As he was asked to get a honeycomb, Blue Blood grinned, moving off to where he knew some could be found, even in this chill. A beehive was something you tended to year round, and getting a fresh honeycomb without killing the hive was difficult. But a quick favor for a favor and soon, a sweet, fresh piece of honeycomb was in his possession and offered up to the pair. (2 Tokens)

Time to Go had been busy with - ah - a Westfen project lately, but that still meant she spent a large amount of time near the market. Especially considering she was the designated Westward Bound-watcher. Still, she hadn't been by this booth in a while, and she had missed it. These kin were...a little bit like-minded, she thought.
"Hello," said Time to Go sharply as she approached. "I'd have some time for some more gathering, if you're up for another trade." She pointedly ignored any other kin present.
"A...rock?" she asked. "Yes. I can locate a rock for you."
She wasn't sure what exactly they wanted the rock for. A large one, to provide stability? She couldn't carry it on her own - that was what builders were for (thank you, Westward Bound). Small ones, to fill holes? Worse, aesthetically pleasing ones? Time to Go did not often think of aesthetics. Matope was lovely enough on its own: she only had time for practicality. Still, she'd noticed that the charm they'd provided for her was painted with berry juice. Unusual indeed.
She headed for a saltmarsh in the hope of an interesting rock - and there were certainly plenty of salt crystals here. But after she'd worn down three of them in her mouth, she figured it'd be futile to bring one back intact. Her tongue already tasted disgusting, and it might be best to salvage her working relationship with the twins by returning promptly. "I tried to bring salt crystals," she said, shaking her head. They were useful for preservation, after all. "But they're very...edible."
With any luck that was sufficient explanation for her abject failure. "Please let me know should you need more help," she said, nodding.

Wax accepts the honey comb, placing it in an empty turtle shell, while Wane passes over the buck's prize. Both listening to the details for his charm, hmming and nodding.
"Surely you don't need..""a charm for that, cutie." both twins giving him a flirty look.
((I had no idea these two are such flirts. XD I've been kicked in the face with a cold from hell, but I'll get it done asap.))

The twins give her a sympathetic look, having had their own trouble with salt crystals. "Have some berries..""to wash away the taste." they say, Wax nudging over a shell full of many kinds of berries.
((You are welcome. <3 The dice are plotting g against you. "How many ways can the same person eat a rock?" XD ))

Chaos looked carefully at the flirty meti as she shook her hips, impossible for him to focus on her stars... "So I see..." he responded. "No stars for me though, just a bunch of scars."

"Thank you," said Time to Go, with considerable surprise. She took a berry and nodded her good-bye. "I'll return when I'm more prepared, I think. Your charms are very lovely."

the dice reaaaally want to see people eat rocks, i guess? biggrin ;;
As luck would have it the twins had the needed materials on hand, so it was just a matter of assembly. A small ribcage, steeped in rose petals, and a chunk of jade just right to fit into the partial skeleton. It took a bit of maneuvering, but Wane got the stone wedged in.
Time to Go shook her head as she approached the twins' booth again. She needed dignity: she was a representative of Westfen. She nodded to their request and headed off. A feather, hmm?
Well: the obvious answer was a hawk feather. She wasn't a hunter, but she was a valued gatherer, and anyway: Westfen had its own resident eaglehawks.
More impressive, she thought, were down feathers. So she went for one: soft and tiny. Unfortunately it was perhaps too tiny: she swallowed it easily, its fibers barely tickling her throat as it went down.
Whispers Softly shyly walked up toward the booth and listened to what the twins wanted.
Oh bird feathers. Why she had enough of those. but instead of going home to grab them some, she wandered around the booth's vicinity for fresh feathers.
When she found some, they were feathers of tiny finches.. Not knowing how well it will go as she scooped them all into her mouth...
When she made her way back towards the booth, she wanted to show the twins that she had found some. She made a blowing motion with her mouth, trying to get the feathers out, but nothing landed onto the counter. She blew again and there was still no feathers.
Whispers blushed and looked at the twins. "I have them here in my mouth," she told them and tried to get them out through spitting now. But alas nothing came out. "Oh...Sorry... They disappeared..."
False Light wanders over to the next booth and sees a pair of twins. Going up, it seems to be a simple seek and find. Whatever the twins want, you seek, and bring it back. Depending on the condition, earns you a token and maybe a charm.
False Light bit back a retort. Her seeking stuff when it is suppose to be the other way around, but if she wants a token she needs to comply.
The twins ask her to bring back a pomegranate fruit and she almost curse. She ate a pomegranate in a previous booth and she should have saved it. But not all was lost. She ran back to the spot and looked around for another pomegranate. She found a rotted one and a ripe one before so there should be a tree where it bears fruit. She smiled when she found the tree, picking a ripe one and bring it back.
The twins gave her a token and allowed her to pick a charm for herself. After gathering her prizes, she left.
A slender kin with glowing eyes walked towards the booth. He grunted and breathed through his nostrils as he listened to what the twins wanted.
Bird feathers? Who would want bird feathers? The zikwa was not pleased hearing their request. Surely they wanted mushrooms, or rotting flesh, maybe even a carcass. But no, there were more interesting items to retrieve...
Bird feathers are literally all over the swamp and he found it quite a stupid task. Empty Promises grunted once more and picked up two feathers that laid on the ground right by the booth. He didn't even have to go anywhere to find them.
Showing the twins his two feathers, he grunted again, quite irritated, and decided to eat it. No one can question what this zikwa is doing for he crawled back underneath the earth and back underground.
Heck, he had more fun fighting a Caveworm. Empty Promises snorted and meandered back through the dark tunnels refusing to go back up to play the winter events.
Time to Go needed to prove herself. She had been doing so badly with this booth of late, but it was the one she wanted to impress the most. A pity.
Well, she was still willing to show her face. "I'll definitely find you some fruit," she told them. And she wouldn't eat it, this time. Actually, she had just the thing in mind: a pair of ripe, juicy tangerines.
Well, ordinarily she was good at gathering. And she still was. But today, try as she might, she could only knock bruised fruits from the tree. But bruised fruits were still fruits, she decided, before she could give up entirely. So she picked them up and delivered two to the twins: the most she could carry in her mouth, really. "Here," she said.
k dice stop making my kin eat feathers. geez eating bones is even worse~! Small animal bones/skull (small meaning a small bone from any size animal, skulls should be about foxbun to eaglehound in size)
A ghostly pale doe appeared infront of the twins' booth and she was not the slightest in a happy mood. She stared with cold calculating eyes as she waited for her task.
When it was received she went all the way to her mother's treasure trove and picked out a small squirrel skull. Picking it up with her teeth, she started to get back to the booth.
When she got there, she vaguely remembered what she was doing since she had other thoughts in mind and ate the skull. It tasted salty as she swallowed the skull in one go.
"Next time..." she told the twins at the booth and wandered off as if gliding on the ground with her hooves.
At this point it was just a matter of pride: impressing the twins no longer mattered. Time to Go smiled at them. "Shells, is it?" she asked. Time to go searching. (Heh.)
She was at least going to be the quickest collector, if not a purveyor of the highest-quality goods. She liberated a number of beautifully-colored snail shells from...uh, from the snails, and cleaned out the insides with a few quick bites. They were slightly cracked, but still usable. "Here you go," she told them, and she took her prize gratefully.
At this point, Time to Go's face must have been familiar to the twins. She kept showing up anyway. She was a doe on a mission now.
It wasn't even like she was particularly gluttonous, she thought. She ate a reasonable amount for a kimeti, always careful not to leech too many of Westfen's resources. Or at least - not to eat more than she foraged for, herself.
"I'll find you better tangerines today," she said to the pair, and she went off to do just that.
The tangerines she found were indeed of good quality, and she brought them back with a happy hum. She'd, er, had a little extra - but who would mind that, in all honesty?
