Science wasn't one of the classes that tickled her fancy, but she did okay in it. Samira had been a little surprised not to see Mr. Dax upon first walking in, but then again it was cold season. Perhaps he was unfortunate enough to catch the bug. She nodded to the substitute teacher, giving a small wave, before moving to claim her seat. Sami gave the work sheet a looking over before carefully working her way through the assignment. The flower was pretty at least. It made working through labels nice enough.

Pherein frowned remembering if Professor Dax had ever been sick. It was a little weird to have just come from Health and P.E where the topic was how to prevent colds. Then again maybe Mr. Kirket was sneaky and because so many nightmares. Hmm she would have to talk with Kieran and maybe cut down on the pranks for a while. After all she didn’t want to stress them out while they were all recovering from a cold. Still the new substitute was pretty nice and interesting and Pherein quickly filled out the handout before walking it up to sit on the teacher’s desk.

Finn handed in his assignment and returned to his seat with a sigh. He'd been hoping for something more fun than a worksheet, but the worksheet was still kinda fun. He preferred more hands on stuff, but his papa would tell him to think worksheets were a blessing because classes would only get harder.

Plants, oh well they had to finally come to a subject that Baum didn’t really study all that much. Still science was science and there had to be something fun about learning. He wondered why all the students looked worried. Something about the teacher had been replaced. Well there had to be a reason…. Still it was none of baum’s business. Finishing up the handout he hoped the answers where right. He politely turned the handout in to the teacher before slipping out to go to his next class.

Evelyn hadn't been in this class before--she'd never met the old teacher. She also didn't have a plant in a paper cup to take care of. She felt vaguely cheated having now learned that some of the other students did. But she was far more concerned with their assignment. She squinted at the board and carefully copied down the diagram. It was hard to see from this distance, but it had lots of nice colors, so at least there was that.
The worksheet was a little easier, but that was at least partially because she could see it better. Scrambling letters, huh? She carefully ticked off each letter as she used it, then turned in her paper. She kept her head down so that the teacher couldn't see her face and returned to her seat.

What?! Everyone had a plant already?!
Seoul would have been more disappointed if there wasn't a lot of flowers that they kept for their hair back in their room, but, still! Having a plant had to be awesome! Granted, Seoul was probably thinking about those plants they'd read about that ate insects...
Nevertheless, they unscrambled the letters to the best of their ability!

Nikora happily unscrambled the words on the sheet, humming a little tune while she did so. It wasn't a hard sheet, though each word took her a moment to figure it out, so it didn't take her very long to finish and turn it in.

Arya blinked at the sheet in front of him then picked up his crayon to unscramble the words. When he finished he pulled out a blank piece of paper and made a crayon drawing of the flower, planning on giving it to Reina later on. He folded the crayon picture and tucked it into his back pack then turned in the sheet to the teacher.

Shannon tapped her pencil on the desk as she thought over the answers to the questions on the sheet before her. She answered the first two then skipped down the the next one she could recall of the top of her head. She repeated this until there were only ones she had to really think on left. Thankfully it didn't take her very long to finish filling out the rest and she turned the sheet in with a smile.

Kiessi had to stop themselves from practically running to the front of the room to turn their paper in. After handing it to the substitute teacher, they gave a huge grin and went back a little faster than was probably appropriate to do. Well... at least they had enthusiasm.

Rorie scribbled down his answers. He wasn't ever the best at word puzzles, but he was pretty confident that he had gotten them right this time. Pushing out his chair, he walked slowly toward the desk, turning in his paper to the teacher.

Most were probably unaware that the Freshling was even in the class. She had stayed relatively quiet, somewhere near the back of the class when the assignment came. She quickly solved the puzzle and had seemed to somehow just appear behind the desk, placing her paper there before shuffling her way to her spot as quick and silent as she had left.

Piper's tail wagged behind her as she settled into her seat to unscramble the puzzle in front of her. She had always enjoyed puzzles and when she hadn't been running around inside at the orphanage she was probably sitting down working on a puzzle of some kind. It didn't take her too long to unscramble the words and make her way up front to turn it in to the substitute teacher. She smiled as she turned it in upside down so that the other students closer to the front couldn't copy her work. Then she quickly made her way back to her desk to wait for the other students to be finished.

Eilwen was enjoyed her Science class. They had been given an assignment to work on quietly and it didn't require her having to speak up for a change. She felt most relaxed in her classes when she didn't have to speak out in them. It didn't take her too long to unscramble the words on their paper. She knew what the different parts of the plants were, so it was more a matter of naming them then actually unscrambling the words. She however, didn't like having to get up in front of everyone to turn in her paper. She walked as quietly as possible and hoped the other students would be more into their work than distracted by her.

Elliah panicked when she heard there was going to be a quiz in science. Most of the time she spent between other classes was used to study her notes. Science was by far, her worst subject. In class she tried to breath, hoping for the best when the quiz was handed out.
Oh no, ooooh no. Some of these were ok and she filled them out first. The other like four questions she had no idea on. Taking a deep breath, she scrawled in some answers in the hopes they were right. She wasn't going to chance looking off someone else's paper, it wasn't worth the risk. Hopefully she'd gotten enough right to pass.
