Yonder hated to see anything killed- even though these seemed to be pests, her heart was softer than it should be. "What about telling them they originally came from far, far away- the desert, perhaps- and then instilling feelings of deep loneliness by spending more time with your family and constantly talking about how great it is so that they'll be encouraged to go elsewhere to find theirs?"

Maxx D +2 additional tokens for the Dec 15 win Albatross was a doe of simple pleasures, and was delighted by the small compliment. Although she didn't put much stock into what was said, she appreciated the attempt at levity during the somewhat perplexing situation. As the night waned and day began, she was amazed to find that a score of furbies had gone. "Well, well, let's see what this new day (December 16) has in store for us"

"For today, I suggest giving them all a nice dunking in the swamp over there. They could entertain the crocodile babies"

As the doe was still taking suggestions, Blue Blood made another. "Use honey mixed with sap to have them stick to each other, then roll them around until they are coated by moss and the like. Then, they could just be rolled into river left to drift down stream to.. where ever."

"Just give them to me! I'll take all the little fluff balls! But seriously though, if you have any you don't want, I'll take them home with me!"

So, pushing them over a ledge wasn't a popular opinion. All right. Sun Sinks Down thought a while, then sucked in a breath as an idea came to her. "Wad them up, like the little balls of fluff they are, then tuck them between the roots of a tree. By the time they crawl out, they'll forget what they're after and leave you alone."

Thunderstep overheard the conversation, and eyed the odd creatures the doe was trying to rid herself of. Their off gazes were disturbing. He honestly could have agreed with using them for bait of some sort... "You could always use them as Giant Wasp bait instead." Thunderstep nodded towards the creatures "Like tiny living shields...and those beasts prefer their meals live I think." Thunderstep snorted softly, the wasps and the furbies would make quite the creepy pair.

While stuffing them, brainwashing them of past species memories of the desert, rolled into one large furry snowball, simply giving them away or stuffing between tree roos were great, Albatross paused to consider each participant. Excusing herself from the group, she feigned sleepiness. The night came and more furbies mysteriously disappeared with a trail of honey down a slope.

"There's a legend in the mountains of a creature called the lemming, who is said to be so stupid that whole herds of them follow each other off of cliffs. I propose an experiment in which you find out just how feasible this is." Follows Chalk nodded and sniffed. "They don't look particularly intelligent, really."

Walk this Road eyes the ugly little creatures, addressing Albatross. "If kicked they'd roll, right? Why not use them to play a game, a good swift kick or two should do it."

Breaks Bones giggled at the sight of the strange creature, wondering if perhaps their pets were as soft as they looked. "If you wish to be rid of them, there are plants in the swamp that enjoy a meaty meal here and there. Why not let nature do the work for you? Trap plants are wonderful for getting rid of pests."

Streams of Silver generally thought about things for the long term. "This is, perhaps, a more drawn-out solution, but if you teach them to enjoy eating their own eggs, that will help the solution longterm. Especially if there is infighting with trying to protect their nests." She paused to consider.
"Either that, or you could dress up some spiders so their back-ends look like whatever they seem to seek in a mate." Decoys usually worked wonderfully well.

"You could make whacking them, with hoof or a sturdy branch, a game. The one who whacks the most wins?" Although what a kin would win, well, that would be someone else's decision. Aching Bones just wanted a nap.

It seemed the doe was still stuck with her problem and so, Blue Blood came with another suggestion. "One could in theory, create a large one made of branches and have it be hollow. Urge them to take shelter from the cold inside... Now I'm not saying you should but it they happen to get trapped and the wooden thing caught fire now.. That would just be an accident is all." "A happy accident in the shape of one of them just on fire."

Kiss of Life heard the suggestions being called out as she wandered past the booth and, amused, couldn't help but offer her own. "Train them to be very still, of course. Once they're still, you can tuck flowers into their pelts and have your very own living decorations. Of course, you'd have to warn them to stay just as still as they began. On pain of trampling." She glanced around at the gathered kin, then smiled prettily. "You'd be surprised how few things enjoy being trampled."
