She beamed at his suggestion. "Are you sure? I never had friends before, I had figured that something was wrong with me."

Even though she said that, the prospect of being friends with someone made her happy and she didn't mind his friendship. He maybe different from the other phonies, even different from her, but she liked how different he was. I mean, her whole entire family is different but she loved every single part of them.

"Is- is that what you think? I thought there is something wrong with me too! Just look at me!" he shrieked, unaware that he dropped his guard down while talking to his classmate without knowing. "I... only have ol-older friends who are n-not in school anymore..." He blushed slightly as he let her know that he had no friends at school. Hence his sour attitude for being there in the first place.

Hugging all the foods she had given him, he just smiled as his face felt hotter than ever. "F-friends?" he stammered with a trembling nervous voice.

"Yup! Friends!" She raised up to give him a high hoof. Velvet was happy to finally have a friend.

She thought he was nice and pretty cool. And she cant wait to start hanging out.

That's it. Peanut had dropped everything he was holding onto the ground as he felt his new friend touch his forehead with her hoof. He felt like he was standing inside a volcano. It got sooo hot all of a sudden! His face flushed red and he was blushing like no tomorrow! He held his hooves against his face. What would she think of him seeing him all blushy blushy!
"S-sorry friend. i... i dropped all the food..." he said in a quiet voice trying to not attract other classmates' attention. "Th-thank you again for sharing all this with me." He was happy, even if his new friend's generous offer was all scattered across the floor. Reaching down, he started to pick up all the extra food that the filly had given to him. He wanted to thank her with something in return but alas, he had nothing to offer except himself to keep her company for many lunch hours to come. "Thank you."
