Eilwen had been trying to avoid looking by the buildings, she always looked there. Surely the perfect spot would be a little further away right? However, when she heard her name called her head snapped in Gaius's direction. She made her way over to where the small mutant was. It really was a nice location! He really had a good eye for these things.
"It does look great!" She bent down onto her knew so that she could start digging the two little holes they would need for their flowers. "Are you considering working with plants when you grow up?" He seemed like he'd really enjoy that after all! It also seemed like it would suit him better for a career than just a hobby.
She was making pretty quick progress with the holes they needed. After all their little flowers were still small and you wanted to leave a bit of the soil from the pot exposed for the nutrients to be easily absorbed by the plant. Once she was satisfied with them she stepped back so that Gaius could get a look at her work.

With her approval, he gave a wider grin, and settled before the area indicated. Lowering to sit on his knees, he placed their potted flowers carefully onto the ground nearby, so he could assist in the shoveling process.
Working alongside her, mostly pushing the freshly uprooted soil off to the side and out the way for the time being, until it was needed. With her question, he tilted his head a little, watching the holes get deeper and deeper, before sliding his gaze to the patiently waiting flowers, "I'd like to yeah." he paused, and smiled, "And with animals." he added on. "They're both really cool." how could he choose just one?
Glancing to the chimera, he returned the question, "What about you?" When the holes were completed, he gently picked up each of their flowers, placing Eilwen's before her. Using his bare hands, he dug into the pot to scoop out the plant as best he could, and transferred it over to the ground, gently packing and filling it in to its new home.

Eilwen wasn't really surprised when Gaius added on that he would also like to work with animals. That seemed to suit him well, he already seemed so talented with plants. At least from what she had seen in class and today. She didn't really think she had a green thumb, but well she'd never really tried to care for any flowers or plants before the school project.
She sat down in front of the hole she had dug and worked her flower out of it's pot as she answer Gaius' question. "I want to design buildings when I grow up. Right now I just build a lot of models and things in my spare time." She didn't think she'd be that good working with plants or animals, she didn't really have that special touch. So, she had settled on a more technical skill.
She filled in the space around her flower and than stood back up to oversee their work. She folded her arms in front of her and nodded. "They look great there! Thanks for helping me find a good spot for them now!" It was than that a bell rang from inside of the main building. "Oh wow, is it dinner time already?" She took one last look at the scene and then dusted off the dirt from her hands. "I suppose we ought to return the shovel and then find some food." She started to head back toward the entrance than.
musicaloner7 We could leave it there if ya wanna! Or you could post one more time with Gaius! c:
