Path had made her way into this gathering with her brother and father, though they'd split off fairly soon after that, with Path finding her own way, Twist chasing some pretty doe, and her father heading off to see if Wrong Turn was around. She'd made her way here, to an odd-looking buck with a broad tail. She'd nearly lost herself in his gorgeous hide for a moment- so many scales, like a fish- but he'd spoken, and she blinked, looked down at the pool of water he was indicating. She looked back to him. "Say that again? I was lost a moment..." He repeated himself, and she turned back to the pool and closed her eyes, lowering her hoof into the water. A hard thing, and it sounded hollow- perhaps a shell or a log, or else crystal. She thought on it, and then settled on, "Is it a skull, sunken into the water?" Her answer was met with a befuddled look, and he looked... troubled as he looked into the pool as well. No matter. She drew away, to go find somebody else to talk to...

"I don't think anything could hurt me even if it tried," Wild Green Stones laughed. He was the baddest boy here, right?
When he reached in he couldn't really feel anything, and he didn't feel like explaining that he was mostly blind. When he reached out he shrugged. "Bet it's, like, tar, or something." That'd explain his not feeling much of anything, right? Because tar was a liquid?
When his answer was confirmed, he rolled his eyes. Well, at least he didn't mind getting dirty.

Path had told her it was... this way, right? And that there was a 'beautiful blue buck with a fishy tail instead of fluff' running- ah, there he was! Free moved closer, and smiled shyly as she listened to him explain what she was to do- seems she was the first here today. She nodded a little, and slipped her hoof daintily into the pool of water. What met her hoof was... odd. Hard, but mossy. Almost brittle-sounding, even through the murky water. She'd heard of this kind of thing before... "Is this... coral?" The smile he gave her, as well as the token, was rather kind, and confirmed her guess. She bowed her head, and then put it with the others in her stole, and hummed faintly. There was a noise off in the distance like cracking boughs- perhaps she'd go check that out...

Sings approached the pool, oohing as he peered into it. He loved these new games he was coming across! "Alright, lets see what lies beneath." He approaches the edge and plunges his hoof into the cold water. Something light and feathery brushes across it, tingling with life! Sings of sunlight snickers before bouncing up to the blue buck, whispering in his ear what he suspects the creature to be. His grin brightens tenfold as he is awarded with a token for his efforts. "Thank you! I'll have to return tomorrow." It was a good game.

"I'll take a gander," said Lily, looking this nice scaled blue buck over appreciatively. "Are you part acha?" She couldn't actually imagine that anyone who was part acha would also have a fish tail, but it did remain to be seen. Oh, wait. He wanted her to...put her hoof in here? Well, she'd already been fishing. Why not? She stuck her hoof in and felt around... It was much, much colder in this pool than in that one doe's. And inside she felt something...rubbery? What could it be? "I'd guess it's some hardened sap," she said, shrugging. "Or, well - a pelt that's been preserved in sap? And then...also cold?" Hey, sue her. She wasn't a creative doe, okay. She was a victorious one.

Deep Water Fears looked up from his spot, eyes blinking slowly as he thought on her question. "No. I am quite sure both my dam and sire were kimeti. "But you are correct in your other guess." A hoof motioned to the pools. "I made sure the water is very cold. It makes it harder for everyone to figure it out. As for my line.." A stretch out, his tail flicked back and forth behind him. "I am unique as my dam would say. Thus far I haven't met many like myself, yet I am sure I cannot be the only one."

"Weird," said Lily. "But I think I like it." She grinned briefly at him, and then flicked her tail lazily. "Or maybe I just like guessing correctly," she admitted. "Well - I'll see you around!" She turned and picked her new token up off the ground, before scampering off.

"I'll take a guess," said First to Strike. "More fish, right? 'Cause you're a fish." He grinned smarmily, wandering closer with Grumble matching his every step.
He hadn't even dipped his hoof in the water yet, and it took him only a few seconds to ascertain that there was definitely something shelled in there. Whoops. "Well, it could've been a crawfish," he mumbled, but he wandered off tokenless anyway.

Streams of silver was not amuzed as she felt a bite from the water. "Really?" She crossly asked the murky water, turning to the buck. "It's an octopus." She knew that feeling– it had to be. Still, she was turned away with a shake of the head and without a token– most vexing, really.

20 December 91-100:You feel something that OW! It BIT you! It wasn't teeth though, more like a beak. A peck really. 71-90: Deep Water Fears notes your kins word with a long hum before pushing a token towards them. "You are very good at this. Please, try again a little later!" (Token win) ----------------------------------- "Hello, hello," replied Undertaker. "Good day!" She looked around and noticed that this place was full of pools of water. "Games. I like games," she went on trying to keep a conversation going, and had no idea which one to choose and decided to go with the one beside the blue kin. Dipping her entire leg into it, she swirled and wiggled her leg around to feel for something to guess on. "OUCH WHAT WAS THAT" she screamed as she felt another peck on her leg, this time less painful than the first. Hmm.. Hmm.. "Oh, this is cool. It's a platypus! I thought they were all dead." She found the animals squishy body and gave it a light squish with her hoof before being greeted with another peck of its beak again not liking the stranger's leg in its little hole. Pulling out her leg, she took her win and nodded back at Deep Waters. "Perhaps I will come back to play again. And no more pecking at my bony leg."

Unobtainable walked to the pools and looked into them. She looked at the odd blue male, though he had an interesting tail just like she did. "So i just put a leg in?" she said softly, not scared in the slightest. She could have fun with it if she found the right thing. She picked one and walked close enough to lower her whole front half into the water. It was cool and comforting to her. She felt something touching her leg, sliding over her in much the same way her tail ran over her body sometimes.
Comfort....It brought an odd smile to her face as she rumbled pleasantly and looked at the male. "Is my mother in here?" She asked softly as she tried to look through the dark surface into what was touching her leg as she pulled herself out and felt it longingly trying to keep her. She knew her mother had never held her like that and part of her wished she had.
When the male said no she frowned and nodded. "Thank you." she said softly as she curled her tentacle around her back leg and tried to get the same comfort from her own tail but it just wasn't the same in the slightest.

21 December 71-80: You feel something furry and warm. 11-60: As you tell Deep Water Fears what you think it is, he grins, pushing a token towards you. "Very good. Just keep it secret." He says with a wink. (Token win) ----------------------------------- "Hello, hello, it's me again," she shouted and echoed her voice throughout the place as she spoke to Deep Waters. I have come back, I have come back like said I should." This time she picked the hole the furthest away from the blue kin and almost immediately dipped her leg into it. "Please no pecking, please no pecking," she prayed as she swirled her leg around. There were no pecks aimed at her but instead there was soft purring. Undertaker perked her ears wide and listened closely, her head staring down into the fogged up hole. "Purring?" She listened again. This time she carefully moved her leg to the center of the mystery hole... It hit something soft, but warm. Something furry, but warm... When she stroked it, it purred again, and she felt a fluffy tail whisp past her. "Sir, sir Blue," she called out to him, no idea what his name even is. "I believe it is a Fennec in this hole." His grinning face told her that she was indeed quite good and lucky at this game. She took the token happily and wagged her tail. "I will stop by again after having eggy for breakfast until this event is over." She is definitely a freeloader when it comes to free food. "How did you come up with this game?" she asked him.

Lime walks up to the other buck, listening to the instructions. Choosing a pool he dips a front leg in feeling around.
Giving it a careful tap, he looks at the buck. "Is it a turtle shell?" he asks. The buck just shakes his head, saying he can try again later. Shrugging Lime Wane's off to see the rest of the market.18, 70 11-20: You feel something hard and it sounds like a shell of some sort 61-70: As you make your claim, Deep Water Fears just shakes his head, saying to try again later. "HMMMMM," the zikwa squints and squishes his face about as he thinks about what his hoof could be touching. It's slick and cold and dark. Frowning deeply he shakes his head. "I SHOULD NOT BE TOUCHING SUCH UNACCEPTABLE THIINGS," he takes a deep breath, "BUT I BELIEVE THIS FILTH TO BE ROTTEN DUCKWEED" The blue buck running the booth winks and pushes a token at Unacceptable. "Just keep it quiet, alright?" "MMMmmmm," he tries to whisper in vain. "Yes, that will do!!" Quote: 81-90: As you feel around, you notice the water getting thicker and become darker, nearly black. Pulling away, you realize the water has turned to black slime. 11-60: As you tell Deep Water Fears what you think it is, he grins, pushing a token towards you. "Very good. Just keep it secret." He says with a wink. (Token win)

Deep Water Fears had no shortage of strange things in the various pools around him, and in a few, he'd almost forgotten what he'd placed in them. Or what might have just gone into them of their own violation. To answer the doe's question he walked over, looking into the particular pool of water. "It came to me as many things do. Naturally. I just thought it would be fun to guess what was in them and win for being right. Everyone likes to be right and win things do they not?" He might not have put a fennec in the water but hey, he'd not remove it. If thats where the little thing wished to be... he'd let them have their pool. Deep Water Fears watched the other buck go and couldn't help but wonder- what as so unacceptable? And duckweed was highly tasty in certain dishes. Clearly, that poor buck had no idea of fine culinary cuisine.
