 Pepper didn't know how he'd done it, but Andromeda had gotten the perfect speed and push the first try. A bright grin lit up her face and she nodded enthusiastically. "You got it perfect!" she chirped, pushing off as soon as he'd reached the highest point. If they could time it right, this would be the best time she'd had on the see-saws.
She'd aimed for the same pace that he had done, but the way his wings were fluttering a bit looked odd. "Did I get it right?" It would be pretty disappointing if she failed after he'd done it so well, but she wouldn't give up if she had.

Pleased that he'd gotten it right, Andromeda wiggled a bit in place, wings flapping more earnestly once he was up at the top. "Yay! I'm glad~!" He giggled, and started to descend again, wings still flapping a bit. It slowed his descent a little, which was exactly what he'd wanted though..... oh no! He'd upset Pepper!
"Oh! No you did it right! I like to try and slow it down with my wings if I can! It's good practice." He nodded, and squatted down to allow her to reach the top of the peak before slowly kicking off again.

Pepper heaved a sigh of relief. She had done it right! "I'm so glad!" Now that he mentioned it, he was going down slower than she had. A surge of jealousy went through her. How different would it be to have wings like that instead of her tail? There had to be so much more that she could do if she had them. . but he did have trouble with them sometimes, she remembered. There weren't a whole lot of fallen among her classmates, or chimera either. Maybe they had special classes because they had wings? Oh, but that didn't make sense. Well. . . it did a little.
"Practice?" Wing practice? "Using your wings?" she muddled her way through it. He would have to practice learning how to fly wouldn't he? After all, nobody just knew how to do it. Birds and other things with wings had to learn how to fly, so it was probably the same for nightmares. "How else can you practice?" she asked, bending to let him get up higher before pushing back up again. The conversation was almost as fun as the see-saws.

"Yeah! Flyin' practice!" He nodded, letting out a pleased sound as he reached the top -- even higher than last time! Oh boy! He flapped his wings happily, perhaps a little too hard, as the see-saw shook a little. Whoops! He held on tight and stopped flapping them, then gave a sheepish laugh. "Whoops... But yeah! I gotta learn how to fly all properly. I can kinda hover a bit right now but not really..." He shrugged, and maintained the slow descent as he came down again... And then crouched a little lower so Pepper could go up high, too.

Pepper's smile brightened, seeing how much fun they could have together was the best. Her eyes widened a bit when the see-saw shook, and for a moment she worried that it was going to fall over with them on it! The motion stopped when Andy did and she let out a sigh of relief. "That's ok, I'm sure you'll be able to do it before you know it!" the demon told him confidently. "'Sides, it's not like there's a whole bunch of other freshlings with wings that can do it already. You can count on me to help too if you need it!"

"Yeah..!" He nodded, pleased that Pepper thought he'd be able to achieve flight soon enough - he really would just have to keep practicing... and she was right! It wasn't like there were a lot of other Freshlings that were able to fly already. He continued with the careful up and down for a while, until one of the caretakers signaled that it was time to go inside.
"Oh... I guess play time is over!" He held his wings out to stabilize their positions, making it so neither one of them would fall too hard once it was time to get off. "Maybe we can meet up and do something else sometime?" He asked once they were both on their feet. The caretakers were getting a little more urgent, though. "Um!! I guess I'll see you later, Pepper! It was nice to meet you!" He waved, then trotted off after the Eldritch caretaker to go to his next class.
Random Nobody 13 One month later I finally reply................ I figure we can call this an end???
