"Don't go!" The 16 year old almost stuttered her movements at the oh so familiar voice behind her. Almost. The Castle halls never seemed so daunting to her, silk fluttering around her as her muscles pushed her forward. The wedding bells echoed in her head, she shook them out as she raced to the door. 4 steps, 3 steps, 2 steps. Arms. She was caught. "Leave me alone!" Her hands scratched at porcelain flesh, she knew exactly who it was. They held onto her with all their might, bruises forming around her hips. "You said you wouldn't leave me." The 16 year old fumed, her ages glittering with rage. The boy behind her was her love, she wouldn't marry another. But she couldn't let him get hurt, she couldn't stand to be near him. " Get the hell off me." Strands of grey formed around the two, claws protruding out of the figure as a beast appeared before them. The claws threatened to slice through the boy's skin, red marks welts forming on his arms as he let go. She didn't look. Couldn't. She'd hurt him. Hurt her family. She wouldn't stand to be oppressed, this was for the best. She saddled the beast easily just as she had practised, she could sense the guards approaching quickly. "Innogene! What about your famil--" She blocked her senses, she didn't want to hear the rest. She would never come back.
