A smile was twitching its way onto Orin's face again; he was trying very hard to keep it together. He nodded enthusiastically after a moment, but not without a few laughs escaping him.
"I guess! But people change all the time, so I could change, too! I will change, eventually—I just gotta make sure that when I do, it's in the right direction! …Man, you should give my dad dating advice. He's always got some excuse for why he can't, you know? Too busy he says the most, and…"
Orin shrugged. "I guess that's true, he works a lot to make sure I'm happy and have everything I need. But he meets so many people at the restaurant? Is it too much to ask for, you know, to want some fancy, classy lady—oh, or man, I don't care—to come sweep him off his feet?"
He sighed, a bit over dramatically, but then smiled at her again. "You're totally a Russian beauty. Oh—well, are you Russian? If you are, then you totally fit the bill. If you're not Russian, you're still cool, so it's still basically the whole package."

Olga laughed. "What? Me give advice? You're the one who's spouting off incredibly wise words! I dunno why you're asking me for advice---" She leaned across the table and poked his forehead. "You got it all already in that noggin of your's!" She grinned, taking another sip of her milkshake. "Hey---when you're older and after you graduated college and what not---you can make it your goal to take care of your dad! That way, he can start having more time to hit the dating scene, yeah? There's no such thing as too late or too old!" She beamed, but then blinked. "Me? Oh, no, I'm not Russian! But, awwwwww! You're so sweet, Orin!" She flashed him a fox eyed grin. "Any girl--- or guy---" She winked at him, "Is so lucky to have you! You're awesome!" She flashed him a thumbs up. "So what else is going on, huh? Dad not dating and girlfriend worries aside!"

Orin laughed, and honestly couldn’t imagine being in a better mood. He helped himself to enough of his milkshake that he should have gotten brain freeze, but it didn't seem to slow him down at all. "Nothing!" he proclaimed. "Literally, positively nothing! All I do is worry about them! I mean, sometimes I'm going out and uh, playing outside," he shrugged. "But I'm trying to be more professional. You know," he shrugged, and didn't expand—either because he knew it wasn't a good idea to ramble about being powered in a public place…or because it seemed like he wasn't done trying to give himself brain freeze. He wrapped his lips around the milkshake and finished off another good chunk of it before he shrugged and leaned back in his seat.
"My life isn't exciting at all if you take out the worries. There's only really the usuals. You know, school, chores, oh—I guess I've been making a lot of artsy things, but that's just because I like playing with glue. And glitter. Except, I'm pretty sure if I blew my nose right now it would look like a confetti bomb went off. I had a, uhm. An accident last night."
He laughed, somewhat awkwardly, but seemed to be having a genuine chuckle at whatever misfortune had befallen him the night before. "—What about you? Besides showering people in milkshakes and being a cool, Russian beauty, I mean."

"Pffffft---hey, I still go play outside." Olga assured him with a firm nod, and laughed. "That all sounds great! There's nothing wrong with that at all! Ooh! What kind of artsy things have you been doing? Aside from the glue and glitter bombs, anyways." She teased, and then let out a soft choking sound. He was just so cute, calling her a cool Russian beauty. "Yanno, you're going to be the best husband one day!" She told him seriously, and then grinned. "Just the usual---school, homework, riding, writing commissions, working on my novel idea---and then the other usual---" Which she left unspoken. The patrolling and the dusting and the agent stopping and what not. "Nothing really to write home about, yeah? But no news is good news, right?"

"Mostly just glue and glitter bombs!" Orin said; he couldn’t help but snicker and laugh at himself. His interest had peaked though; he leaned forward, interested. "What do you mean writing commissions? —You write? You're writing a novel? About what! Oh!" His eyes widened. "Oh, I bet it's a romance! With a beautiful protagonist who is as tough as nails, and her hot, uniformed man-friend!"
He seemed excited, but was quick to dismiss his hypothetical idea. "—But it's so cool that you write! I wish I was that creative! Oh, I hope you write an awesome book and it gets super popular!"
Orin seemed to have a dozen questions and had to bite down on his lip to stop himself from talking while he waited for her to fill him on.
