Feeling light headed from the pain in her chest she watched as Ming'we got ready to fire another bolt at her. V'demhe didn't have it in her to panic or even move. Instead she stared. Then something miraculous happened! Ming missed! A breath escaped her that she hadn't known she was holding. Now she needed to end this before someone got seriously injured. Forcing herself up she kept one hand on the protruding object in her chest while the other flexed and swung out. If she did it right she could land the dull side of her blade on Ming's temple and end this.
