Farvardin laughed when she had successfully confused her opponent into hitting himself with a rock. She continued to wiggle her hips as she moved hoping to get him confused for a longer amount of time.Alexa wasn't sure if she should be impressed or embarrassed at how her Cerberex was acting. Sure it was impressive how she was managing to slink in close, wiggle her hips, and then slink away without being hit for the moment. But at the same time she couldn't believe Farva was acting like this. It certainly wasn't something she taught her! Mephistopheles was unbalanced and confused by the cerberex's hip shaking - why was she doing that? Up in the trainer box, Lenore frowned. "Use Haze again, Mef!" Although at first bewildered by Lenore's command, Mephistopheles nevertheless raised his arms, causing a thick fog to spiral around the stadium, obscuring his view. "Ah. I see." He murmured as the girl's plan dawned upon him. If he couldn't see the cerberex's actions, he wouldn't be distracted and hurt himself like before. [Move Used in This Post: Haze] [Moves Used Thus Far: Rock Smash, Haze, Earthquake] [HP: Nineteen00/2000] ATK: +100 [Confused 1/2]

Farvardin made use of the fog appearing once again. Sure her opponent wasn't confused and likely to hurt himself but now she could hide in the fog and surprise attack him.
Sneaking up on Mephistopheles she grinned to herself. This battle was fun! The most fun she has had in awhile. Once she saw his huge shadowy form she snarled at him angrily and then darted off.[ Move Used in This Post: Snarl] [ Moves Used Thus Far: Swagger, Snarl] [ HP: 650/1150]

The thick haze blanketed the stadium, and Mephistopheles was unable to locate Farvardin as she snarled again, louder than before. The sound waves assaulted him, shaking him to the core. Up in the trainer's box, Lenore called out to him. "Use earthquake again, Mef!" Nodding, the dusknoir raised his arms, sending the ground into a frenzy. Lenore gripped the railing as the lights flickered from the immensely powerful earthquake, and one of them even shattered, causing an already dark stadium to become even less visible. There was no shaking of the hips this time when the earthquake hit. There was only trying not to fall and die. Farvardin fought to stay standing but the earth moved too much for her to do so. She fell hard and then the ground rose sending her up and then back down.
When it was done she slowly got to her feet.Alexa held onto the railing as the stadium grew darker and shook. When it was all done she saw how badly it had hurt Farvardin. She opened her mouth to give up, she didn't want Farvardin to be seriously injured, when a howl sounded. Farvardin was facing her trainer and saw the defeat on her face. She howled her defiance and will to continue before shooting Alexa a glare. There was no way she was stopping this great time! Seeing her trainer smile faintly and nod she turned to Meph.
She gave him a toothy grin and then rushed right at him. As she drew close a shadowy blob began to form in front of her. With a loud 'Rex' she shot the shadow ball at him.[ Move Used in This Post: Shadow Ball] [ Moves Used Thus Far: Swagger, Snarl, Shadow Ball] [ HP: 150/1150]

The fog began to lift just in time for Mephistopheles to see Farvardin coming. Raising his arms up, tendrils of shadow sprouted up from the ground, intercepting the shadow ball before lurching forward at the cerberex. Qixel You know I realized shortly after starting this battle that Farvardin is pretty big. Like almost Vincent size (aka over 6 feet tall). Since she's a Cerberex I'd figure her height is around the Mega Houndoom height plus it just makes sense that she'd be bigger after evolving again. XP Alexa quickly left her trainer box and rushed over to her Cerberex. She knelt down next to Farvardin and patter her head. She then looked up at Mephistopheles and smiled at him. "Thanks for not holding back against her. I know she appreciates it." She then took out Farvardin's pokeball and recalled her. There was no chance of her carrying the dog pokemon to the pokemon center. She was almost as big as Vincent which meant she was bigger than Alexa. Standing up she turned to face Lenore. "Thanks for the good battle. A shame we didn't do so well this time. Good luck with your next one!" She said before leaving. Mephistopheles bowed respectfully to Farvardin's trainer before vanishing to return to Lenore's side. As the dusknoir floated next to her, Lenore offered Alexa a small, uncharacteristic smile. "Yeah. Thanks for helping us get this far."Lenore turned to face the ghost-type she had spent the last few years of her life with, and smiled brighter. "I couldn't have done it without you, Mef. Any of it. Thanks."The hulking dusknoir nodded. "It has been a mutual experience, Lenore. But our journey has not come to an end. You're growing as a person everyday. You're no longer that little girl in Orre sitting on the swingset by herself. You've surrounded yourself with other people, and I look forward to seeing the days with you. Always."Lenore closed her eyes, but the smile remained as she nestled her head against him.
