The winds only got stronger as the gryphon would find if she continued forward. The trees wavered in the winds giving the effect that the woods were infact haunted. Stronger and stronger the winds got until as fast as they started a sudden stop happened.
From out of the shadows stepped a dark wild looking gryphon. Seeing the other he lifted a brow. Quickly he turned and took off deeper into the woods. The winds started back up again.
Persea hunched down and dug her claw/paws into the ground as she walked. The wind was getting stronger, and the whispering with it. She knew she was not crazy, but it was starting to seem more like the trees themselves
were speaking. It almost seemed like they were shaking in their spots, rooted to the ground unable to get away.
And the wind just blew harder, making it worse. She couldn’t hear anything over the rustling branches. Instead, she glanced around continuously, watching for anything. She was still halfway through taking another careful step when the wind simply stopped, and the trees were silent. She froze, startled. Slowly her head turned, scanning the woods around her, and there! Yes there was movement! And it was… another gryphon? The dark male seemed a bit menacing, looming from the shadows suddenly like he did. His coloring made him blend in, and she couldn’t decipher his expression. He just looked wild. And obviously not expecting to see her, from the quirk of his brow.
Before anything could be said, it almost felt like he was running from her, as he turned back into the woods. The wind returned as he disappeared into the shadows. It was almost like they had stopped for him, but she wasn’t sure. And she didn’t have time to think. She lunged in the direction he had disappeared in. “
Wait!” She called out, “
Please, wait! Do you know what is going on here? Please talk to me!”
