A white lie. The loss of her identity and the transition that had taken place, the jagged bits of glass that were the worst memories of her time as a senshi, they still clung to her, aching and festering. But he didn't need to know about that.
Her voice dropped an octave, soft and low, as she added, "They could do the same for you too, you know. Whatever you may think of yourself now, I promise you, it would be better on the other side." With a soft, rolling laugh, she ghosted her lips just lightly against the edge of his jaw. "And more fun. Much more fun. That's a promise."
Even more to reason when he spoke of his place in the order. With that, her fingers left her throat, if only to roughly grab his chin between her fingers, tilting his head downwards. "Well then, darling. If - no, when you tire of the drabness that is your Comcast-plagued existence as a knight - " She rose up onto the balls of her feet, pressing her lips to his - again, rough, but heated, and most likely not nearly enough before she fell away, her smile sly and eyes alight. " - do drop me a line."
With that, she was gone, teleported away to who knew where.

That may be so, but such a move requires preparation. I have to be certain there's nothing more I can do with my position now that could justify staying. That change... It demands I abandon everything I know now, based on faith alone. I cannot take that leap just yet.
The kiss to his jaw drew more attention to her, where he took in her features at an intimate distance. "You drive a hard bargain." It was no exaggeration - she sold the Negaverse far better than Cinnabar hoped to do, and as someone who had once been a part of the White Moon, she had firsthand experience to claim. While the White Moon was not a reflection of the knighthood, she knew the loss of personal identity that came with the switch - and the abandonment of memories that drove it, too.
Scholomance offered no resistance to the kiss; instead, he leaned to it in reciprocation. The press of heat to his lips invigorated and tantalized him in a manner endemic only to Chaos, so far as he had deduced - there was a peculiar pleasure in his instincts warning him against engaging with their ilk. Were those instincts imparted by Scholomance, or his nature as an agent of Order? He was uncertain, but unfazed. As he soon found, however, the kiss did not remain nearly so long as he would've liked, for the girl soon parted from him despite the hand at her waist and bid her farewells abruptly. The fading sense of her lips against his still lingered for moments afterward.
Soon he licked his lips and loosed a quick nasal sigh. It failed to dismiss the lingering scent of her in the area. "Well, Amphitrite, you're easy enough to contact."
He lingered there for a handful of moments before he departed to the nearby roofs in a tried and dependably safe method of travel. He knew the trip demanded a full thirty minutes before he reached the vicinity of his condominium, but it didn't matter - he had several thoughts to occupy him through the venture.frayedflower fin! thank you for playing her with me <3
