Just finished the anime. I don't know why some are calling this anime bad. I liked it.

Winter76 Just finished the anime. I don't know why some are calling this anime bad. I liked it. I just found that the second season could have been better. From what I remember of it, it just made a lot of promises that it didn't keep. The main character's stoic attitude did get annoying as it went on in the second season and with the implant I saw him as becoming more robotic than a human character. I know romance wasn't a major point of the series, but they had a love triangle pretty much with Inaho and Slaine fighting each other ((Those were always enjoyable to watch) with concerns for the princess, Lemrina fighting for Asseylum's identity/popularity and Slaine, and minor characters connect from there. I liked the connections between the characters, but I felt it was the characters individually and ultimately the way the story went that lowered my excitement for it. And the end was kinda anti-climactic unlike Season 1, and felt like it just stopped rather than ended on a good note.

x-QuickSilver You could be Slaine if we did an RP cool Choosing between slain and inaho would be hard cause inaho THINKS in battle, determining the enemy's weak point and taking advantage of that. Slaine I sympathized with and he had a cool mech in the second half, and he knew exactly what he wanted to do.

Season 3 xp OH no I think the ending was a slam dunk to end the series instead of leaving it open for more, I mean a recast with original characters, some minor setting changes (The entire earth defense forces NOT lowering the IQ standards for recruitment to 10...) and some freedom to mold the story to how the guild wants it to go, without much of a road (storyline) to follow other than what the characters generate.

You could play Slaine! xd Well duh razz I'll gladly play the earthling who got trapped on mars and integrated into their society but who was looked down on and aims to be at the top no matter the stakes razz
