One of the holes in the wall was really deep, and he wedged a bucket inside. It filled the hole, and could probably double as a shelf if it needed to.

Rinko found a very broken window in one of the common areas. Repeating from the Hole Patch, she used a Garbage Bag as a base to cover up the hole, then split a Dry Erase Board into multiple strips before nailing them over the plastic bag. That should be sufficient in stopping the cold wind from entering, even if it is no longer able to look out though.

What they really needed for all of this was a huge bucket of Spackle. There were more holes in the building than swiss cheese, and he rolled up the last towel and stuffed it in another. Maybe they'd find a hardware store around that still had some. Surely Spackle wasn't a prime apocalypse item.

Rinko had to push hard to get the door open. Huffing, she got a bottle of oil to lubricate the hinges.

More broken windows. It was no wonder that infected had been able to get inside, they were probably just able to waltz in and do what ever they'd like. At least they were taking care of it now.

He covered it with a garbage bag as well.

Rinko almost slipped on the puddles of water scattered around the corridor, coming from a leaking facet. Jury rigging the bucket & a pipe allows the water to flow into a nearby drainage hole.

Looks like they are almost finished. Rinko wanders back to the meeting point to wait for her partner. Once he is also finish, they can check out.

Alright! They were down to their last bit of scavenged stuff, and Dylan took the board over to one of the really broken windows. It wasn't nearly large enough to fix the whole thing, but when he wedged it in at an angle, at least it would make a clatter if something did try to come in.

He headed back to the gathering area, and grinned. "Guess that's it, then." He said. They were finished for now.
