Though Gabriel held his attention to Aurel he could see the other two present without having to turn his head. When Vesperus vanished he payed it no mind. Anyone was free to come and go whenever that pleased.
Ah! So this was the one who was taking care of the little ones. It was good to see him present. It was even better to see his pride at taking in such a task. Gabriel didn't look it, but he had a soft spot for cubs. They were innocent, void of worry. The whole world was before them and they did not have to bare the weight. That is how it should be anyways. His own two cubs, Trevor and Alucard, were one his most beloved treasures. Watching them almost made him feel like a young cub at times. The thought was enough to put a slight smile on his maw.
"Always keep them safe." Gabriel responded.
He gave Pan a side glance and within moments the gray bolf was in the air and flapping toward the swarm above head. A few chirps sounded over the fluttering than Pan emerged with two Bolfs in tow. The creme one appeared to be following Pan while the blue one seemed more interested in breaking from the group.
"Should you need assistance, send your bolf to Agharta-"
Immediately after Lilija spoke up, cutting through his words, he turned his full attention to her. That slight smile vanished and was replaced promptly by his former "un-amused" expression. His eyes narrowed. Explaining how the bolf might even know who Agharta was would have to wait a moment.
"In the future, it would be wise to hold your tongue unless your words are dire." Gabriel reprimanded the nantil without raising his tone.

When Lord Gabriel turned and gave her a narrowing expression she felt very tiny in that moment. Her ears flattened and she sunk into her shoulders slightly as he spoke to her. "Yes, M'Lord." She said in reply as she cast a downward gaze to his reprimand. She really should have held her tongue a little bit longer. It was just she couldn't help it when she got excited sometimes.
Her gaze turned skyward as Pan reappeared with two Bolfs and her mood quickly changed. She had never been so close to one before! She couldn't help but be excited in this moment but made sure she wasn't going to interrupt anything further. She couldn't wait to tell Yune! They had been discussing Bolfs just the other day and reading about them in the Library. Now she was actually close to one.
She watched as the one colored in a manner that reminded her of Yune flew over to Aurel as if on command from Pan and she watched the Blue Bolf make it's way towards her as if on it's own accord. She was confused for a moment. Why would it be flying towar- and then she realized something. Was this Bolf for her? Or rather had it chosen to come to her? She looked at the creature in admiration and gave a bow of her head to Lord Gabriel. "I apologize again for my rudeness." She said to him sincerely. She truly meant it, she really needed to socialize a little bit more so she didn't do that every again.
Her attention returned to the creature before her and she admired the Bolf adoringly as it Landed on the ground near her and seemed to look up at her as if knowing she was inspecting it. "I've never been so close to one before." She said softly to herself. Her attention flicked back to Lord Gabriel and Aurel for she was curious to know what else the Lord had to say. Before she had so rudely interrupted them.

The night had gone along as expected. There was little to do around the castle as everyone was out and about with the festivities. No one needed advice, no one needed directions, no one was visiting the castle. All Carmilla had to do was wait and wait and wait. She had already been waiting so long for this night to arrive, now there was more waiting to endure. Very well. She could wait just a little longer. Carmilla peered out of the rocky gap in the wall. Yes, she could wait a little longer, but oh how it was so dull! She huffed silently to herself as he gaze shifted toward the courtyard where she knew the grandest part of the events were being held. She had spent most of her night simply watching the yard. Her gaze was drawn to it. Soon. Oh how soon wouldn't come soon enough! The fluttering of wings. AH! There! Finally. Before she could draw her second breath she glided down the hall and toward the larger gap between the rocks that lead out to a ledge. Her wings spread wide once she cleared the rocky spire. The distance to the courtyard seemed to double as she drifted downward toward it. That massive pale dot near the center was unmistakably her Lord. "MY LORD!" She called out over heavy breaths. "MY LORD! I bring dire news!!" Carmilla could care less who was in the yard with him. They were unimportant right now. She didn't care if she was talking over anyone... this was, unlike the other company, important! Her wings folded to her side even before she landed on the ground. Paws carried her swiftly to Gabriel's side after that, purposefully moving in front of the other nahtill. Despite her slight shortness of breath she still managed somewhat of a regal approach. Her head held high, and crimson eyes poised on Gabriel. "My Lord, Lady Marie has left you. She has taken your child with her. I have searched your lair and she is no where to be found..." She drew in a slow breath. "Last I heard her voice she claimed that she dare not raise her child of light within these dark caves. Her own heart is repulsed at being by your side... My Gabriel, it grieves me to bring you such news..."

"Well well. It looks like your information about Lord Gabriel holds true. Thank you for your help, brothers. If there is anything I can do, whether is be now or anytime in the future, do not hesitate to track me down and ask. After all-"
Pagan's attention was immediately torn away from his companions and dragged towards the panic that surrounded the Magus. He may have no recognized the voiced, but Weaver damn him if he was not able to recognize a blatant lie upon hearing one! Who in the Weaver's high heavens did the Nantlil believe herself to be? And what was she doing spouting nonsense about Lady Marie leaving of her own free will? The Lady would NEVER choose to do such thing! She would never make a choice to break apart her family, especially in such a disrespectful manner!
Oh, anger was rushing through Pagan's veins like a predator upon prey. He would not allow Lady Marie's name to be slandered. Especially when he considered the Lady to be a close friend. He would not allow Lord Gabriel to be lied to! Especially on such a night, and by such a...a...a...Well, he did not know a good word to describe her, but he would find one eventually!
"Why that venomous, lying, rotten, little..." A growl erupted from his throat. Without even looking at his companions he started marching toward the stranger without a second thought. "You two, you just...do something! Go to Gabriel or...do something!"
Oh, if he could literally see red at the moment
"YOU!" he yelled out towards the shouting Nantlil, "Who do you believe yourself to be that you think you could sprout such lies so easily? You may be able to fool some wandering idiot, but do not believe you can fool myself or Lord Gabriel! Now answer, who are you and what purpose do you hold!?"

Midna had been talking to La Muerte for most of the night and unfortunately made herself late. On top of that she'd run into a rather large family of dark Balam who barred her way as they participated in the festivities. Finally however, she'd began her approach up the steps. As she neared the gates she could hear shouting.
It sounded like Camilla... what was she saying? Marie left, that seemed wrong. Midna had spoken to Marie before. That didn't sound like her. Something was strange. Camilla wouldn't dare lie about something like that, they were sworn sisters after all.
A roaring reply answered her sworn sister. Lies he roared, lies. Lies indeed but that couldn't be all. She approached regally. "Camilla, Lord Gabriel," she greeted. There were many others here as well. Most of whom she didn't know.
"My sworn sister; what happened?" Midna asked calmly but regally as she came forward from behind the rest of the Balam. - [160]
Marrok padded beside Midna calmly there were many new bolfs. It hadn't been so long ago he there had been but a few. Marrok however, could feel the tension in the air. he began tensing and looking around more frequently.

So much seemed to happen all at once. A Nantil she did not know proceeded to move herself between Lord Gabriel and herself and say that Lady Marie had left him. The Bolf at her side growled towards Carmilla as if it felt as though the situation was all wrong and she looked down at him with similar feelings inside of her. Surely there was some mistake and she backed up a few paces for she felt as though things were about go south very quickly.
Her gaze flicked over towards Pagan as he approached with Vesperus and another she didn't know in toe and Pagan instantly started calling Carmilla a liar. While he angrily shouted at the Nantil another appeared asking her what had happened. She was still too new to understand the full circumstances of the situation but she was fairly certain that Lady Marie wouldn't leave in the manner the Nantil was describing to everyone.
WC: 158 As the trio made their way back to the Courtyard where Lord Gabriel was he was taken aback when a Nantil he did not know flew up to Lord Gabriel saying that Lady Marie had left him and taken their son, amongst other things. His ears flattened against his head at her words and he felt very uncertain about the situation that was unfolding before him. Pagan had just told them that the Lady Marie had been kidnapped and now this Nantil was saying that she had left voluntarily. His brow furled as he watched everything start to unfold and he moved towards Lord Gabriel in a very submissive manner.
He was fairly certain that Lord Gabriel was going to react in one of two ways and he didn't really want it to be violent. "My Lord.." He said cautiously as he approached but kept distant enough in case he got angry. "It was brought to our attention that the Lady had been taken... Not left of her own will." He said in a cautious tone as he left Pagan to hash things out with Carmilla. He honestly didn't know anything else beyond what Pagan had told to him and Kiyou and he flicked his tail somewhat nervously as he braced himself for what might happen.

Kyou felt a surge of temporary panic wade through him. He was already feeling uneasily as they entered the area, his Bolf Magnus balancing on his backside didn't help... But now this... These...
These false claims were happening. Kyou hadn't actually met Lady Marie but he had serious doubts about whether or not she was inclined to just pack up and leave the dark tribe on her own. It wasn't as if she appeared to have any issues with Lord Gabriel. They seemed on rather peachy terms with one another, or so that's what he had heard.
He inched forward. Kyou gently nudged his Bolf to get off his back as he did so, and then twisted his head to face the Magus with his head slightly lowered, as if he was going to bow. "With all due respect to... You." He glanced towards Carmilla, "that doesn't make any sense. Like Vesperus already said we had been told she was taken. Isn't it just possible you were misinformed?"

"Of course" He responded to Lord Gabriel. There was no hesitation in his answer and Aurel knew that he would give his life for the cubs if it was needed, they were precious to him, as if they were his own children.
Aurel's eyes widened when the bolf flew down and landed before him. "Thank you." he replied softly. This would help him in his chores around the orphanarium.
As several others seemed to enter the room Aurel slinked back to the wall, keeping out of the way. It seemed that something important was going on but he had no clue if he should interject to try to help. Though what perked his interest when the mention of a child came up. However he stayed silent unsure if he should interject or not.

Gabriel was ready to scold his personal adviser when she interrupted the conversation. Forcing her way to the front of the line in front of another clansman that was just reprehended for the same thing. However, when the news begun to pour from Carmilla's maw all words fell from his own slightly parted one. His eyes widened and seemed to brighten with a growing inferno of rage.
Yes, he knew his beloved well and would not believe such accusations. He also trusted his adviser as she had given no reason to lead Gabriel to believe that she would be deceitful. Cornell, Zobek, Carmila, he trusted all of them to give him advice and insight to his colony and the colonies in which they represented.
Having more and more tribesman interject and speak otherwise about Marie was somewhat a comfort, yet at the same time confusing. What was going on?
"WHAT?!" Gabriel roared before he turned all his attention to Carmilla. His nose scrunched back revealing his long fangs.
"Explain yourself!" He than demanded. The fur along his back stood on end and his wings slightly unfolded.
The bolf overhead begun to peep than scatter away from the area. Within moments all of them were gone. Only Pan and the others who had found b'alam companions were left. "I am my Lord's personal adviser and overseer of his castle. Who are you to accuse me of lying when you have no insight to what I have seen. Away with you, I have no business with you." Carmella answered casually. She than returned her attention to Gabriel. "My Lord, it is as I have spoken. Why would I have reason to spread such a falsehood to you? In front of your subjects. I respect you above all else, My Lord..." Everyone in the area received quick glance-over from the pale nantill. She wanted to be sure she remembered everyone here. None seemed as if they would back her, perhaps they were confused. How could they know anything about what was going on within walls they were not permitted. Vesperus and Kyou especially received a long look over. Who brought it to their attention? Once everyone had been taken to her memory she turned her attention to her sworn sister. "My dear sister, a tragedy as occurred... Yet these individuals cannot see that." She than looked back to the growing storm before her. Even a fool could see his rage was building rapidly. It almost appeared as if he were going to pounce on any one of them and tear them apart. Keeping eyes off him for even a moment seemed dangerous... even for her. With a growl Gabriel snapped his attention to Pagan.
"Where, who?! Who has taken her? Everyone here seems to have some answers, now tell me. Where is Marie? Where are my Sons?" He growled.

Lilija found herself afraid of Gabriel in this moment, mainly because of the way his stance was and the tone of his voice. She would have to say, if someone had come to her with such news she'd probably.. No, she wouldn't. She'd be confused and upset but not scary like him. At least she didn't think she would be? The Bolf at her side kept close and still glared at Carmella still, not liking her in the least bit. Her gaze shifted to Vesperus as she moved slightly closer to him. He was the only one she really knew here right now and she didn't want to stay in her current spot.
WC: 113 Total thus far: 1273His gaze shifted to Lilija and he found it somewhat un-fitting she'd find herself in such a place right now. In his mind she was the least likely to be able to handle aggression, though he was certain she'd be able to calm individuals down if need be. He just gathered from his experience with her that she wasn't exactly a fighter, but she was one that had a good heart. Despite his own personality he actually didn't mind her too much. His gaze fell upon Gabriel as he stared at Carmilla. This was definitely a tricky situation right now. Who was telling the truth and who was lying?
