"Oh a farm sounds good, there is nothing better then home grown food I say." He smiled at her. "Come say hello Kalith."

The otterlike cat thing came closer hopping from rock to rock and grumbling about the lack of water and descent muddy ground. He headbutted his pet gently then sniffed daintily at the hybrid in greeting.

"I think a certain somebody would appreciate a trip to Matori don't you think?" He chuckled. "Here, dig your fingers into his fur its so thick and soft its probably waterproof when wet. It makes sense for something that is in the water so much."

Kalith blinked up at Ming with large yellow eyes. His pet seemed to be very happy around her, which was an improvement.

Kalith chuffed and purred at her in happy agreement. He wasn't exactly sure what they were saying but from the way they were moving and not stuck together any more they were probably getting out of this place...he just hoped they were not going north, frozen water was no better then rocks.

"I am so excited about this, a new adventure and its not in Jauhar." He hopped from foot to foot, expressing his joy. "Woohoo!" He picked her up and twirled her around. He seemed to like doing that but well why not! She made him happy.

"I am crazy, crazy in love." He grinned and patted Kalith when the Zanteer looked at him oddly. "Well then off we go to the market." He started marching then paused..."Which er way is it Ming? I'm not so familiar with Sauti as I am with Jauhar its so...flat and open that everything kind of looks the same." He tilted his head.

Kalith started to hop from rock to rock, looking for a descent place to walk. It was harder to move about on land with a body designed to swim. He would be happy when this day was over so he could sleep.

"Its not that I like them, I've had quite enough of them, but it is hard to navigate, maybe when we move I can plant just one and baby it so its tall enough that I can find the house." He mused.. the wind would probably blow it crooked but whatever as long as it was tall enough for him to see.

He accepted her hand and let her lead. It was nice not to be the one making all of the decisions for once.

"What supplies do we need? I can rig some pack sacks for Kalith, he can't carry much when we go through Oba he gets too hot, but I can carry a pack too."

He peered ahead, finally spotting the market. "It looks busy there, must mean we are in luck and there is good stuff." He liked shopping...most of the time. A big crowd also meant he would have to watch for thieves. He didn't want any one of his party getting hurt.

Kalith grumbled his agreement and sighed happily when he could walk on normal ground. Really this place was more for gazelle type things not Zanteers. Maybe if they moved here they could build a pond for him then he would be happy. Maybe they could find a mate for him too, he could start a colony. Kalith liked that idea. He would have to inform them of it later.

Isolder was curious about what goods Sauti would have to offer and while things were not as colorful as they were at home there were some beautiful things. Some lush yellow flowers for one. He bought a boquette on the sly to give to her after their shopping was done. He would pick it up later once the food was bought. He drifted over to the stall and asked her questions about the food. It looked good.

He peered at the meat curiously and tasted some, his face lit up. "Oh yes it is good!" He was used to insect meat but this was something else entirely..heavenly even. He wondered if Matori would have meat like this but more likely it would be fish, he wasn't used to fish either.

He had plenty of food with him so he didn't need to buy any. Pity. Not that his own meat was bad it was just that he was used to it.

Soon they would be on the road to somewhere knew, they had to get through Oba first which made him nervous. But he was most eager to get to paradise.
