Cecil didn't know what to make of the creature either, it was completely different than the infected they had seen, and he had seen them well enough in the washrooms the night before. But this...this was a nightmare. He watched with wide eyes as it idled wondering briefly if this would be it. They were about to be caught and he had no idea how to fight this thing off.

Luckily fighting was not needed and in time the creature wandered away and even when Rook spoke Cecil dared to wait a moment or two later.

"Not unless our goal today is to find out what that thing is." Cecil said, hoping it wasn't.

"No, we head back for now and tell the others." His mentor said. "Lets go this way around the back. We should be well out of that things path. Come on." The upperclassman gestured for them to follow as he made his way back to the dorms.

Cecil was just as eager to leave and fell into step behind his mentor. Something should have told him all was not well with the world with Rook behind him. There was a small alarm going off in his head but he just chalked it up to the danger that had just passed them by. It was only shortly after he felt the sting of the slap against his back, flinching and bowing his back like he was trying to escape the pain.

"Ahh.." He tried to keep his noise to a minimum since he knew they weren't alone out here but he set his gaze on Rook as he retreated ahead of him. "You look forward to when I return the gesture."
