[Anna Marlowe]

Anna rounded the corner of such beautiful scenery to be considered a classroom with one hand lightly running across a railing, eyes wandering all around. Honestly she was embarrassed to be so late, but figured showing up late was better than not at all. It seemed most students were still there, despite her overhearing the last bit of instructions given by their teacher. Everyone was in animal form..sort of. Did she need to follow suit? Mentally she shook away her thoughts. She'd just have to play it by ear. Coming within a respectable distance her arm dropped lightly back to her side- she was unsure how to act. "Sorry to interrupt- I'm in this class as well, although incredibly late..what did I miss?" She said smoothly, with a conflicting stance- she stood straight as a board despite her desire to be casual in spite of being in such a.. predicament. It was all rather awkward. Her mind was swelling with possibilities over how the next few seconds, minutes, hour? would go. Over-analyzing again. She resorted to gently biting the inside of her lip to focus.

A pang of annoyance suddenly shot through Anna like a bolt of lightning. It was a nice gesture, but something deep inside got incredibly agitated, cutting off her feelings of anxiety seconds before. "I see.." her voice was monotone, and almost wavered with a tinge of coolness as she smiled neatly at the girl who ran up. She didn't want to slip on the first day, not to mention the first few seconds she'd been in the room. The girl's accent was interesting at least, she thought, as if she'd somehow never speak to her again. Then again she didn't assume she'd be in contact any more than needed with anybody in this room, including the instructor. The spontaneous movements of the other girl kept her focused somehow, as her attention returned to the teacher, waiting for an answer to the girl's question.

Anna's face nearly remained straight if it weren't for the flashes of confusion, surprise, and then contemplation that gradually showed through. "How good am I with fish? what am I going to do with fish?" she finally answered, accepting that she'd have some sort of punishment. She DID arrive late. Now, there was no problem looking at fish- although it was a bit of effort-ok, she had no clue how- to snatch any out of the water, even in animal form, as she didn't exactly have to go catch fish much in her life, nor did her grandparents ever take her fishing. And swimming was out of the question.The problem ironically swam in her head, leaving her to wonder just what this punishment would be. "ah- oh. Anna Marlowe." she could feel her cheeks turn pink in embarrassment. Stuttering certainly wasn't normal and usually she acted in the opposite manner

Anna watched quietly, and accepted the paper with instructions. "A great white? That's interesting." She said, trying to sound genuine. Of course she'd never seen a real one, and only read about them in a book once. So instead her reply came out sounding defeated; and there was no expectation of a reply from such a lame response. On another note, there was no hint of concern over the 'threat', although she did sniff over the thought of her nose getting bitten by those teeth. With a nod after looking it over she placed it in a jacket pocket and brushed some hair behind her ear, feeling self conscious. "Is there anything else you'd like from me?" she asked politely. After thinking about it, maybe the reason she was so on edge around this instructor was due to the shark thing..so she assumed from her teeth. Did she have a shark aura or something, then? maybe that was it. And if that was the case maybe her meeting with "Gummy" wouldn't go as well as she hoped. She resumed biting the inside of her lip in thought.

Anna blinked and nodded slightly before turning and exiting the area, giving her classmates another look to at least become vague familiar with their faces for future reference. Maybe she'd pick up her violin and play it somewhere.
