Sanidine clucked his tongue and shook his head. "Sounds like you guys've got it rough. But I wouldn't worry about us, or starseeds. They've been around forever, right? So who cares if you get killed a little early. You'll always come back. Maybe even at a time when you'll be needed more. You know?"
He shrugged, brushing the topic off. "I'm just saying it's not as permanent as you guys treat it. Maybe this is the shittiest inhabitable planet in the universe and we're all just stuck here, waiting to die, so we can be reborn somewhere better."
If those weren't Sanidine's true thoughts or feelings, they at least sounded like they were. He seemed convicted enough of those words, but persisted. "It seems like the only way we'll stop fighting is if we're all on the same side. Which—you know. If more people from the White Moon joined the Negaverse, the Negaverse might actually change. You all think the only fighting has to be done with your group versus mine, but honestly? Change comes from the inside. If you want to change how the Negaverse does things, join it. I guarantee they'll listen to you more if you're wearing black than white."

Victoria's brow quirked as he listened to Sanidine speak and nibbled on the inside of his upper lip a little while he thought about the words the other spoke. He started laughing a little bit when the other said he was sure the negaverse would listen if he joined. "Sad thing is you have to remember what your beef was, and hope it wasn't one of those things cleaned out of your mind."
He crossed his arms looking at the other, "They may listen to those wearing black more but does that actually make it right? Do two wrongs make a right?" He paused and shrugged a little, "Maybe it's not about who wins. Maybe it's about something else?" The senshi shrugged a little, "It can't all be black and white like a chess match can it? We lack a queen to check mate, I assume ya'll might have one? I know there's General Kings and Queens, but who's over them?"
He paused, "Though there are princesses, some are heads of teams but they're not the same thing as a queen or king."

"So write it down?" Sanidine offered. "Or tell someone you can trust and they can remind you. Or just be a little more optimistic. Hell, maybe if you switch over, the only thing you'd forget would be all that extra weight you're carrying around."
He seemed to be relaxing a bit and took a much more casual stance as he continued. "Anyway, you're still looking at it like we're black and white. You don't have to be doing the wrong thing once you're over here. It's actually pretty liberating. I've got direction when I need it, purpose when we've got it, and free reign to do whatever else I need. Pretty sweet deal." He shrugged. "I mean, when you think about it, it's pretty awesome. Plus the Negaverse takes care of you when you need it. They don't want to lose a good soldier and they have ties everywhere. Like—just imagine your hopes and dreams. All those obstacles are suddenly just minor bumps in the road. But I guess it's hard for Senshi to see that. Working with the Negaverse isn't so bad. And if you think it is, maybe you should join, get powerful, and then push for reform. Make a checklist of things you wanna do if you're worried you'll forget. I mean—it's worth a try, right? How many of your Knights or Senshi have thought of that?"

Victoria stopped, looking at Sanidine as he spoke and the super senshi shook his head, "That sounds like an idea that could be something. Though . . ." He paused looking uncomfortable at the idea.
"Couldn't we work together on opposite sides though?" He seemed to think, "I'm sure it wouldn't be ideal, but there's those that won't join. They'll refuse, you can't kill everyone. People'll notice." He said resting his hands behind his head.

Sanidine chewed on the inside of his cheeks thoughtfully and then finally just shrugged. "Maybe, but hell if I know. Killing everyone sounds exhausting. Is that what the White Moon is prepared to do, or do you guys just think the Negaverse is all blood and guts and that's the end of that?"
He seemed particularly interested in the idea; arms crossed over his chest. He hadn't been in this war for that long, so he didn't know the extensive history of both sides, or who had done what.
Or, if he knew, he just didn't care to believe the Negaverse was doing the wrong thing.

Victoria stopped and looked at Sanidine as if he wasn't aware of how things worked? Or at least, "You realize when you pull starseeds you're pretty much killing people right?" He pointed out, "We can't do that, I don't know what use they are to you guys but I mean doesn't that bother you? Or do you all just, find a reason to justify it?"
He stopped, "I mean I've heard of some white moon senshi killing but it's rare occasions and usually those that have gone really badly." There was a frown as he shook his head, "I mean obviously there's some on our side that won't mind killing off you guys if they felt like that was their options."
He stopped, "I'm just concerned that even if I ever some how ended up there I'd be doing things I really didn't want to do nor would I have agreed with doing those things."

Sanidine simply shrugged. "I've never pulled a starseed, so don't get your panties in a twist. But I'm not going to lie. There are people out there that deserve to die. There are people that escape the law, people that get away with murder. Literally."
He shrugged.
"I've got a hell of a list of names of people I've seen do bad things and get away with it."
He should probably be on that list, himself, but he didn't mention it.
"There's a point where everyone's capable of being a killer. Everyone has the ability to murder. Tell yourself whatever you want, but one day, if the situation arises? You'll do it. And you won't even think about it."

"Right, I mean I suppose I can understand if there's someone that deserves it. Would save a lot of money if we used the method in the justice system." Victoria cringed a little at the thought though. "I mean, it could certainly help right?"
He paused, and nodded; "Well yeah everyone's got a list of . . . well sinners in their eyes."
Though when the other one said everyone's capable of being a killer he twitched a little, "I would hope, at the very least I felt justified enough to do something so . . . so . . . well murderous. I mean you're probably right. I just hope it's for a good reason; ya'know?"Kyuseisha no Hikari OMG I'm digging up rps from the graves emotion_zombie

Sanidine shrugged. "It's not like everyone goes out to do it for fun. There are people, but." The rest was unspoken; criminals and serial killers weren't exactly the norm. Sanidine certainly didn't think he had much in common with them.
Well. That wasn't totally true. He liked to hurt people. But kill them? His pleasure was deep seeded—dark, and twisted. And he knew it. But he wasn't going to start talking about his sick pleasures in front of this guy.
Instead, he just continued. "But you'd be surprised what justification people use. It doesn't matter, though. A good reason to someone is a bad reason to another. But that's just getting petty. The point is, life isn't sacred when you waste it. The Negaverse kills people, Senshi kill people. It is what it is. But you can't condemn one's killing and not the other. But this is a war. I guess you gotta be prepared to kill or be killed. Sort of comes with the job though, right? And anyway."
He knocked elbow's with Victoria and flashed a quick grin.
"If you could get away with it, what's to stop you from killing people? I mean, the bad ones. The ones that escape the law, or hurt others. What's to stop you from stopping them from hurting someone else?"

Kyuseisha no Hikari Hitting some really freaking old tags. . . if you're still interested in finishing this? "Right," There were names he could name off the top of his head, that included the unspoken rule. Though he still held some concern. Despite that, there was still a point that Sanidine made. "Mmm, it does seem like it. Though we can't quite pull starseeds like your side can. Those that I know of or had heard doing anything over on this side with killing, it sounded more like torture first. At least . . . " He couldn't believe he was saying this, "Your sort is a quick way to go without a . . . ton of suffering."
The other knocked his elbow and his brow lofted, "Mm... but what's that saying? An eye for an eye?" He stopped, "I can't deny getting rid of the bad ones, the ones that really need it isn't a bad idea, but what's to stop someone from doing the same if they thought that person didn't deserve it?"
He paused, "You see it often, someone thinks they were justified or didn't do what was proven they did, and they fight back too."
Victoria sighed, "The worse thing about war. No one ever wins until one side is completely wiped out or gives up."

“Morality is subjective,” he shrugged. “Life experience give us the wisdom we need to know who needs to go. Someone who murders a kid in cold blood? Not really any question on if he was good or bad. A lifetime criminal who has no redeeming qualities? Some people, there isn’t really any question. It’s an eye for an eye, a dog-eat-dog world. And when one ‘side’ wins?”
He shrugged again. “You never know if they’ll turn on themselves. At least with the Negaverse, there’s not so many conflicting groups. I mean, you work as a team. But with Senshi, and Knights? They don’t even have anything holding them together. You’ve got a dozen or more Knight groups, and each Senshi--hell, most of them probably have some agenda based on their own wants and needs. How do you even know who you can trust over there, too?”
Sanidine seemed dismissive; he was just mulling over the thought. “No one’s come up with a better idea so far, so I guess fighting’s all we got. Maybe one day we’ll figure something out. Just, when we do? I want to be on the winning side.”

Victoria listened to Sanidine. "Right, I suppose you guys do seem to have some sort of collective that we don't." He was musing, "I wonder what your secret is, that allows you to work seamlessly as one. I won't deny we have trouble doing that. However, sometimes it still benefits us, because some can do what others can't."
He paused, "Well, same goes for your side." He admitted, "I'm standing here talking to you, we're on opposite sides; but how do we know we can trust each other?" There was a moment while he waited, "It's called giving people a chance, if they stab you in the back once; shame on them; twice it's shame on me."
After all it was fairly obvious that he was taking chances talking to those who he was told not to by the rest of his team. He sighed softly . . . "I want to be on the winning side too, but it's hard to tell who that's going to be. I hope we do finally figure it out."
There was a moment before he realized what time it was getting to be, and while he was lonely for some other interaction besides his own family . . . . This discussion was also fairly depressing the more he thought about it. "It'll be light soon." He mused as he watched the horizon. "I think there'll be people wondering where I'm at soon."

Sanidine just laughed; he seemed in good spirits. “I suppose you’re right, it is getting late. Of course,” he winked, “I’ve got the luxury of being able to have late nights without anyone nagging about where I am or what I’ve been doing. But I understand.”
He moved away a bit and stretched.
“I enjoyed our talk. Maybe you and I will get to meet up again sometime, hmm? You seem like you’ve got a brain on you. I’d like to pick at it a bit more, one day. So you take care of yourself until then, won’t you?”
Sanidine wasn’t sure what was supposed to come of their meeting; a part of him felt like he should fight him more, but the other part of him…
Victoria could be of use to the Negaverse, maybe.
Only time would tell.

Victoria nodded as Sanidine spoke, "Ahaha, Is that lucky you for no one to nag you?" He smiled softly, despite the Russian accent possibly masking some of the playful jab.
"I hope so, it'd be nice to have more conversations of this level. That don't involve beating the s**t out of the other person." It was really nice, considering.
He waited for a little as he watched Sanidine walk away, before turning to move in the opposite direction, at least he could make sure he was a safe distance away before he powered down and moved on home.
