Gael listened to the rambling as he continued to open the shellfish for his familiar to finish off. "I have a girl that I hope is more than a friend." The way he thought of it.. he was in the middle of courting. Not that he really wanted to discuss that with an Oban.
The question about his family had him eyeing the man. "I do. Some were even taken as slaves back in the day." Gael could have blamed this Oban but well, he didn't look that much older than him. "We never got the ones that were taken back." His shoulders lifted up slightly. It wasn't that he didn't care, he just couldn't do anything about it.
