Frankly, Horace was too tipsy to feel offense at the comment about his emotional nature. Instead, he chuckled. "Maybe it's 'cause I'm balancing you out, a bit. You coulda asked where I'd gone - I might've told you." He paused. "But I might not've. You told me to go and I thought it didn't matter much where." The base in Belgium hadn't been a choice, it had been an order. The timing of it was strange.

There was a surge of satisfaction in having Lawr actually admit that he had been losing some control. "Oh, was my Swedish that bad? Is my pronunciation off? I can try some again, if you want." He laid on the bed next to LAwr and smiled lazily.

Lawr smirked and took a smaller swig of the alcohol, feeling it like the other swigs go straight to his head. He felt fuzzy rapidly and found it more difficult to get a hold of the normally razor sharp edges of his thoughts, finding the logic drifted apart and grew hazy. "I don't ask many questions." he said, looking over at Horace blankly. "But you know that."

He closed his eyes in play irritation and rolled away from Horace to turn his back. "Not agaaain." he said, holding the bottle. "I loathe cold showers and I think you would be irritated if I ended up trying to strangle you again."

He curled up slightly. "Your pronunciation was fine you impudent hussy."

"Mm, I know." Horace kind of wished Lawr had been the type to ask questions. Asking questions kind of demonstrated a concern about someone or their well-being that he'd never really felt from Lawr.

Horace grinned before tipping back the rest of his bottle. Slowly, he scooted closer to Lawr and ran two fingers down his spine. "Depends on the type of strangling. But you know that, don't you?" He felt loopy, a little, and very warm.

"What's your favorite phrase? I Think I like 'var snäll och använd mig' best." This was said right next to Lawr's neck, as Horace had (a bit clumsy) scooted even closer.

The older man visibly shivered at the contact along his spine and uncurled languidly like a cat, stretching out and arching a little longer along the bed. It was difficult to really plan ahead or to think much about how he was portraying himself with alcohol in his system so he simply stopped fussing too much about it, sliding into a confidence and assertive dominance which did not very frequently surface in a social setting.

"Oh yes." he said. "I almost forgot that~" It had been some time since he'd been anything but tender and patient and part of him keenly leaned into the thought of it. "I miss it quite a bit."

Horace's follow up comment made him freeze entirely, careful not to break the bottle in his distraction. "Horace." he said warningly. "You should not say things you do not actually want. As for favourite phrases, I prefer English, I prefer you knowing exactly what I mean when I tell you what I want."

"He doesn't like it rough?" Horace was not surprised about Melvin being vanilla or not wanting to be manhandled. There had been a spark inside the odd man, he thought, but it was something he had never bothered to think about too hard. "What a shame."

Horace saw Lawr freeze and slid his hand under the hem of his shirt. "What do you want?"

Lawr slowly set the bottle aside, careful not to spill it, wedging it somewhere it wouldn't tip. This accomplished, he rolled over to face Horace, keeping the other man's hand under his shirt.

Butch in his head gave some suggestions and he did not have too much trouble with going along with it, his judgement even less reliable than usual. He spoke low and quiet, as if swearing or being crude was heresy which would land him in terrible terrible trouble. Despite the volume though, there was iron in his words. "You know what I want." he said. "I want to ******** you again Horace. I want to feel you under me the way only you can be. I want to make you say you love me. It is what I wanted in the infirmary and it is what I want now."

"I am sure I could teach you a few phrases in the process, if you were good. You'd have your mouth full if you were bad."

Horace pressed the palm of his hand against Lawr's stomach before swiveling his wrist around so he could slide just the tips of his fingers under the waistband of Lawr's pants. He was more than amenable to the other man's suggestions. Horace was only concerned by one things - it was a hazy concern, but still he voice it. "Why do you want me to say 'I love you'?"

He shivered. Even if he had wanted to forget, he couldn't. The things Lawr had done to him were thrilling. "You know I can be good." His fingers crept lower. But, sometimes, Horace had to admit it was just as fun being bad.

Lawr's breath audibly caught at the contact. "Because I liked to hear it." he said distantly. "I miss hearing it, I miss being loved the way you loved. It left a void. A void I want to fill."

He reached up with his only hand and raked his fingers through Horace's hair, clenching his hand into a fist and seizing it once he had enough. "If you let me I will be the one to decide that."

Pretty words, pretty words. Though they were nice to hear, Horace knew they were only words, even if he felt a painful tug in his chest. Lawr had Melvin, who thought he loved him, at least - wasn't that enough? Melvin, who was okay with this sort of thing. Horace had asked, and he wondered if that was when he'd decided to buy another six-pack, if that was when he'd decided to throw things to the wind. He didn't wanna think about it anymore, but he knew he'd hold out on saying those words. He'd try. Lawr didn't need an 'I love you' from him anymore.

So Horace stayed silent, not trusting his own words. He tensed as Lawr ran slender fingers through his hair, knowing, hoping for what was coming. At the grip, he gasped, automatically tilting his head back. His hand still stayed where it was, fingers stilled only for a moment. This time might be different. "You'll have to make me say it." He wasn't confident of anything right now, much less his ability to resist Lawr.

Lawrence took the silence as he always did as doubt and smiled, tugging Horace's head back even further and leaning in to kiss his exposed throat, following up with teeth.

"Then it's a deal." he said.
