"As for the book, it had some very integral points that weren't addressed in literature previously. I can't say I did a book report on it or anything, but I imagine the viewpoint of youth was either not expressed accurately or not taken seriously before then. It also got banned in a lot of schools, which gives it some interesting clout. It's worth a read - if you can keep an open mind."
The bus trundled on, paused at one of its many stops, and picked up an elderly couple that sat not far from the pair. Again it proceeded through its route, pausing only for stop signs, traffic lights, and pedestrian pickups.

He pulled the yellow encased cord hanging by his seat, signaling a stop to the driver. "The next stop is mine. Discussion will have to wait until we get indoors, for obvious reasons." He hoped she understood that as caution around those who might be listening, as the Negaverse's ranks were robust and the pair wouldn't stand a chance.
