"Nothing?" She asked, innocently enough. She could think of a dozen things that would make her heart beat faster than any video game could manage (but none of them were
that kind of thing). She followed his hand to pat where his guns would have been if they were summoned, and let out a soft snort, before doing the same.
"Maybe I was wrong. Maybe we were meant for guns, after all. It just seems strange, now. Not using my hands, I mean. Safer - which means more boring - and therefore, strange."
He'd never met another of their group, and somehow, that relieved her. It seemed like she wasn't the only one who'd been adamant about keeping her identity a secret. "I've never met any myself. But I think that's by design. They knew full well I would disown them if they ever revealed themselves to me - or anyone - in any way." She smirked proudly. "I was
very strict. Which is why just moving in next to you all of a sudden was.. jarring."
She let another beat of time pass, staring straight ahead, before adding a quiet addendum to her thought.
"Not bad. Just jarring."
