Phaedra post 8

So he did remember her. Phaedra grinned at him. "Nah, you're not holding me up. I'm only in town for some spices. My dad blew up the kitchen." Which meant her collection of good ingredients was gone.

"You look good too kid. Glad to see you weren't seriously hurt in that battle." She'd lost sight of him there. Not something she was overly fond of. "Who knows, maybe this rumor will turn out to be nothing and will blow over.."

Phaedra Post 9

Seeing him smile in such a way had her chuckling. Still she nodded her head and decided to regal him with the story of her father trying to cook. "It was bad. He's a sorcerer by trade so the last place he needs to be is in the kitchen." Phae grinned once more. "I'm not sure how he managed it."

As he motioned to his leg when he told her he'd only suffered a minor injury she let her gaze drop and pause there. "I'm sorry, I should have kept a better eye on you then." Phaedra just hoped that the scar didn't impair his ability to walk. Finally bringing her eyes back up to meet his she took a small breath. "We can only pray that someone has added a lot of flair to the rumors."

Phaedra Post 10

Five!? Phae went slightly wide eyed. Spirits above that was a lot of kids to have. Granted she was one of three. So his family was bigger by two, but it seemed like so much more. Especially given that her sisters never lived with her past the youngling age.

"All the same, I should have paid better attention." Phaedra felt the need to mother Vuka but stayed where she was instead. She didn't think the shifter would like to be cuddled by her in front of everyone. "I've a feeling you are right about that.. We may just find out in a matter of months." But the question was... Was everyone prepared for that?

"I think once I am done here I will return home and work on my fighting skills."

Phaedra Post 11

She remembered that he hadn't had any training and she shook her head, though she wore a friendly smile. "You better learn to defend yourself at least. I think the next time I see you I might just challenge you to a spar, kid." Phaedra wouldn't mind a friendly bout. Especially if she didn't have to really worry about her own moves.

She noticed that the road was now clear enough for her to go about her business and she nodded toward it. "I think I might head out now. All that talk of food and the kitchen has made me hungry." Phae gave a wave of her hand and said a short goodbye.
