"Heh, yeah, I could see that... I mean falling out of a normal bed is bad enough but falling out of a hammock in a tree? Geez, that wouldn't be any fun at all." He said, giving a bit of a laugh, finding the thought amusing since he didn't plan to fall out of the tree, even if he had to tie himself to it. Giving a happy sound Mano said, "So, you're really inviting me to dinner? Here I thought that you might almost want to pass me off to someone else and try to escape." That the man was inviting him to dinner, even telling him that he could pick what they ate, it made the Matori man happy. It would be fun, he could possibly meet the family that Sauron seemed so proud of. Blinking his eyes a couple times at the question posed to him he said, "I... don't know? I mean, t's not exactly something that I have ever though about. I mean, having kids, it's... a big responsibility." The idea of children, it made him think about his little baby brothers, brothers who were lost some time ago. Shaking his head at the thought of the little ones he said, "What caused you to decide on them?" He found himself asking Sauron, wondering if it was because of his wife? Was it the relationship with her that made Sauron want a brood of kids?

"I suppose I just found the right woman, I was lucky enough to find her early on, and I of course wanted kids, but I never thought that I would quite adore being a father so much as I do. I love kids over almost anything and I would have a whole other brood but Kelina scared us last time having triplets and some prat stole the very herbs needed to save her. I hunted them down but I never ever want to feel that way again. We were so fortunate to have three healthy children though the youngest girl is a little behind on her growth, I expect her brothers hogged all the nutrients, but well a cuter shifter I have never seen. Of course I am her father and so I'm probably a bit more than a tad biased." He grinned proudly. "Of course I'm inviting you to dinner, you seem an upstanding guy to me." He wondered if the poor forward waterling had had many people try and escape him. Sauron was rather flattered that such a male would be so interested in a half washed up old man like himself..or perhaps he wasn't quite giving his moss collecting self quite enough credit. He would never cheat on Kelina of course, that simply wasn't in him to do. He was bound to her heart and soul and the results of that binding were currently scurrying around various parts of Ast. He was so proud of his kids he thought he would quite pop soon.

Mano gave a whistle, his eyes going a little bit wide at the thought about actually ending up with a trio of babies from one pregnancy, "Triplets? Really? That's... a lot of kids. Wait, what? Someone stole herbs from a sick pregnant woman?" Why someone would do something like that? Why would they risk the lives of not only the mother but the children? Just the thought of it made his ear fins twitch rapidly before he said, "I'm glad to hear that you were able to hunt down such a villain, it was very loving and heroic of you. I think that only makes you appear that much more attractive in my eyes." He gave Sauron a little wink, unable to help but to flirt with the attractive older man. He really was just too irresistable in Mano's eyes. The man was just so... well, wonderful wasn't he? The way that he seemed to light up when he talked about his wife and children was something to see and enjoy. He was going to enjoy the time spent with him even if he couldn't win him over. Giving a laugh when he was told he was an 'upstanding guy' he nodded, "That really is kind of you to say. A shame we don't have more time, I'd see about taking your fishing to get ingredients for dinner. Hmm... maybe I can provide for the next meal." Well, unless of course they chased him off for too much flirting after the first meal he thought to himself with a chuckle.

"Yes it was glorious until she got sick and I know! What idiot would steal herbs from a midwife looking after a mother, it was kind of beyond me, and I was not a happy camper when I found them at all." The rage had surfaced again but it had enabled him after the flare to burn it steadily to get back to Kelina as soon as possible so Ime could administer to her properly. He had stabbed one he remembered, in the thigh and as he left he thought he had told them to stop the bleeding or he would croak that was the extent of caring Sauron that had been left. He was very glad he wasn't the only one to think that such an act was atrocious. "They were young prentice pups, if I recall correctly. Probably were not thinking but how could you not when the consequences could have been not so ...." He shuddered.

Mano was the sort that had been around a while, had even dealt with some of the more nerdowells in the world, but he couldn't even see those particular people doing what the herb thieves had. It wasn't something that he could wrap his head around, feeling that the only reason to do such a thing was if they were dying themselves... but even then, with the lives of younglings on the line, it still didn't quite balance out in the mind of the Matori man. He was glad that Sauron had been able to figure it out. Mano might not know his wife or his children but it was still something that he could be happy over, the fact that such a situation had a good ending to it. As Sauron continued Mano gave him a smile, leaning in to give him a kiss on the shoulder, "You were most heroic to save your wife in the manner that you did. I am sorry that I stirred up so many bad memories with my curiosity. Shall we turn our thoughts to brighter things?" He'd rather Sauron be happy, that he smiled, instead of forcing him to think on what had to have been a harrowing time for the man.

"Yes lets, Mano, what shall we have for super?" Sauron grinned. Food and males, males and food. Food conquered all bad things eventually. "We will have a wonderful dinner tonight and all turned out well, I have five wonderful children, never worry. Sometimes its a relief to speak about things out loud you know. To fresh ears for once." He sighed and chose not to pay much attention to the kiss he got on his shoulder, this lad was so very affectionate. Sauron was used to the stoic and true love of kelina and the little feather kisses from his daughter. Not so much from another full grown male. The thought made a part of him snicker rather loudly at himself. "What say we take a stroll and have a gander."

Glad to see Sauron back in a batter mood Mano gave the man a bright smile, "Supper, yes! Let's go and see what they have. My favorite thing to eat is fish, so we can look for some of that so long as you are alright with that? If not I suppose I can settle for nibbling on you." He said that in a playful manner, finding it to be too much fun to flirt with Sauron. Of all those he'd met so far he had to say he had some of the funniest reactions to what Mano said to him, making him enjoy his time with the older man even if it seemed as though he had no real chance with him. Not that he wanted to break up a happy marriage or anything like that, though knowing he was taken wouldn't stop him from flirting entirely.
Nodding Mano said, "A stroll around to investigate and figure out what tasty things Ast has to eat sounds like a plan to me." Maybe he'd find someone else to share a bed with for a while since Sauron was right out? Something to consider as they wander about Mano thought to himself, keeping one eye open even as he walked in very close proximity to his new friend.
