing through some of the mechanics and ripping through the back of the E-Trooper's armour. It hissed yet again, grabbing the blonde's wrist when he finished his second attack. The Trooper threw Acel away from him like one would a child that was bugging them, tossing the man to the floor. It was merely to get the blonde away from him, not to cause any damage. The Trooper returned it's attention back to Kawaguchi, knowing that the man would be coming in next, and it could not afford to be hit with any more damage. As Kawaguchi swung his sword up at him, the E-Trooper brought both arms down against the blade, blasting electricity out of his arms to create an electric field that pulsed with force to push the metallic weapon away, and as the second attack came in toward the A.I., it kicked out viciously toward Kawaguchi's stomach, planting his foot in the man's gut and sending him stumbling backwards, effectively ending the man's string of attacks before he could complete the last one. The E-Trooper watched, then, as the worker jumped in and attacked Kawaguchi and the blonde male in what almost seemed to be at the same time. The Trooper didn't waste a second, the moment the worker turned his attention on the blonde, he went after Kawaguchi.

The lightening sparked out of it's hand once again, casting it's blue light, dancing the shadows around them on the narrow tunnel's walls. He launched himself toward Kawaguchi, pulling his arm back and pushed it forward, aiming his fist for the male's jaw. Might as well try to get rid of the arrogant look the male seemed to have about this fight.

Sarah felt a wave of relief as she felt her scythe finally hit the Quazzar, hitting on of it's legs. She smirked at the thing, glancing at Acel when he began to call out to her. Sarah heard Acel's words as she fought, keep hitting it. Isn't that was she was already doing? Watch that thing, it's crazy. As well as that human. Something isn't right with him. Sarah glanced at the worker, hearing as he ranted about talking her home down. She felt her stomach clench at the thought. The whole city? That wouldn't be possible. They were barely an army, how could just four of them take down a city? Unless there was more waiting at the end of the tunnel. They needed to win and close that hole up. She couldn't let these things get into the city. Her family was here and she would be damned if she was going to let them take over it. Even it meant coming back here every day to do it, even if she failed or not.

She glanced at the Guard, giving him a hard look as if to tell it try and hit her. She could care less if Acel left him up to her. She didn't fall to her guard, she wasn't going to fall to this one. That's my Princess. The Guard said with what have been a smirk if she could see it's face. Sarah waited patiently for the Guard to charge at her, sure enough it came toward her, winging a punch toward her. She dodged the punch, looking for the Quazzar. She found him just as it tried to spit on her once again. She quickly used the scythe to push her up in the air as she jumped, watching as it flew past her and close to the guard instead. Unfortunately it missed the guard by a hair, but she was just going to count her blessings it missed her completely.

She landed not fair from the Quazzar, but she didn't have much room to swing with the scythe having landed almost right against the wall. With quick thinking, she swung once with her scythe, actually throwing at the Quazzar, keeping it busy as she pulled on her black gloves with blue glowing marks on it. With the small area, she didn't have much room for her swords, not for both of them anyways. She preferred both over one. So she would use her throwing knives. She could use her gun, but she wasn't sure of her accuracy with it. Especially on an actual moving target. She was quick to pull the gloves on, grabbing small boxes from her belt. With a quick push of a button on them, her throwing knives grew to their deadly forms. But this time, she grabbed three, one in one hand, two in the other. She wasn't sure if it would still help, but she had to try. She had four throwing knives, but she had never used all four. Only two, it was going to be a challenge to even three. Taking in a deep breath, she threw all three of the throwing knives, listening and watching as they flew through the air, one aiming for an eye, another aiming for the center of it's head, the last going for the other leg. After either hitting or missing, Sarah snapped her fingers, commanding the knives back toward her. She quickly caught the first one to reach her, throwing it right back at the Quazzar, aiming for it's body this time as her other hand caught the other two that were coming toward her.

Turn 3
Worker's Attack: 90 - 61 = 29 (100 - 29 = 71% Chance) (+8% From T.A. = 79% Chance)

Acel took a deep breath as he moved, trying to take in everything around him took a lot of concentration, but due to his own infallible memory, and the ability to see everything around him all in the same time, the man was able to enter his own head and become almost entranced, seeing everything around him happening all at once without ever needing to take longer than a split second to do it. All he needed was enough time to concentrate without being hit. If he could do that, then the man could become unstoppable. He would become unstoppable. He grinned as he felt his surroundings in these surreal moments, watching everything going on around him as he moved, feeling like he was suspended in time as he took it all in. The Guard was running in toward Sarah, striking out at her in an attempt to slam its fist into her shoulder. The Quazzar was sneaking up behind her, but Acel knew the woman was sharp enough to catch it--he would not interfere. He trusted in his comrades. By the time he saw the attacks coming toward Sarah, he was already there, standing in front of the E-Trooper and he stopped paying attention to everything else. Suddenly the world exploded into movement as if he had hit fast forward, and he was swinging his blade toward the E-Trooper's chest. The blade carved along the previous cut that Kawaguchi had made, and Acel had to suppress a cheer as it happened, tearing open the front of the robotic foe. He was having much more luck in this fight than he had had in his last battle against the A.I. cores. He pivoted quickly on his rear foot, and when he brought the blade back in a reverse grip, aiming to stab the enemy through the weakened point on its chest, the A.I. had no time to react. The sword crushed through its chest and out the back of it, creating a small exit wound there as well. But even with this much damage the A.I. reached down and grabbed Acel by the wrist, ripping the sword out of its body and throwing Acel to the side like a child.

Acel tumbled across the ground a couple of times before he stopped, gaining his footing, and he took a deep breath, knowing that he had certainly improved the odds for him and Akio. They were close, now, to defeating this thing. It would be slowed by the damage done to it by both of them, and their teamwork would yield the result that it needed, for sure. By the time Acel was standing up from the attack that he had made, he watched the Worker blasting in towards Kawaguchi. The man was spouting some nonsense about showing them the extent of his power, but Acel was unimpressed by the glowing armour that he wore. He was nothing but a man using the power of something else--the machine that he wore--to make him stronger. "And what does that make you, genius? I believe that you're doing pretty much the same thing, aren't you?" "Stop listening to my internal dialogue, Midas! Damnit! I'm allowed to judge him because I fought my a** off to get stronger, even with your help. He just wears something flashy and gets super strength. That's some bullshit." Acel thought back towards Midas, his face twisting into a scowl. But, when Akio spoke up, stating that he was very serious, the scowl melted into a look of victory. He was so damned excited! He wanted to learn so badly that he couldn't even properly explain WHY. He just loved learning, and this was a perfect opportunity! The Worker soared through the air, trailing a strange light behind him as he attempted to smash his knee into Akio's chest, and Acel's eyes widened as he noticed, before the man even hit Akio, he was already standing behind him! He was in two places at once! How was that even possible!? Acel had very little time to react, but as the man threw his punch toward his spine, Acel was forced to make a move that he was not proud of. He drew his right handed sword and in a flash, he ripped around to the right, swinging the blade up just in time to land a blow against part of the machine that was on the man's arm, knocking the Worker's punch off to the side with his strong hand. "Damnit!!! Damnit all to hell! Now you've done it, punk! Akio...I am getting used to the left hand a lot more, I promise. You saw with the E-Trooper right? You don't think that Aki would be too mad if I used both at a time like this would she?" He asked as he looked at the Worker, who was still rather stunned that the man had even been able to block the strike.

Acel grinned as he looked at the Worker, narrowing his eyes in slight anger towards the man who had chosen the enemy's side. Even Midas was an A.I. Core and he was a much better person than this scumbag. "Allow ME to show YOU the extent of my power." Acel taunted as he brandished both of his swords. He was getting heated up, now, and the grin that escaped his features seemed almost dark. He whirled on his heel, turning his back to the Worker and facing the E-Trooper as it was attacking Akio once again. He could feel his body warming up as information began to crush through his mind like a freight train once more. "Acel...you're doing great and all. Just remember for me, don't get too worked up, okay?" Acel mentally acknowledged the statement of Midas', but he was basking in the wealth of information he was able to pull from around him, absorbing it like a sponge before he blasted off toward the E-Trooper. "Kawaguchi! Go low!" Acel yelled as he was approaching the thing, and as the E-Trooper attempted to attack Akio's face, he hoped Akio had heard him and got low, and quick, because Acel was coming in fast, right behind the E-Trooper's attack, and when he reached behind the E-Trooper, he hopped into the air, giving Akio the ability to attack low in any way he so desired, and as he hopped into the air, Acel's entire body spun viciously, as he twisted it with all of his strength directly before entering his jump, and with both blades sticking out to the side, though tight to his body, he was like a deadly top flying through the air, and he was aiming for the b*****d's head with the attack. And then, when he landed from the attack, he would roll forward, stopping halfway through the roll and pushing with both of his clenched fists--still holding his swords to send himself into a handstand, though the forward momentum caused him to instantly fall forward from it onto his feet. He whirled around, taking count of where the E-Trooper and Akio were before he hurled one of his blades towards the foe, aiming to spear him through the face with the weapon. It was not the kind of attack that the weapons were used for, perhaps, but he already knew that there was nowhere in this area that the blades could fall and get lost in--so he could easily retrieve the thrown blade.

Acel had heard the squeal of the Quazzar after it had been hit, and he grinned as he looked over to Sarah. "Keep it up, Sarah! Just a moment longer! You're doing great! We'll get those guys off your back as soon as this damn Trooper goes down! Even if you take a hit, you're strong enough to shrug it off, we won't let anything happen to you! You just make sure you don't let anything happen to us either, we're counting on you!" Acel called out, wanting to encourage the girl, as she usually seemed uncertain of her own abilities. She was strong, and she had to have convinced herself of that by now. He wanted to simultaneously let her know that they had her back, but also that she was doing a damn fine job at having theirs as well.

                                        Turn 3

                                        Worker: 90 - 63 = 27 = 73% Chance
                                        E-Trooper: 46 - 63 = (-17) = 99%

A lot seemed to be going on, but no one had sustained any damage, thus far. With a quick look towards where Sarah was, he noticed that she was doing really well against the repulsive thing that she was fighting. Then Acel landed a good two hits on the E-Trooper the two were fighting. With any luck, the AI would go out rather soon. Akio took a step back and took a deep breath. He had to keep his head on right, make sure that he didn’t ******** anything up. He was an engineer… His speciality was to think his way through things, and that’s what he needed to do now. Don’t let emotions take over in a fight. Think about your actions, think about the placement of the sword. That was what he had to do, and that was what he did. After a calming breath, he moved slightly faster, and his eyes catching what he needed to faster.

What was the worker even talking about? Replacements? Listening to the AI like you’re one of them? Whatever it was, the man spoke too much, and that rather irritated Akio. The man glowed as if he were some sort of fixed up being who decided that simply being a human wasn’t good enough for him. Akio scoffed, one phrase coming to mind. ‘No mom, this isn’t a phase! This is the real me!’ He almost wanted to mock the damned worker for his little bit about seeing the city fall. It took all of Akio’s willpower not to outright roll his eyes at the man. Watch the city crumble…. What an a*****e.

A flying knee came at Akio with a great speed, one that was so sudden that he had almost thrown him off. But the blow to his sternum was seen rather quickly, and Akio was able to knock the attack away with a single palm before the worker continued on their way with a single fluid movement moved on to attack Acel. This man was so fast! Akio gave pause, thinking a little bit on the person behind the attacking. What made it so that this man, this human, move so fast and become so strong? The phrase popped into his head again, which almost made him outright laugh at the man. He shouldn’t be making fun of the enemy like that, but it was just too easy. “Wow. Was that the extent? Because that was beautiful.” Akio’s tone was that of pure sarcasm. The way the game was First things first, they had to take out the E-Trooper, then slowly take out the rest.

“You know… That’s Granny’s training not mine. If you think you need to use both hands, do it. I don’t think she’ll care.” Acel had slipped up and called him by his given name, but he couldn’t muster up the effort to care. As per to Acels warning, Akio ducked, a lightning fist going right over his head. Then, in almost beautiful accidental choreography, Akio kicked out in a low sweeping kick just as Acel lept and attacked from above. Akio grinned, happy with how the particular attack had gone. With an attack from the top, and an attack from the bottom, there was no way that it would miss.

With a roll, Akio moved out of the hot zone, then slashed up, dealing another attack to the things hip area. The man moved fast, wanting to deal as much damage to the thing as possible. Then, in the same fluid motion, he flipped the sword so that the blade faced down and slashed down. He then stood, taking a few more calming breaths. As long as he kept a clear head, he would be fine. As long as he was clear and conscious, he would be okay. He’d help kill all these monsters, and this stupid human being, and then fix the damn hole in the wall. He knew he could do it… He knew that his skills were high enough to fix whatever issue he would find. It would be easy to find, he did had to not die…. That was it. Just not die.

Turn 4

The human who had been previously talking about killing their master went silent. Perhaps he had not heard the Royal Guard's response to his arrogance, or perhaps he had learned his place, it was not for the Guard to decide the correct answer. The man, however, was busying himself in other ways to be sure, as he seemed to be completely focused in on his combat, flashing in behind the E-Trooper and landing two devastating attacks on him. Just as the three baiters were trying to rid themselves of the smaller A.I. Cores before tackling the Worker, these A.I. Cores would need to wait the blonde man out before they went for him. The Royal Guard knew that it stood no chance of hitting him yet--it needed to tire him out first, and removing the woman and the pretty boy first would allow them all to focus in on the blonde man...but...at the same time, they had to survive long enough for that to work. None of the baiters had been hit yet--not a single god damn one of them. They were dancing around the A.I.'s attacks like they were nothing, and now, yet again, the Royal Guard was being completely ignored!

It watched, as it dashed towards the girl, as the Quazzar snuck up behind Sarah. The thing was creeping along so quietly that the Royal Guard was sure if it did not manage to land its attack, that the Quazzar surely would. It only made sense that one of them would at least land a blow on the girl. That would be the turning point! That would be the beginning of the end! The E-Trooper was as good as dead if he got hit by the blonde man and the pretty boy again, sure, but they could always hope that the E-Trooper grew a set of balls and actually defended itself from the two swordsmen. If the E-Trooper fell before they could remove one of these baiters, it was likely that the battle would be lost. This was a dangerous stage of combat, and they had to pay extra attention. The fatigue would begin soon, it could feel it in his joints--they would all slow, and they would all be vulnerable. The Royal Guard could only hope that the Worker would be able to take advantage of the enemy's fatigue before they took advantage of the A.I.'s. But, even now, as the Guard swung its fist in towards the little woman, she was able to easily avoid the attack, spinning to the side and swinging her staff up to crack his arm out of the way before she found herself staring down the Quazzar before it could get the acid on her. She hopped into the air, using the long weapon to prop her up long enough for the acid to miss her legs before she dropped back down to the floor level and took off. Suddenly the staff seemed to vanish and the woman pulled out a set of knives instead. The Royal Guard, however, was not going to wait for her to use them.

It was about to charge her once again, using its lumbering form to overcome the woman, but as she was about to the Worker that they were accompanying began spouting s**t out loud about their mission and watching the city wall. 'Close your mouth, you filthy human, before you let them in on too much! The master will tear your limbs off and feed them to your family if you ******** this up.' The Royal Guard snapped. At this point, Sarah hurled her knives at the Quazzar, and as the blades went whirling past toward the smaller creature, the Royal Guard dashed toward her, running at her once again to attempt to hit her with everything it had. But instead of punching the woman, as the Royal Guard ran, it reached down and grabbed a loose piece of wire, like the one that the blonde man had tried to trip him up with, and he pulled it out of the wall with a shower of sparks, reefing it down with all his might to try to whip Sarah with the length of wire. It might not be the strongest weapon, but being hit with a whip was no fun ordeal, none-the-less.
