Student's Name: Sepphora Recipe: Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers
Short RP response of them turning it in for approval: Today they were actually going to get to cook? Awesome! Sepphora began to look through different recipes to spawn ideas of something she might like to make. Of course she had a taste for more complex things, so narrowing things down to a three ingredient recipe was going to be a bit of a task. After some search, she actually found something that sounded pretty good! Getting up from her seat, she walked over to Ms. Hehkua and showed her a recipe for cream cheese filled bacon wrapped jalapenos! "I don't know about you, but to me that sounds super yummy." she said with a big smirk on her face.

Student's Name: Rica Recipe: [Ham and Egg Breakfast bowl]
Short RP response of them turning it in for approval: Rica scratched her head for awhile over this assignment. Three ingredients? That would certainly make each ingredient super important, but that left little room for error. She thought of the things that her mother made her, one by one until it dawned upon her. "Oh, Ms. Sokeri, I think I know what I want to make. My mom used to make this really good breakfast bowl every morning for me and it only uses egg, ham and cheese. What do you think? "

Student's Name: T'kani Recipe: Trifle (First link first recipe, I know, but it looks good. D; ) RP response: T'kani blinked at the teacher's instructions, looking down at her hands. It seemed like a fun project, but...ugh... She hated this part, at least she had learned to wear long-sleeves for this class.
Rolling up her sleeves, she did her best to wash her hands and the fur covering most of her fingers, drying them off and fixing her sleeves once they were suitably done. Next she took out a pair of thin plastic gloves, slipping them over her claws and tucking the end under the sleeves. There, now she wouldn't add fur to the cakey-mess. The gloves were magically reinforced to prevent her claws from tearing through, which usually worked.
======
At the end of the period, and a lot of mess later, she looked over the finished product. It seemed so...haphazard, but perhaps that was the point? Either way, she got to take it back to the dorm, so it wasn't so bad in the end.

 Bustling about, trying to keep an eye on everything at once, Sokeri raised her head as a student approached her, taking a few steps forward to meet with them. "Sepphora, right? Alright, whatcha got?"Reaching out for the offered recipe, she scanned it and then nodded. She wasn't sure on their stock of jalapenos, but if not this would still work and be a great lesson in improvisation as well. "Give me a moment to check and see what we have in terms of peppers, but I know we have the other two. Scrub up and start preheating the oven at your station and I'll be there in a moment."While rummaging in the supplies, she heard her name being called out. Grabbing what was needed, she scuttled over to the student that was looking at her questioningly. Listening to Rica's idea, she nodded her approval. There wasn't too much trouble a student could get into with a microwave, and Nine knew, the latest craze of one-minute meals prepared in a cup in a microwave was probably a breath of relief for university students everywhere. "Looks good, you should find all three in the supplies fridge in the back. Holler if you need help, and make sure you wash your hands before food prep."With that taken care of, she went to Sepphora's station, depositing a package of cream cheese, bacon, and a couple of peppers. "Didn't have too many jalapenos, but hopefully there's enough here to make at least a sample for everyone. I also brought a bell pepper if you wanted to cut it into quarters and try as well."After washing her hands and then directing Sepphora to wash the peppers, she helped cut the first few and then just watched as her student handled the rest. "Ok, good. Go ahead and assemble, but come grab me when you're ready for them to go in the oven."You may proceed with your second post! It is fine to assume that once the poppers are prepped for the oven, Sepphora alerted Sokeri and she just came over to watch for safety reasons as Sepphora put them in the oven, and to take them back out again. Otherwise if you like, you can quote me again and I can write a response once Sepphora's done with prep. Whichever works for you. You may proceed with your second post!

Student's Name: Rica Short RP response: The goblin beamed as she got the approval from her teacher, "Thank you Ms. Sokeri!" And with that, she made her way over to the fridge, grabbing up the ingredients and placing them on her prep station. Maybe that was the nice thing about having three ingredients, not much prep work and less to clean up. Rica made her way to the sink and scrubbed, making sure to get under her claws just in case before returning to her prep station to get started.
She brought down the small, microwave-safe ramekin and bowl, a wisk and a knife. Chopping the ham up, she laid it on the bottom of the ramekin just as the recipe said before turning her attention to the bowl. This was nice, relaxing even she thought to herself as she cracked the egg into the bowl. She double checked that there were no pieces of shell before she began to wisk. Maybe it would be nice and fluffy! She really hoped that Ms. Sokeri liked it. With that, she poured the beaten egg into the ramekin and made her way over to the microwave. 30 seconds in, she stirred and with that, she pulled it out with a pot holder and sprinkled the cheese on top.
"Ms. Sokeri, it's done! What would you like me to do?" She placed it on her prep station with a smile. It looked pretty good, just like her mom's! She was actually really proud of it.

Student's Name: Sepphora Short RP response: Once she had the go-ahead from the teacher, as well as help with the supplies, Sepphora watched as the first few peppers were cut in preparation. Giving a nod to Ms. Hehkua, she took over from there, washing her hands first, of course. Cooking wasn't new to her. She began in the kitchen when she was a little 'tatter tot' as her parents so lovingly called her. After the peppers were taken care of, bell included, she proceeded to scoop the cream cheese into them. Wrapping with bacon to follow. Sliding the tooth picks through to hold the bacon in place was the last step before putting them in the oven. She waved to her teacher, who came to observe and make sure all went well with sliding the sheet pan into the oven. The timer was set and now all that was left was to wait.
It felt like forever for the timer to go off, but at least cleaning her station took up a good amount of the wait. The smell of peppers and bacon teased her nose and soon the timer went off. She called her teacher over once more, and once Ms. Hehkua was there to supervise, she cracked the oven to take a peek. Perfection! The bacon had gotten a lovely color and the cream cheese had this light golden look in places where it wasn't hidden beneath the meaty wrap. Quickly turning the appliance off, oven mitts at the ready, Sepphora pulled the pan from the oven and set it on a cooling rack she had made sure to get out. "They're gonna be hot for a few, but they should cool down soon~ I'm pretty sure there's enough for the class... if they are brave enough!" she said with a chime in her tone and a smirk on her face.
She gave them a couple minutes of cooling before pulling the toothpicks out and setting them on a serving platter. Of course they were still a bit on the hot-ish side, but they were cool enough!... to her at least. She never really had the patience to wait too long when it came to good food! "Enjoy~, but be careful. They might still be a little hot."

Student's Name: Ustule Recipe: Banana, Egg, and Cinnamon pancakesShort RP response of them turning it in for approval: Ustule took a while to consider her choice of recipe. In the end, after some research, she picked a pancake recipe. She still wasn't really used to the idea of bananas and readily-available cinnamon, but at least pancakes she understood. Her recipe would require some frying on the stove, but she was confident in her ability to do it, even with a teacher on hand. She wrote down the recipe in neat, meticulous writing, and handed it in to the teacher for approval. Instead of waiting for her reply, she went back to her desk and waited there. She didn't want to disturb the teacher or pressure her or anything.

Student's Name: Katinka Recipe: Insanely Easy 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
Short RP response of them turning it in for approval: Tinka had never really put much thought into cooking, but she did really enjoy eating. It made sense to at least try to take a cooking class to learn some basics anyways! She didn't have anyone else to teach her these sort of things anyways. As she poked through recipe after recipe, it took her a little time to find something that would be easy for a beginner, but still yummy! Then she hit the jackpot! The mother of all easy and delish recipes! Peanut. Butter. Cookies. She had to try these! Hopping up, she ran up to Sokeri, holding it up in front of her face. "I want to make these, please!"

Student's Name: Keegan Recipe: Mashed Potatoes with sour cream and butter! Short RP response of them turning it in for approval: He tapped a claw on the counter top as he flipped through a food magazine. If her was hungry with limited resources what could he see himself cooking up? Keegan practically fantasized about a big delicious burger with all the toppings. Eh, maybe that would be more than 3 ingredients. He saw a picture of mashed potatoes and thought of the ingredients in it. One potatoes, two sour cream and three butter... It would be better with black pepper but it would be good enough for this assignment. "Ms. Sokeri I want to make mashed potatoes. Eh, I guess I might need some help peeling the potatoes, but I can boil them and mash them up no problem." He said in confidence. Student's Name: Favrielle Recipe: French Toast CakeRP response: She sat there with her crumbled cake slices trying to figure out what to do with them. The texture slightly stale it reminded her of the other day when her boyfriend tried his hands at French Toast for the first time. "Ooo! That will work nicely" She made her way through the class room grabbing a bowl, some eggs, a whisk and some spices. The demon carefully cracked the eggs and whisked in the spices before turning on her stove and getting her pan nice and hot. Dipping the cake in the egg mixture was kind of messy, but it was just a messy kind of day apparently. She quickly got the eggy cake into the pan and hoped it would cooperate. It seemed to brown nicely and flip easily. The cake tasted good on it own so hopefully doing this would only help and not suddenly make it taste gross. Instead of making some kind of fresh icing for it she just used bottled syrup. She took a bit of it and it just melted in her mouth. Favrielle was super happy with it, but if she made this again she would probably smother it in icing. Mmmmm!~

 Sliding over to Rica's station once Sepphora was set, she checked to make sure Rica was ok with cutting up the ham before moving on to pick up the paper left on her desk by Ustule. This was a good one, and needed minimum supervision. She'd just need to watch for a bit to make sure the stove top was dealt with properly. Sokeri was rather proud of this class, no trouble makers to worry about and everyone had been very responsible. "Ustule? You're set! This looks good, and we should have everything. Let me know once you have everything mixed and are preping the pan so I can swing by."Suddenly student! Leaning back so she could actually see what was being held up to her rather than just a wall of paper, Sokeri laughed and took the sheet to scan it. Simple cookies, so only the oven to worry about. "Ok Katinka, get the peanut butter and sugar out of the stock cabinets and there should still be plenty of eggs. Go ahead and do everything up until the point of putting the cookie sheets into the oven, then come snag me so I can watch while you do that to be safe."Turning the sheet back over to her, her attention was turned to the Grimm that called out for her and Sokeri walked over to his table and looked down at the magazine. Mashed potatoes were definitely one of those things that could be dressed up or down as needed. This was going to be one of the projects she'd need to check repeatedly on though. Lots going on, and a lot of potential for injury. Still, her students had all been well mannered and she doubted that Keegan would be tossing knives as it were. "I'll peel and cut up the first few with you, and show you how to slip them into the hot pot so you're not getting splashed with boiling water, but after that I'll let you off the hook, but come grab me if you get nervous or just need an extra set of hands."Good on her word, she cycled through all the students, lending a hand here or keeping a watchful eye there. She'd be sleeping well tonight after all the running around, but that was always part of the excitement of the culinary field. You were kept hopping, and it was always good to see students actually wanting to cook. Checking on the seniors here and there as they went about their cake mistake creations, answering questions and just keeping a general eye on the lot, it looked like everyone was fending for themselves rather well. Good, good. Maybe some kind soul would let her sample some of their creations afterwards, these were turning out good. You Passed! At best this was controlled chaos, which was about par for a busy kitchen honestly. As long as everyone was safe, learning, and having fun, it was a good day. It just meant a lot of running about for her. Scuttling from table to station as needed, checking on people and tapping those that were done to let them know they could leave when they were ready. "Good, good! If you're already done and your station's clean, feel free to head out when you're ready. Please take left overs with you! I'm still walking around so grab me if you need me."
